I was already fully committed to going all the way with him, and this only reaffirms my decision.

“I love you,” I tell him, resting my hands on top of his. “And I want this, with you and only you.”

“I love you, too, Pip. I—”

“Then show me. Show me with your body just how much you love me.”

I expect him to take charge, to lay me down and for him to fit himself between my legs so he can make love to me.

But that isn’t what happens—at all.

Instead, he reclines back against the mound of pillows, a teasing sort of smile curling his lips. “Straddle me.”

“What?” I nearly choke on the word. Isn’t basic missionary the go-to as far as first times go?

Me being on top sort of feels like skipping training wheels in favor of a trick bike. Which is worrisome, seeing as I don’t know how to ride anything—a bike or a dick.

“You heard me. We’ll take this one step at a time.” He taps his lower abdomen. “Now, come sit right here and kiss me.”

One step at a time. I can do this.

I straddle him, sliding over his still-hard dick as I make my way to where he wants me. We both hiss at the contact. He’s so big, I’m honestly not sure how he’ll freaking fit.

“Good girl, Pip. You’re doing so fucking good,” he says, once I’m sitting on top of him. “Now brace your hands on my shoulders and put your mouth on mine.”

This time, I don’t hesitate. And neither does he. Our kiss goes from smoldering embers to a raging inferno just like that. We’re a flurry of lips and teeth and tongues, feeding off one another’s desire.

We kiss and kiss and kiss, until finally, the need to breathe causes us to break apart.

“I… I want you inside of me.” Flames lick my cheeks, burning me from the inside out. I literally can’t believe I just said that.

But Atlas’s answering grin chases any doubts away. “What am I going to do with you? I don’t know what’s hotter—your lips wrapped around my cock or hearing you tell me exactly what you want.”

“I just want you, Atlas.” I rock forward and cover his lips with mine, speaking my next words directly against them. “I want you, all of you, any and every way I can have you.”

It might be my imagination, but I swear, I feel his dick sort of jump against my thigh.

“I’m yours, Pip. In every way.” He reaches between us, taking himself into his hand. “I’m completely clean, but if you want me to wear a condom, I will.”

Oh, God. Protection never even crossed my mind. Not even once.

“Um.” I swallow and look down to where he’s poised nearly at my entrance. “No, we’re, well—you’re good.” I shrug. “It’s not like I can get pregnant.”

The mood lightens as we both laugh.

“You’re something else, Pip.” Atlas darts forward, stealing a kiss. But once we lock eyes again, he’s all business. “I’m going to use lube because it’s your first time. If you reach over and open the nightstand drawer, you’ll find a bottle. It has a gold cap.”

My insides feel like they’re in a blender, sloshing and mixing all around as I reach to retrieve the lube.

“Open it and squirt a little into the palm of my hand.”

With shaking hands, I do as he says. My mouth feels like it’s full of cotton as I watch him coat himself with the clear liquid.

“Now, I want you to spread yourself and then lower down onto me. It’s probably going to hurt at first, Pip, but I’ll do everything I can to ease the pain.”

My heart is thrashing in my chest, slamming violently against my ribs, as if it’s trying to break out of its cage and flee. It’s fight or flight on steroids. Luckily, my trust in Atlas is stronger than my fear.

I’m safe, I’m safe, I’m safe. I chant the words inside of my head like a mantra as I spread my lips and line myself up with the head of his dick.

“You’re doing so good,” Atlas praises, his free hand roaming all over my body, offering soft touches that help ease some of my worry. “When you’re ready, sink down onto me. Go as slow or fast as you want. We have all night, pretty girl.”

For several long minutes, I’m a statue, barely even breathing I’m so still. Even my heart rate slows as I hover above him, fighting off memories of the last time someone was inside of me.

This is different, I reason with myself. He’s different. He loves you and even if you got up and walked away now, he’d be okay with it.

“You’re so perfect, Pip. Perfect for me. Whether we do this now or a year from now, I’ll love you.”
