Terra still had her arms crossed over her ample breasts and she looked like she didn’t know what to think of him at this point.
Taurex simply nodded his head at her.
“Think about it,” he murmured. “I’m leaving now.”
Then, though it was the hardest thing he’d ever done, he left the curvy little woman who he was certain was his fated mate standing alone.

TERRA
Terra watched him go, not certain what had just happened.
Had a huge alien Minotaur really just read her mind and offered her a job? Right after making her come?
Well, to be fair it was the buzzing bullet vibrator that had made her come, but something about Taurex had certainly gotten her in the mood–which she never was when she was in the VIP lounge.
Why had she reacted so strongly to him? He claimed he hadn’t been manipulating her mind, but he had known things he never should have been able to know if she hadn’t told him. How could he know about her kids and her mom and the fact that she didn’t really like stripping when she’d only just met him that night?
Put it out of your head, she told herself. You got the money, that’s all that matters. And you never have to see him again.
She reached for the wad of cash on the chair, ignoring the card he’d left behind. Expecting a bunch of ones, she began flipping through the folded bills. What she saw made her eyes go wide.
The wad of folded bills wasn’t ones–it was almost all twenties with a few fifties and even two hundreds thrown in. There wasn’t a single bill lower than a ten.
Terra counted it–then counted again. Two thousand dollars! That was enough to fix her alternator and buy new clothes for the kids. How could the huge Monstrum afford to just give her two thousand dollars like it was nothing?
Maybe she ought to think about his offer of a job after all.
But no…he’d been inside her head. He’d seen her life, and he’d manipulated her sexually somehow. She wasn’t about to give him a chance to do worse.
Still, it’s not like he hurt you, whispered a little voice in her head. Which was true. In fact, she’d never been so turned on in her life. Certainly not with her ex, who couldn’t find her clit with both hands and a map. No man had ever made her come like that and he hadn’t even touched her–well, except to hold her hips as she ground against him.
Just the memory made her blush. She’d gone through the motions with clients so many times before, but it had been different with the big Monstrum. She’d actually felt it–she’d hadn’t been acting for the first time ever. Somehow that was what bothered her the most–she just couldn’t get over it.
She was about to leave the little room when her eye caught on the business card again. Reluctantly, she went over and picked it up. It read simply:
TAUREX
Intergalactic Imports
There was a phone number beneath it that seemed to be local. So he was based in Tampa. But Intergalactic Imports? What was that? What was he importing and where was he importing it from?
Terra had no answers for any of her questions, but she tucked the white business card carefully into her top. She had no intention of calling the number on it or taking the huge Monstrum up on his offer of a job, she told herself.
But it never hurt to be prepared, so she would keep it…just in case.

TERRA
“So?” Candy demanded the minute Terra walked into the dressing room. “Did you take the bull by the horns or what?”
Terra stopped in the act of putting her purse down on the battered vanity counter and gave the younger woman a flat look. She had known the teasing was coming—in fact, she’d been expecting it ever since the night she’d disappeared into the VIP lounge with Taurex—but apparently Candy had been saving up her best material.
“No, I did not ‘take the bull by the horns,’” she said dryly.
“Why not?” Crystal demanded from the other side of the long mirror. She was leaning so close to her reflection that the tip of her nose was almost touching the glass as she carefully glued a strip of thick black false lashes into place. “I would have. I mean, his horns were huge! Do you think they’re sensitive?”
“How would I know?” Terra asked, feeling guilty. She couldn’t help remembering the flash she’d gotten when she touched the big Monstrum’s hand–the image of him kneeling between her thighs and lapping her pussy as she held onto his horns and moaned for him.
“Because you were alone with him for almost an hour!” Candy exclaimed. She was already dressed for her first set in a tiny blue plaid skirt and a white blouse tied beneath her breasts, which made her look like a very naughty schoolgirl. “Come on, Terra—we want details. Did you ride the bull?”
