“Aidan?”

“Tomorrow,” was all he said, so I did as told and went to sleep.

I’d hardly woken up the next morning, only having gone to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, when Aidan said, “Lie across the bed and don’t come, no matter what I do.”

I trembled, pulling out of my clothes, folding them and setting them on the chair. My blood was rushing, my heart thudding, and I already felt like I could cry…or come, or both.

I lay over the bed, and Aidan returned with a belt.

“Oh God,” I rushed out.

“Did you know you should have told me about your plans last night?”

“Yes, Sir,” I admitted, because I had.

“And you chose not to?”

“Yes, Sir. I’m sorry.”

“I would have allowed it, Fin.”

Fin. I loved it when he called me Fin. He didn’t do it often, but I couldn’t even appreciate it at the moment because I was filled with disappointment in myself. I’d let him down. I’d known I should tell him, and I hadn’t because…because I’d wanted to prove I didn’t have to when I really needed to, and not just for Aidan, but for myself. “I’m sorry,” I said again, and I was.

“I know, but that doesn’t change what happened.” The belt flew through the air and landed harshly on my ass. Pain burst through me, sharp and intense. “Count.”

“One,” I replied, and then a second biting snap landed against my skin. “Two!”

One after another, Aidan spanked me. The burn was overwhelming, and I lost track of time, even though I knew it wasn’t much of it that had passed. Tears blurred my eyes, but I was centered too, grounded in him and in this moment, in myself and the world in a way only Aidan could give me…and I still continued to count.

My dick was hard again. I didn’t think twice about the fact that getting whipped with a belt did that to me. It was just who I was. And I wouldn’t allow myself to come and disappoint him again.

Suddenly the belt dropped to the floor. I knew in the back of my mind that Aidan was grabbing the lube, and then his wet cock pushed inside me, and yes, oh God yes, I loved it when he filled me, when he made me real. That’s what it felt like—Aidan making me real.

My hands fisted into the blanket as he fucked into me.

“Don’t come.”

“I won’t, Sir,” I managed to reply.

My dick was aching, and I worried it might kill me not to have an orgasm.

His body slapped against mine as he took me roughly and completely and…beautifully. Then his teeth bit into my shoulder and his dick spasmed inside me as he shot, filling me with his load.

Then I was empty, unbearably empty. Aidan’s arms were around me, and he was lifting me, situating me in the bed, rubbing cream into my ass, then holding me. Kissing me and wiping my tears.

“I’m sorry.”

“Shh. It’s okay. It’s over now.” He kissed my head.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

We lay there together for who knew how long, Aidan holding me. Eventually, he said, “You liked that…performing for them.”

“I did. It made me feel…even more owned by you. Like I was this treasure other people wanted but couldn’t have because I so fully belong to you.”

Aidan was quiet for a moment. “We’ll go to the next party. You’ll be on my leash. Others can look but can’t touch. They’ll see you and want you, but they’ll know you’re mine.”

“Thank you!” I kissed his chest, because oh yes, I wanted that. I hadn’t known it until last night, but I did.

“You have nothing to thank me for,” he replied, then chuckled. “I think Jordan is curious.”

“I think so too.” I snuggled into him, licked the sweat on his arm.

“I hope you have a hangover, you naughty boy,” Aidan teased, and I laughed. God, he was perfect. He was everything.

“I love you.”

Aidan replied with a kiss that stole my breath, that I felt in every part of my body.

CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT

Aidan

I couldn’t stop staring at the information in front of me.

Finley had given me everything he could on his family—mom’s full name, date of birth, where she’d been born.

They were from a small town outside of Houston, where they loved God and football over everything else—his own family even more than their daughter or her son, apparently.

I hated this, hated not knowing what would happen and having no control over it. This could very easily devastate him, but it could also give him a piece of himself that he’d always felt was missing. It could give him family.

But I had hope too. Years changed people sometimes, and sometimes things just weren’t what they seemed. The aunt, whom I’d been able to find after discovering his grandparents passed, had only been ten when Finley was born. Who knew how the woman would feel about him?
