“Oh yes. Sorry, girls. We have to get going. We’ll see you in a couple of months, but Gabriel will be around occasionally to look after my cat.”

“Well then we’ll be seeing you, Mr. Bellamy.” She winks at me this time, dragging my temptation that I plan to avoid. I nod, ignoring the pain in my chest when she strolls away. Her tight ass moving away from me, swaying in a pair of tiny shorts that hide nothing of her young figure that’s ripe to be touched, fucked, worshipped.

Growling to myself, I look at my mother and her husband because I can’t stare at her a minute longer or I’ll forget all my damn sanity. “Are we ready?” I snarl, letting my tightly wound body speak for me.

My mom jabs her finger in my chest. “You know…don’t go making enemies with my neighbors, you hear? They are nice people even if the parents are a bit eccentric. And that nice girl just thinks you’re cute, then again, what red-blooded woman wouldn’t. I think you take after my father. Handsome as the devil.”

“Yes, mom. I’m not going to be rude. Still good looks or not that brunette one was flirting with me and they’re kids.”

“He’s got a point, sweetheart.” He looks down at his watch and then adds, “And he’s also right about the time. We have to get a move on.” He pats my mom’s backside, shooing her toward the car. Doing my best to ignore the sweet kiss they share after she scolds him for spanking her in front of me, I take the last suitcase and set it in the trunk. With all the strength in me, I refuse to look back because she’s just too young for me and I’m only here to watch Felix, my mom’s loveable gray cat, a couple days a week.

The miles between Cat and I seem to dull the lust that she sent flaming through me until my mother opens her mouth. “So when am I going to be expecting some grandbabies?” My fingers flex violently around the steering wheel as I try to control the raging hormones flooding through me and straight to my baby maker.

“Mom, are you serious? I don’t have a girlfriend or anyone I want to have a baby with.” The words leave my mind and then a pretty blonde slides into my thoughts with a swollen belly. I shake my head, pretending that I’m annoyed instead of aroused.

“Leave him alone, dear. I’m sure he’ll find the right woman in time,” he remarks. “He might find her before he knows it.” He winks at me as if he’s reading my damn mind. Am I that obvious?

We arrive at the airport about two hours before their flight, so they can check in. I unload their suitcases onto a cart before giving my mother a hug and then I give my stepfather a handshake. He pulls me in and whispers, “Be careful. Catherine has an older brother and she is just eighteen.”

“Thanks.” I nod and wave them off before they head through the sliding doors. They have to catch a flight that will take them to the ocean liner. My ride back to the condo is a long one. By the time I get there, I’ve decided her kitty needs to be monitored and I’m not talking about my mother’s cat.

I pack a bag and decide that spending the next few nights won’t be bad. I might want to meet Cat’s parents and see if she has boys coming in and out of that house that I need to send running. Teenage shithead boys must flock to her and that other one who looks like a total menace. She screams fucking trouble.

When I arrive back at my mother’s house it’s nearly all dark next door except the bedroom directly across from my old one. It’s already late so I climb up to my room and open the door. It’s like I remember it, but my mother washed the sheets since the last time I stayed over. Goodness that’s been almost a year. The beauty definitely didn’t live here then unless someone hid that creature from me, then again, she’s just a baby. I have to remind myself that her luscious lips and taut figure aren’t for me. Even if I want to pull her body into my arms and bite down on her soft skin.

Chapter Two

Catherine

It’s day two and I can barely breathe. Yesterday, Mr. Bellamy had his back to me, my heart shot ramrod into my chest and then he had to turn around and my knees nearly buckled. I’m grateful for Charlie’s insanely easygoing nature to hold me steady as Mrs. Becker introduced her son. He clearly didn’t care for us, or maybe he’d been too busy. I didn’t make a good impression, nervously blushing and hiding my face, but today’s different, or so I tell myself. My best friend, Charlotte decided to stay the night, so she’s enjoying the spectacle that’s my first real crush.
