“Kenton.” Of course it’s Kenton. I spent the whole night with him. A night that is fuzzy in some parts.

I remember the fireworks, followed by more drinks and dancing. There was a whole lot of laughing. My feet hurt from all the dancing, but nothing else on my body does. I would think if we’d had sex, I would have a throbbing ache between my legs. I’m a virgin, after all.

With my ass pressed against Kenton’s hard cock right now, I know I’d be feeling the aftereffects if he’d been inside me. Plus, I’m still wearing clothes. Well, my panties and a shirt at least. Strangely enough, it’s my mouth and lips that are sore.

They almost feel bruised, which isn’t surprising after all the kissing we did. The man’s mouth is addictive. After our first kiss neither of us could stop. My mind flashes to me pulling him down over and over for more kisses while we danced.

“Yes, love,” he responds while nibbling at my neck. I almost moan out loud at how good his lips feel against my skin, but I miraculously hold it in.

“Are you calling me love because you can’t remember my name?” I say teasingly. At least I think I’m teasing. But I know deep down inside if he’s forgotten my name, I’m going to be hurt. Which is crazy because we’ve only just met.

More of the night before starts coming to me in flashes. One is of us tumbling into his hotel room while making out. I’d stripped down and drunkenly kept asking for more. Pretty sure I even said the word devirginize at some point. I cringe and push that memory to the back of my mind. He clearly hadn't acted on my request. In fact, he pulled his shirt off and put it on me.

“I think I remember my own wife’s name.”

“What?” My stomach drops as my hungover brain keeps trying to play catch up. “You’re married!” I have the same name as his wife. In the blink of an eye, I’m on my back with Kenton looming over me.

“Yes, love. I'm married.” My hands go to his bare chest to try and push him off me. “To you.”

“What?” I shake my head, which is not helping my headache. With the lack of memory I seem to be experiencing, I would think it would be hurting more. Then my stupid brain reminds me of Kenton forcing water and Advil on me before bed. All while I was trying to cop feels of him and going on about how I’d landed a husband with a killer body. “We're married.”

My eyes go to my finger, where there is indeed a ring. Holy crap. There sits a breathtaking emerald on my left ring finger surrounded by diamonds. Even the band is covered in diamonds. Another one of those memories comes back to me of Kenton slipping the ring on my finger saying the ring matched my eyes. It does.

“Breakfast should be here soon. How’s your head?”

“It hurts a little,” I find myself saying.

“I’ll get you something for it.” He presses his mouth against mine in a quick kiss before he’s out of the bed. I sit up, watching him stroll across the hotel room in only a pair of boxer briefs. I married a man with a very nice body. I finally get a full view of all the tattoos that run up his arms and onto his chest. I squeeze my thighs together trying to sate the ache that’s forming between them.

“Kenton,” I call after him. He opens a cabinet, pulling out a bottle of water. “Oh, just get me some water from the sink. I bet hotel water is crazy expensive.” Out of all the things I should be saying, that shouldn’t be it right now. Kenton only gives me a sexy as hell smile.

“I can afford it, love.” He hands me two white pills. I pop them into my mouth as he opens the water before handing it over next.

“Clearly.” I hold up my hand with a giant ring on it. “Unless it’s not real. I mean, it’s not real, right?” He lifts his brows, that smile of his only growing. He is so damn handsome. I’ve either lucked out or there’s something wrong with him. Because there is no way this man is still single.

“It’s real, but if you don’t like it we’ll get you something else. It was all last minute, so we didn't really get to pick it out.” He shrugs.

“And how did we get this?” I ask, searching my mind for the answer, but none comes.

“I made some calls.” He shrugs, leaving it at that. I go to ask more questions but am interrupted when a knock sounds at the door. Kenton stops to pull some slacks on before he goes to open it.
