I stilled.

Nearly two years ago, seven men had come into the Dixie Wardens MC as wanted men. Their names had been erased. Their identities had been created. And every single one of them had come from a prison cell that they’d broken out of.

According to the world, those men were dead.

I’d never shared with Juliana about those men.

But seven men showing up acting like they’d always been there? That would be suspicious for a wife that had a head on her shoulders.

When she was mine, I’d never worried about her questioning things.

But now that she wasn’t…

I realized my mistake.

I’d let myself get comfortable thinking that Juliana wouldn’t spill her secrets.

But there was one man on this earth that I knew she’d fear above all others.

He’d given her the creeps from the moment that she’d met the nationwide club president for the Dixie Wardens.

I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

“Yeah?” the man grumbled.

“Silas,” I said quietly. “I think I need your help.”

Silas Mackenzie had taken over as the Dixie Wardens MC national club president a couple of years ago from the last president that’d died while on a poker run. From the moment he’d taken the mantle, he’d made it a priority to meet every club member that there ever was. He even visited each club at least once a year so any new club members knew who to be afraid of.

“What’s going on?” Silas asked.

I walked away from my ex-wife, who’d paled to a ghostly white.

I explained everything that’d happened in my life back at my seat. Not leaving anything out.

“I’ll come up,” he sighed. “I’ve been dying to get back up there. And my wife’ll love visiting the mountains again. She’s jealous every time we come up there.”

“Thanks, man,” I said. “I’m sorry to even bring you into this, but you’ve always scared the piss out of her. Short of killing her, which I won’t do because she’s the mother of my children, I don’t have any other options.”

Silas chuckled. “Don’t sweat it.” He paused. “And I know why I scare her.”

I blinked. “What’d you do?”

“What any national president of the Dixie Wardens Motorcycle Club should do. Protect its own.”

With that, he hung up, leaving me to once again look at Holly.

Holly peeled away from the women then, leaving while miming getting a drink.

When she got to the table, she reached for the water glass that was sitting next to me. To do it, she had to lean her delicious body over mine.

Her perfect little tit pressed against the side of my face, and I couldn’t stop myself from biting down lightly on her perfectly pebbled nipple.

She squeaked, and cold water splashed onto my arm.

Worth it.

“Denver!” she gasped, looking around.

Plenty of people were looking.

And when I say plenty, I meant the whole damn town and half of the club.

We were at Hopps.

Everyone and their brother went to Hopps.

Because there was literally nowhere else to go unless you wanted to go to Toot Toot’s who didn’t allow loud music or dancing.

“Do you have a hair tie in those deep pockets of yours?” she asked after drinking deeply.

Funny enough…

I pulled out a hair tie from my pocket.

Catalina had given it to me earlier when she’d asked me to braid her hair for school.

When I held out the black tie to her, she gasped and grinned. “Thanks!”

She bent over in front of me and threw her hair over, slicking it into a ponytail while still upside down.

I watched the play of her ass. The way the denim cupped her perfect pussy.

And decided that I’d been waiting too long since I’d last had her.

My hand went to her thigh and smoothed upward, finding the seat of her jeans and pressing lightly.

She flipped her hair back over and stood, looking at me over her shoulder with heated eyes.

When she had her hair tied up, a long ponytail going straight down her back, I decided that I had to have her.

Standing up, I took the water glass from her hand and downed it. Once it was finished, I set it on the table and grabbed her hand.

Guiding her through the tables, I didn’t miss the taunts and cheers as we passed the men.

I didn’t go far out of the room. Just inside the hallway and turning the corner to the alcove that led to Hopps’s office.

I’d go into Hopps’s office, but the last man in the club that’d tried to do that had gotten his face punched.

Hopps didn’t like his office smelling like sex.

Especially when he was on a self-imposed sex hiatus.

Before I’d even gotten her into that cove, Holly was turning around and shoving down her jeans.

I growled, “Holly.”

“Hurry,” she begged. “I’ve been thinking about you for the last hour. I’m so wet.”

That was all my dick, or I needed to hear.

When her jeans were far enough down, she bent forward and pressed her ass back against me.
