There would be plenty of men at her beck and call.

Wolf couldn’t remember ever approaching a woman like this. Being a nanny to her kid was just an excuse to keep her. He had no intention of keeping mother and daughter separate, but he also wasn’t going to let them go. If he did, she would have to die.

Rain and Evelyn had each seen way too much. They had heard too much as well. The men who’d taken them were already dead. Their rotting corpses were feeding some animal in the far-off ocean so no one would ever know what happened.

He wanted Rain though. Had made the decision long before he stripped her naked and saw what she had to offer.

He was going to have her. Not that he was a rapist. No, Rain was going to have to come to his bed willingly.

She stood up, as he expected her to, and shook her head. “You have got to be kidding me.”

“No, I am very much real.”

“Then hell no,” she said. “I will never sleep with you.”

“Believe me, Rain, sleep isn’t what I have in mind.” He stood up, and she took a step back. When she went to take another, he saw her falter, and then she kept her feet firmly on the ground.

“Do you think that’s wise?” he asked.

He saw her jaw clench. She opened her mouth, and he lifted a hand.

“Before you think to answer. You cannot have one without the other.”

“What?” she asked.

“You will not be able to take care of Evelyn without spreading those pretty legs for me.”

“You can’t be serious.”

He smiled. “I am. I do not kid around about these matters.”

“You’re sick.”

“I have been called many things in my time. Trust me, this isn’t a shock.” He took a step toward her, and this time, Rain didn’t move, even as their bodies touched and he put a hand to her back.

Her throat worked as she swallowed, and he imagined his cock in her mouth, hitting the back of her throat. She would swallow his cum, and he couldn’t wait to have his hand at her neck and feeling her take all of him.

He groaned. “You are going to see that I’m very serious about this, Rain. If you want to see your little girl again. If you want to even have a semblance of a life, then you are going to have to submit to me.” He slid his hand down to her ass and squeezed the cheek.

She trembled in his arms.

Had this woman not been touched?

Had she not been shown what a real man could do?

He needed every single detail of her life, and Mitchell was taking way too much time. Wolf preferred it when he had the answers.

Rain was a mystery to him. One he had to solve.

“And when you do, Rain, you’re going to enjoy it.” He let her go, not giving her a chance to push him away. His cock protested.

If Rain were to look close enough, she’d see the effect she was having on him. A quick glance at her chest, and he knew he affected her. The air in the room was warm, but her nipples were beaded tight. Her hands shook a little as she pushed some hair off her face.

“I will leave you to enjoy your breakfast. Think about what I said.”

He left the bedroom, and just as he was about to shut the door, she said, “Please, don’t hurt her.”

“I have no intention of doing so.”

It was one of the reasons why Evelyn and Rain were now his prisoners. He should have had them shot back at the docks and ended this, but there was something in this woman. Seeing her fight for her child had distracted him, and now he was having to pay the price. She was his problem now.

Sliding the three locks into place, he nodded at the man outside the door, who held a gun and was ready to do whatever it took.

Wolf held his cell phone in his hand and checked in with Evelyn. He wasn’t surprised to see the little girl curled up on the floor. The tea party long forgotten as she had fallen asleep.

He chuckled and veered down the corridor, going to the young girl’s room.

The guard stepped aside as he entered.

He told Evelyn not to go near the door as a game. The guard knew to keep his weapon hidden from the child. Those were his instructions, and they would adhere to them, even if they didn’t agree.

Stepping into the room, he went over to Evelyn and picked her up. He carried her over to the bed, and not once did she stir. The excitement of the last twenty-four hours had clearly gotten to her.

He eased her into bed, removing her socks as he did so. She snuggled into the bed, and Wolf gave himself a few minutes to look at her.
