The sensations were too much—I couldn’t tell one from the other. I just knew that every muscle in my body was quaking as I cried out again and again.
My body writhed and thrashed, but they held me in place and kept me from exploding into a million little pieces.
Gasping for air, I let the sensations roll over me. I didn’t have to think. I didn’t have to react. I could just feel and enjoy the amazing pleasure they’d given me.
It felt like I was floating above the bed again, unanchored for a very long time. I was only vaguely aware of my surroundings. There were light touches, cradling me and wiping the sweat off my forehead. And there were deep voices saying reassuring things.
For a long while, I just stayed there with my eyes closed, breathing slowly and trying to get my bearings. My body felt heavy and loose, like all the tension had been wrung out of it. Somewhere in that haze, I felt a hand smoothing my hair back, another brushing along my arm, and a warm palm resting over my hip—steady, grounding touches that made it easier to come back.
When I finally opened my eyes, all three of them were close, their faces soft in the dim light. Diego’s thumb traced lazy circles over my arm. Aaron gave me a warm, knowing smile, as if he knew this experience tonight had vastly outstripped anything else I’d ever felt in my life. And Cody… he didn’t say anything, he just pulled the blanket higher over me and tucked me in against his side like I might get cold.
All three were touching me gently, all three smiling.
It took me three attempts to speak. “Wow.” My voice was hoarse.
“Welcome back,” Diego said. He had his pajama pants back on—they all did—and didn’t look as if he’d just spent an unknown quantity of time completely out of it like I had.
“You okay?” Cody asked quietly.
I thought it over and then nodded, giving a small smile of my own.
“She was more than okay,” Aaron said, then he addressed me. “You were amazing. A fucking goddess, Mia.”
Diego’s voice was warm and certain as he patted my arm. “She was a wild woman. And brave.” His face cracked into a grin. “I knew that the first time you climbed right up that tree during the scavenger hunt.”
“Very brave,” Cody echoed. He planted a kiss on his index and middle fingers and then pressed them against my lips. The warmth from them was comforting. Then he continued. “This was the best Team Mia meeting ever.”
That cleared the final bit of the haze I was in, and we all laughed. I couldn’t help reaching for them, hugging everyone I encountered.
I was surrounded by men I was crazy about, my body loose and spent. I gave myself permission to just lie back and enjoy the sensation of being held.
Being wanted, being cherished like this… it was the best feeling in the world.

MIA
I woke feeling warm. Sore. A little squished—and unbelievably content. The firm, muscled chest I was nestled up against was Aaron’s. My hair spilled over his shoulder, and I could hear his deep breathing as his chest rose and fell steadily. He was still asleep.
I ran my fingers lightly over the planes of his abs. It seemed too good to be true that I got to cuddle up with a man like this. To touch and be touched by him.
There was another warm presence at my back. I could tell by the arm flung over my hip that it was Diego. I felt cocooned in the best possible way, except there was one person absent. Lifting my head carefully so as not to disturb anyone, I spotted Cody on the far side of Aaron.
He was on his back, his eyes open and staring up at the ceiling. His head was bobbing up and down to a silent beat. He was either playing music in his head or perhaps creating it.
“Hey,” I whispered softly.
He looked over, blinked twice, and then gave a slow smile that made my heart skip a beat. I hoped that the smile I returned was a fraction as warm and welcoming as his was.
I wished I were touching him too, but he was in his happy place with music. And I hoped his happy place also included being in this bed with me, with us—because mine sure as hell did.
Warm lips nuzzled my neck from behind. Diego was waking up. I could almost feel his grogginess behind me. I could also feel the way his muscles clenched as he rejoined the world, and as he slid his hand down my stomach, holding me tighter.
I’d never really appreciated the spoon position, but now I did. It just felt so good to be in alignment with someone else—his knees behind mine, his thighs behind mine, his chest behind my back.
