“Should I?” I whisper.

“No, today was about you, sweets. About showing you that I mean you no harm, that I can make you feel good, and proving that you can trust me. I will move heaven and hell before I let someone hurt you, including myself.”

His words wrap around me and fill my chest with a warm and fuzzy feeling that I haven’t felt in a very long time.

Miles

Seeing her walk around in nothing but my clothes on her body has me brimming with both possessive need and nasty jealousy. I love how my oversized shirt fits on her small frame, and how she wraps her slender arms around herself like she is cuddling into the fabric. What I don’t enjoy is every time one of my male staff looks at her bare legs or her nipples pebbling against the fabric.

I need to get her some clothes, preferably some that cover up her entire body.

Quickly, I lead her to the dining room and away from all male eyes. I pull out a chair for her, and she sits down, whispering a quiet thank you.

Before I even sit down on my own chair, Margot, my personal chef, walks into the room.

“Morning, sir, Nick informed me that you had a guest,” Margot announces, glancing down to where Rose is sitting. “I’m preparing breakfast for two. It will be out in three minutes.”

“Perfect. Margot, this is Rose,” I introduce them. “She lives here with me now. So, from now on, you will have to prepare meals for two people. Of course, I will raise your pay accordingly.”

“Oh…” Margot looks at me a little confused. “Thank you.”

“Rose, is there anything you don’t like or are allergic to?”

“No, I’m not picky. I’m sure I’ll love everything you cook. It already smells delicious,” Rose tells Margot, whose face lights up with pride and gratitude.

“Thank you.” Margot beams before disappearing back into the kitchen.

“Good, you already get along with the staff,” I praise Rose, loving how perfectly she fits into my life in every way.

“Do you really mean it? I can stay with you here?”

“You just don’t believe anything I say, do you?”

“Trust me, I want to believe it. But usually, when something sounds too good to be true, it’s because it’s not true. Yesterday I didn’t have a home and today, I’m in a mansion, sleeping on satin sheets and having breakfast cooked for me. You have to admit, that’s kind of crazy. It sounds like a fairytale, not my reality.”

“It might sound like a fairytale, but I can assure you, it’s not. This is real, and I’m definitely no prince charming.”

Our conversation is interrupted by the door swinging open and Margot, plus one of the maids, entering. Each carrying multiple plates with an assortment of foods, which they place in front of Rose and myself.

“Thank you,” Rose tells them loudly before they turn and leave us alone again.

“Eat whatever you like,” I tell her, and she starts eating one of the pancakes. Judging by the size of bites she is taking, she must have been starving.

I start eating as well, while watching her eat, taking in every one of her movements. Everything she does interests and excites me, even something as simple as eating. I pay close attention to her lips; the way they wrap around the fork every time she takes a bite.

My cock is painfully hard inside my jeans, and I know I need to jerk off sooner rather than later, or my balls are going to combust.

She only eats one pancake and a handful of fruit, which I don’t find sufficient at all, not with her being as tiny as she is.

“You should eat some more, at least finish what’s on your plate.” I try not to sound like a parent who is making her finish her food, but I want her to be healthy. She is so skinny. Too skinny, and I want her to fucking eat more.

“Okay,” she agrees without questioning me, piercing another piece of pancake with her fork. “I’m just not used to eating this much, but I’ll try to get used to it. Thank you for this. All of it.” Her eyes find mine, and I can see the sincerity in those baby blues.

“Anything for you,” I tell her. “Once you’re done eating, I’ll show you the rest of the house. Your new home.”

Rose

Your new home. I still can’t believe it. But here I am, walking through the large, never-ending halls. The carpet is soft and plush under my bare feet, and Miles’s shirt covers me like a dress as he leads me through the entire house.

“You can go wherever you like within these walls, I have no secrets from you, but you will not leave this house without me, do you understand?”

“Yes,” I agree. From what I know of the world without him, I don’t ever want to go anywhere by myself.
