Finley climbed onto my lap, straddling me. He was wearing a pair of basketball shorts and no shirt. I pushed my hands under the waistband of his shorts and held his ass. “I need to speak with you.”
“That doesn’t sound good at all. Can’t you just fuck my throat or something?”
This bloom of happiness expanded in my chest. Christ, I truly did love him. He made me feel like a different man. “Later, horny boy. This is important. First, did you have fun with Ian today?”
“Yeah, it was nice. We just hung out.”
“Good.” I nodded. “Second…that party David and I discussed is Friday, and I need to know if you want to go and why, so I can make a decision.”
He frowned, which surprised me, as he’d been so eager to go before.
“I love you and you love me, even though the words get stuck more often than not, when I just want to tell you all the time. But…since we both feel that way, I shouldn’t want to go to a play party and…well, whatever would happen there.”
It was a reminder of how green he was, how inexperienced. “There is no shouldn’t. You want what you want. It’s okay if you don’t, but it’s also okay if you do. It’s something we need to talk about together and set rules for, if that’s the case. Like…would you only want others to watch? Would you want me to share you with someone? Would you want to be with someone without me? If so, I would need it to be someone I trusted, like David.”
“What? No, not without you. Never without you. It’s just…” He shook his head. “It feels wrong.”
“Oh, precious boy. You are such a treasure.” I cupped his face. “It’s not wrong unless we decide it’s wrong for us. I know plenty of people who are in loving, committed relationships and who are open, or have rules when they play with others, and I know others who aren’t. All that matters is what is right for us, what you need. I was quick to make a decision without you last time, and that wasn’t fair. Yes, I’m your Dominant, but these are things we should discuss and come to an agreement about.”
I honestly wasn’t sure what I wanted. Did I get a thrill about parading him around as mine? Letting others look or even touch, as long as they knew he belonged to me? Yes. But there was also a part of me that wanted to keep him to myself.
“Do these parties happen often?”
“Fairly, yes. There are a few more coming up.”
“Can we wait for one of those and think about it?”
“That’s a very good idea.” Now for the hard part. “I want to bring up something else, and I want you to know that whatever you decide, I’ll support you. Whatever you need from me, I’ll give you.”
He frowned. “Okay…”
“I wanted to see if you’d like me to do some research into your family, to see if I can find out who your father is or if any family on your mom’s side might be interested in a relationship with you.” I wanted to give him that. If it was something he wanted, I needed him to have it. “But before you answer, I need to make sure you know that no matter what we find, that doesn’t change how remarkable you are and how much I…how much I love you.”
“I love you too, Sir. So much.”
“I know.”
“Do you think you’ll be able to find something?”
“I don’t know. I can’t make any promises, but I can try.”
“What if we find them and they don’t want me?”
“Then that’s their loss. But there’s also the possibility that they do.” I didn’t want him to spend his life alone the way I had, without family, not if there was something I could do about it.
“Yes…but don’t tell me, okay? Don’t tell me if you find anything, unless you talk to them and it’s good news. Otherwise, I’ll keep on pretending they don’t exist.”
I smiled. “Good boy.” Then pulled him forward and kissed him.
CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
Finley
“Holy fuck. I can’t believe this is your house,” Jordan said as he stood on the porch. My stomach was a little woozy because this was so damn new for me. I just wanted it to go well, and I’d had no idea how much until I was getting ready for today.
“This is Aidan’s house. I’m just lucky enough to live here. Come in.” He did, and I closed the door behind him.
“I think I misjudged you, dear, sweet Finley. Do you have a sugar daddy?”
My eyes snapped to his. “What? No. It’s not like that.” Or maybe it was? No, Aidan paid me, but I worked for him. I’d worked for him before there was anything sexual between us.
