“I brought in enough supplies to last a month.”

He glanced around the shack that was just barely better than a tent. “You seriously want me to stay here.”

“Yes. It’s the safest place for you.”

“I don’t have a car. How the hell am I supposed to get out if I need to?”

“Try not to need to.”

“Fuck you, Beau. How can you—”

“How can you argue with me when you left me for dead?” That was low, but he’d pissed me off, and I was still hurting.

“I didn’t. I… There’s a lot you don’t understand.”

Then why hadn’t he bothered to explain it? “I’m sure there is, but right now, what I do understand is that you’re no safer than I am, and you have less ability to defend yourself. Stay here and wait for me to contact you again.”

“I don’t even have cell service out here.”

I pulled out the satellite phone I’d gotten for him. “Take this. My number is programmed in.”

“Where did you—”

I wrapped his hand around the phone and pulled mine away. “That’s irrelevant. Answer if I call.”

“You’re still so fucking bossy. You haven’t changed at all.”

“I hope to God you have.”

The ride home seemed endless. All my worries played on a loop in my head.

My long absence meant I’d disappointed legitimate customers and illegitimate ones as well, and some of the latter dealt with dissatisfaction by eliminating those who’d failed to meet their standards. No matter the pressure to get back to work, I couldn’t bring myself to do anything when I got back except drag my tired body up the stairs to my apartment. I needed a night off. I needed to clear my head and focus on something other than the sense of impending doom breathing down my neck.

And that was how I ended up in bed, watching porn and wishing every younger man I saw was Corbin.

Finally. I gave into the inevitable, closed my computer, and wrapped my right hand around my dick, letting myself indulge in the fantasy I’d thought of over and over, no matter how many times I told myself to stop.

I grabbed Corbin’s arm as he tried to leave the shop, turned him to face me, and gripped his chin, forcing him to keep his eyes on mine.

He struggled against my hold. “Let me go.”

“No. You need to learn how it feels for someone to take charge of you.”

His dark eyes widened. “What are you—”

In my imagination, everything else faded away. We were no longer in the office. We were in my bedroom. I let go of his chin and laid my hands over his shoulders, pushing him until he dropped to his knees.

He looked up at me, all pretense of protest gone. I knew it wouldn’t be that easy in reality, but this was my fantasy. “I expect you to do everything I say. If you’re a good boy, you get to come. Do you understand?”

He licked his lips and nodded as he stared at the floor.

“Look at me.” When he didn’t comply, I fisted my hand in his hair and jerked his head back. He gasped as he met my gaze. “I expect a real answer.”

“Um… Yes, sir.”

“Much better.” I unzipped my pants and pulled out my cock. “Suck me off.”

I felt the tension leave his body at my command.

He wanted this. He wanted someone to tell him what to do, to help him learn to obey.

I groaned as his mouth closed around my cock. He took me deep into his throat and sucked hard. I knew I wouldn’t last long. He was fucking perfect. If he were mine, I would have his mouth every day. I would teach him everything he needed to know about discipline.

My hand moved faster on my cock as I fell deeper into the fantasy. The thought of how Corbin would look on his knees, his plump lips stretched around my shaft as I fucked his mouth was more than I could take.

Seconds later, my climax crashed over me, and I rode out every delicious moment of it, only letting go of my cock when it was too sensitive to bear my strokes anymore. If I came that hard just imagining Corbin, how good would the reality be?

I sighed. It didn’t matter because I was never going to find out.

I got cleaned up and went downstairs to the shop. Just as I started to get to work on one of the many projects that had been put off during my absence, my phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number, and since it was after hours, I didn’t bother to answer it. A little while later, when I took a break to look up a part number, I realized the caller had left a voicemail.

“This is Corbin Theriot. I need some work done quickly, and I’m willing to pay extra. Please call me as soon as you get this.”
