“We called you guys about a hundred times, and neither of you answered when I pounded on your door. Because I’m a responsible friend and wanted to make sure you weren’t dead, I went to the front desk and told them I’d lost my room card. They really should ask for ID.”

I reach for my phone and find that, yeah, Jacobs has tried to call a fair few times. In my defense, coming my brains out really took it out of me. Then I catch sight of the time. “Shit, we’re going to be late.”

I scramble out of bed, thankful I put on briefs last night, and go to grab some clothes. I’m torn between taking a shower and being late, or just getting dressed.

“Unless you want to see morning wood that will put your boyfriend to shame, you might wanna get out of our room.” Richie’s words make me freeze as I remember that he didn’t put anything on last night. A flush passes over me.

“I’ve seen your dick a thousand times,” Beck says. “It’s nothing to brag about.”

And given how closely I’ve inspected said dick, I have to disagree.

Instead of being embarrassed by how Beck found us this morning, Richie smiles. “Should I tell Jacobs you’ve been checking out my junk?”

“Please do. My boyfriend is a possessive motherfucker. He’ll tear it right off.”

“We’re already running late,” I point out. “Go away so we can get ready.”

Beck heads for the door. “If you’re not in the lobby in fifteen, we’re leaving without you.”

“Noted,” I answer dryly, though inside I’m disappointed I’m not going to be able to help Richie out with his morning boner.

As soon as the door clicks closed, Richie throws off the covers, gets up, and stalks toward me. My gaze immediately drops to where his cock is bobbing in front of him, and yep. That’s definitely worth bragging over.

“Good morning.” His lips graze mine, and I want to push him back on the bed and crawl into his arms for the rest of the day. “Is this okay?”

I answer him by kissing him deeper.

Richie chuckles against my lips. “I want you to know that even though last night happened, it doesn’t have to again. Not unless you want it.”

“You’re treating me with kid gloves again.”

“Nope.” He eases back. “I hate playing guessing games. I suck at them. So even if it annoys you, I have to ask, because I’m an affectionate person—how much is too much?”

“With you, too much isn’t possible.” At his confused expression, I elaborate. “It takes me longer than most people for the attraction to click. But once it does …” I hesitate, unsure how much to explain. “Let’s just say I’m really struggling to keep my hands off you.”

His smile is wide as he ducks his head and claims my mouth with his. I return the kiss for all of a second, before the anxiety of running late squirms down my spine.

“I’m so annoyed we slept in.”

“Me too.” He drags his leaking dick over my stomach.

My pulse kicks up a notch at the thought of making him feel good, of demanding he sit back on the bed and let me take care of his problem. Instead, I adult. “Time to get dressed.”

Richie reluctantly separates from me, making his way to his bag. “Are we keeping this quiet today?”

“Yep. We don’t want a million questions we’re not ready to answer. How long has this been going on? Seth, I thought you were straight? Cohen, have your existential bisexual crisis with someone else’s brother. Is this like a fluid situation? No other options, so you just did each other?”

“That last one was totally Beck, am I right?”

“What do you think the chances are of him keeping what he saw quiet?” I ask.

“Next to zero, but the good thing is, I don’t think Beck realized what he actually saw. I might be the dumb, oblivious one, but Beck’s so egotistical he doesn’t notice anything going on past his own nose. We can laugh it off.”

Thank God for that.

We dress quickly and make it to the lobby just in time.

We’re meeting Foster and Zach at a Thai restaurant in Gay Village, and they’re already there waiting when we arrive. Unsurprising since we’re half an hour late.

“This is different,” Foster says to me as I take the spare seat next to Zach.

“Slept in.” And also, don’t ask. Because the last thing I want to get into is how Beck found us this morning. Yes, we’ll play it off, like Richie said, but I’d prefer not to lie if we don’t have to.

Lunch is delicious, and somehow I manage to get through it without eye fucking the hell out of Richie every time I glance in his direction. He’s wearing another button-up that stretches over his biceps and shoulders, and I let my gaze linger now that I know who he is.
