I’m feeling good. Last night and this morning was amazing. Watching my girl come in my kitchen was such a turn-on. If I didn’t know I fucked her more times than I should have last night and that Ciarán could return any minute, I would have bent her over and taken her again right then and there.

Her response to my touch is amazing. A smile comes to my lips as she walks up behind me and wraps her arms around me and presses a kiss on my back. Grabbing a chip, I half turn and hold it to her mouth.

She takes it and her eyes light up. I can’t help dipping to peck her lips. Giving her a wink, I then turn to plate her food.

“Tell me more about this beach,” she says as we move to the island for her to sit and eat.

“I’ve been thinking. Ciarán would probably like Coney Island. There are rides and a beach. However, Far Rockaway Beach is a vibe. We could skate and eat and chill.”

“You skate?” She turns to look me up and down.

“Come on. Do I skate? You and I used to skate all the time.”

“Yeah, but you’re like what? Six-six, six-seven or something. I can’t imagine you skating now.”

“I’m six feet, six and a half inches. Two forty-five. I’m not scared of a pair of skates, I know what to do with my body.”

“Yeah, I can’t say you’re lying there.”

I snort and lean over to peck her lips as she chews on her food. She’s so adorable. She has her hair piled on top of her head, showing off her ears and neck.

I reach to rub at the passion mark I left between her neck and shoulder blade as if I can wipe it away. She shrugs against my hand, trapping it in place. I can’t help smiling. She’s ticklish there too.

“Well, to be honest with you, he would love to skate more than he would like the rides. But we don’t have skates,” she says.

“Far Rockaway it is. We’ll get you guys skates.” I wink.

CHAPTER 22

My Protector

Ciara

I have a face-splitting smile on my face as Ciarán downs his hot pretzel then turns and skates off. We’ve been having so much fun. For once, I feel like I’m getting to watch my brother enjoy being a kid.

I’m actually having fun and allowing myself to relax as well. Dylan has been so attentive. He took me and Ciarán to get our own rollerblades. However, Ciarán opted for a new skateboard.

Dylan had his own blades but purchased a board once Ciarán had to have one. The two have been showing off since we got to the boardwalk. It’s so nice here.

I’ve had frozen drinks with plenty of alcohol to mellow me out and some of the most amazing tacos ever. Things have been so chill, with the exception of when I took off my top to reveal the bikini top beneath.

Dylan wasn’t a fan. Taegan left me a cute tank top and a pair of cute shorts that Dylan eyed as if he was going to protest. Instead, he said nothing but has been right on top of me wherever we have gone. I bought the purple swimsuit for myself when we stopped for the skates and boards.

I’ve been skating in the bikini top and shorts. Dylan has been eyeing me with a mix of lust and something else. Possessiveness and something I haven’t pinned down.

I can’t say I don’t understand the feelings. I’ve caught women ogling him all day. Those well-fitting jeans show off his firm ass and thick thighs.

His black T-shirt is tight enough to leave nothing to the imagination. Every muscle, every ab screams, Look at me. They have all been looking while drooling.

“Yo, yo, shortie, hold on,” a guy calls out as I go to skate after my little brother.

“Nah, you good,” Dylan booms as he moves up behind me and places his hands on my waist.

“Oh, that’s you, fam. My bad. She’s a baddie though, you might want to keep that close.”

I snort. “Excuse me?”

“No disrespect. You’re fine as fuck. If he don’t have no hands and he not toting that thing, he better keep you close for when his ass has to run for it,” the guy says and all his friends laugh around him.

“Bro, find something safe to do,” Dylan says.

“Like you gonna cause me problems? Please,” the guy scoffs.

“You’re looking at two sets of registered hands. We got plenty of problems to hand you,” I hiss.

“Son, look at her. I don’t think she’s capping,” one of the others says.

“What about me tells you I’m not holding? Don’t let these gentrified folks get your head blown off,” Dylan bites out. “I wouldn’t even waste my time knocking you the fuck out.”

“Y’all be acting like y’all ain’t never been outside. I told y’all fucking with the white boys out here ain’t it. Ace, you better shut your stupid ass up and let’s go,” one of the others says.
