Grace reached between us, pulled my cock free from my shorts, and slid down my shaft.

"God, woman. You're perfect."

"Thank you. You're not so bad yourself, my sexy man."

"Are you going to come for me, Grace? Are you going to wrap those tight walls around my cock, milking my seed into you?"

"You know I am. Fuck." She grabbed the back of my head and bounced up and down, clenching and relaxing with every full pass. I could feel her pussy getting ready to come all over me.

Shit. We were going to be late.

Chapter 13

Ghost

Since we were the last two to arrive, everyone was waiting in the room for us. I sent Grace into the room with the other ladies to hang out and be protected. “Protect her as if your life depends on it—because it does,” I warned the prospects watching the door.

Turning to her, I growled, “Lips,” tapping mine. She reached up and pressed her lips to mine for a quick peck, and then I was off to meet the guys for Church.

Stepping into the room, I was greeted with a round of applause.

“About damn time,” Law said, teasing while he reached out to hand me a beer.

Beast grabbed the bottle and asked, “Wait. Are you on some strong meds?”

“No, just some over-the-counter bullshit.” He let it go and smiled. “Good. Can’t have something happening to you after all you’ve been through.”

“What happened to you, and whose head needs to be removed from their body?” Cowboy asked as we all sat around the long table in Church. All of our women were being watched in the other room by the prospects while we discussed the matter. None of us felt safe leaving them at home.

“I was forced to do an undercover assignment to infiltrate the Villanueva Cartel out of McAllen. I managed to work my way in there, but it was too damn easy. I thought it was because Mac vouched for me, but he was the one who blew my cover. From the start, they knew who I was and strung me along to get the ATF off of them. Just as I rounded up enough evidence to nail them to the fucking wall, I was struck from behind and then beaten before they tossed me into the ocean.”

“Fucking bastards. We’ll return the favor.” Blade rubbed his hands together, eager for retribution like the rest of us.

“That’s the thing. I wonder if it was just Mac who flipped, or was he just the tip of the iceberg?”

“You think the agency set you up?”

“I don’t know. I don’t want to believe it. For now I want my revenge on the cartel, but even if they wanted me back, I’m done with the agency. First, though, how secure and ready for war are we?”

“We have a new arsenal. The news of your death amplified our need to be prepared for the war we were going to be entering. With the cartels knocking on Steeleville’s door, we had to be prepared.”

“Good. I want to wait another week before I make contact with my CO. Cyber, can you dig into the records of the agents in my headquarters?”

“All of them?”

“Yes.”

“Sure thing.”

“I want to know if someone has earned private income by making back-alley deals with the devils.”

“Got it. Although, I don’t think you should move until it’s complete. I don’t want anyone to run before we can find them. We don’t know who’s involved.”

Everyone around the room nodded in unison. “That’s right. I need recon on the cartel. We will take out their guys that attacked you one by one,” Boomer added. Most of us could kill without flinching. I’d had enough of playing on the right side of the law. We needed to act accordingly to protect our families and Steeleville.

“Hey, Rico. If you want to join our police department here, I could use another deputy,” Law said. I smirked, needing to tell him that my past was left back in the ocean. I was a different man and needed a whole new name.

“It’s actually Ghost now, and that sounds like a great fucking idea.” I’d rather work here than with people I couldn’t trust.

“And your woman could work at the clinic until the hospital’s built. We’re in the middle of the planning stage,” Doc said. He would love having a qualified doctor on his team, and she was more than qualified.

“That’s fucking incredible. I’m sure she’d love it.” She revealed that she wasn’t too fond of the ER anymore, so perhaps the clinic would make her happier.

“Good. Now, if you all wouldn’t mind, I have to take my very pregnant wife home,” Boomer interjected.

“Great. Thanks, brothers. I couldn’t do this on my own.”

“And you’ll never have to. We’re so fucking happy that you’re back from the dead,” Beast said, wrapping me up in another hug.
