A sexy smirk slipped across her lips as she moved to all fours. She glanced back over her shoulder, looking at me with wanton eyes and her dark hair cascading over her shoulders.
With her heart-shaped ass facing me, I stepped back over to the edge of the bed and rested my hands on her hips, slamming deep inside her. She immediately dropped to her elbows and let out a loud moan, and I took her harder, faster, forcing her closer to the edge with every thrust.
I continued with a punishing pace, and Rae’s hands curled into the sheets as she braced herself for the next wave that crashed through her body. She lowered her head and let out a needful moan. Knowing she was getting close, I slid my hand around her hip and down between her legs.
No sooner had I brushed the pad of my thumb over her swollen clit, she came unglued. “That’s it, baby. Come for me.”
Her breath quickened as she clamped down around me, making me lose all of my self-control. It was the final push I needed to push her over the edge, pulsing and filling her. I inched in closer, easing her farther onto the bed as I held deep, riding out the final waves of her orgasm.
Having no other choice, I submitted to my own release and drove into her one last time, burying myself deep inside her as I came. I stayed planted inside her for several breaths, just relishing in the sensation of her spasming around me.
Once we’d caught our breath, I withdrew from her, removed my condom, and tossed it in the trash beside the bed. I lay down on the bed next to her, and as soon as I was settled, she curled up next to me, resting her head on my shoulder. The room was cold and dim, and I could feel her heart beating against my chest. I couldn’t imagine anywhere else I’d rather be.
Her breath had already settled back into a steady rhythm, and mine wasn’t far behind. I tucked my arm behind my head as I stared up at the ceiling, trying my best not to overthink things. Sadly, it didn’t work.
It was impossible to shut off the brain when she was curled up next to me, naked and sated. My mind drifted back to all her little whimpers and moans, and how fucking warm and wet she’d been for me. That thought alone had my cock roaring back to life.
She let out a soft sigh, the kind that filled my chest with a sense of contentment I hadn’t felt in years. I was soaking in the feeling when Rae looked over at me and sighed, “Whatcha thinking about over there?”
“You.”
“What about me?”
“Just how incredible you are.”
“So, you don’t think we rushed into things?”
“Maybe.” She let out a little gasp, and before she could respond, I added, “But nothing that feels that fucking right could be wrong.”
The truth of that statement settled heavy in my chest.
I’d gone from avoiding any real contact with anyone to lying in bed next to Rae, talking about the rights and wrongs of us fucking, which wasn’t a conversation I expected to have, especially after how incredible it had been.
I glanced back over at her, and I could see the wheels turning in her head as she stared across the room. Knowing something was still bugging her, I asked, “You got anything else spiraling around in that head of yours?”
“Yes, but I’ll tell you about it later.”
“Ah, no. I’m not letting you get away with that.” I gave her a little nudge. “Spill it.”
“Dan showed up at the house this morning.”
“Okay. What’d he want?”
Her brows furrowed. “To give me a hard time about you.”
Of course he did.
Can’t say I blame him.
I would be curious about me, too, especially since I was screwing the woman he’d let slip through his fingers. I tried to play it cool and kept silent as she went on to tell me, “He was playing the protective father, saying I didn’t really know you. That you could be a criminal or something, and I have you around the boys.”
“I see.”
“But that’s Dan. He likes to think he’s the one in control, but right or wrong, this has nothing to do with him.”
“No, it doesn’t, so why does it bother you?”
“Because he’s right. I really don’t know all that much about you.”
“You might not know everything, but you know more than most.”
That didn’t seem to settle her the way I hoped it might. She looked away and sighed, “Okay.”
“Rae.” She glanced back at me. “If you’ve got something you wanna ask, ask it. I’ll answer if I can.”
She studied me for a second, like she was weighing whether she really wanted to know all the answers. Eventually, she gathered the nerve to ask, “Have you been in jail?”
