The growl that ripped from me was so explosive it was a wonder the walls of the building didn’t crumble.
A wonder every person there didn’t scatter to take cover.
“Believe me, baby. You don’t want what I have to offer,” I warned.
“You’re wrong. I think I want to experience every single thing that you are.”
“You don’t know what you’re asking.”
She lifted that brazen face. “I don’t care.”
“You’d care when you found out the depths of my depravity. You’d care when I left you mangled and broken.”
I already promised her that I would.
“Now I want you to take my little sister and go back to the house where you belong.” I breathed it a little too close to her mouth, my cock straining so hard in my jeans there was no chance she didn’t feel it begging at her belly.
A shiver rolled down her spine.
A shiver that raced up my arm, my palm still firmly pressed to that sweet spot, a fiend who kept her locked tight against me after I just told her to get lost.
She curled closer like she had no intention of listening, and I rumbled, “That’s an order.”
I forced myself to release her.
Brinley stumbled back a step, expression full of a scoff and disbelief.
She cocked her head.
Sheer provocation.
“You know,” she drew out like she was musing it. “I think I’ll stick around and see if anyone else is interested.”
Then she turned on those heels and strutted her way back into the melee, like there was a chance she belonged in the middle of it.
It was not going to fucking happen.
I was on her tail, shoving through the crowd. Surprise choked out of her when I grabbed her by the hand and spun her around.
Her entire being morphed into victorious glee, no doubt thinking she’d won some sort of seductress medal.
Then she squealed in shock when I had her off her feet and tossed over my shoulder before she knew what hit her.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she rasped, frantic hands trying to grip onto the rigid leather of my cut but never finding purchase.
There was no need for her to hang on since there was no chance I was letting her go.
I prowled toward the main door.
Didn’t give a fuck that every eye in the bar swung in our direction, that one action lifting a ramble of speculation. Their mouths wagging with the rumors that were going to fly.
There weren’t a whole lot of shits to give when Trevan gave me that look, either.
Smirk seated firmly on his face.
I told you so.
I didn’t give a fuck about much of anything except giving this girl a little of what she was asking for.
THIRTY-TWO
SILAS
“What do you think you’re doing? Silas, put me down.”
Brinley squirmed as I stormed with her out into the babbling night. My boots ate up the ground as I hooked a quick left to carry her into the dense cover of trees that separated the club from my house.
Some speck of my conscience screamed to set her onto her feet and send her on her way.
But something else was screaming so much louder. “No.”
Her body jostled and bounced as I stalked through the shadows, a cataclysm of greed and stupidity rushing my steps.
“I’m not some little girl you need to lock up and hide away behind a closed door.” Coarse, jagged words rushed from Brinley.
“No, you aren’t, are you?”
Her ass was in the air, that short, flowy skirt blowing up in the breeze and exposing the perfect round globes of her butt cheeks.
So ripe and juicy and right at the side of my face that it took everything I had not to turn my head and take a bite.
Instead, I sank the fingers of my free hand into one curvy mound.
Palming and kneading.
A gasp rocked from her. In an instant, I could scent her arousal soaking her through, a shockwave of her blistering through my body and ratcheting the lust gripping my guts.
“This what you want, Brinley? You want a little of what I have to give?” I growled it.
“I…what are you doing? Silas.” It was confusion spiked with need.
“Say it,” I demanded. “Do you want it?”
“Yes.”
That was all I needed to hear.
I increased my pace, boots a thunder as I carried her through the woods.
Her little breaths hitting the air and driving the madness higher.
Each step amping the anticipation as I hauled her toward the house.
I didn’t pause or set her down when I climbed the porch steps, and there was no wavering or faltering as I ferried her through the wispy darkness of the living room and up the stairs to my room.
I just marched forward on a full-scale suicide mission.
Her rasps and pants spurring me forward.
I clicked the door shut behind us before I edged through the shadows that crawled the walls of my room.
