“It’s okay to admit it, Jared. There’s nothing wrong with it and I’ll tell you something too…I need those things. I need to take care of someone else. To control them.”

“You do?” I asked and then shook my head. “No. This is crazy. This is wrong. This isn’t me.” I didn’t need those things. I’d always taken care of myself because I’d had no one who cared enough to do it. My parents were out of it and then they were gone—dead or out of my life. I was strong. I didn’t need what Kieran spoke of.

“I know it’s a lot to take in, but think about it. Think about how you felt when you checked items off my list today? The list I made for you, made for you to take care of us. Think about how you felt when you cooked our dinner. When I told you what time to be here every day. Did it feel good?” he asked.

“Yes.” I couldn’t lie, but I couldn’t believe it either. I could hardly say the simple word through my tears.

“It felt right, didn’t it?” I nodded and he added, “No. That’s not good enough. I need to hear you say the word.”

“Yes,” I said and then broke into tears again.

“Shh. It’s okay. I’m here. And I have a job for you, okay? I wrote down a website and I want you to spend your evenings going through it for the next few days. I want you to go to bed at nine every night because you’re going to be emotionally spent and will need the rest. I want you to eat breakfast each morning and lunch while you’re at work. I want you to have dinner every night at seven and then I want you to read what I tell you to read until nine. Do you understand?” he asked.

A soft buzz hummed through my body. A vibration that spread through me. My mind warred with saying yes and no, with the feeling that this was both wrong and right, until I closed my eyes and just let whatever would be come out. “Yes. I understand.”

“That’s a good boy, Jared. I want you to pay close attention to a few things for me, okay? Things I like and I want to know how they make you feel.”

“Okay,” I replied.

“I want you to pay close attention to Daddy play, for me. No age play. I’ll call you my good boy, but you’re a man, and that’s what I want.”

“Okay,” I said again.

“Also, domestic discipline and total power exchange. It’ll also be called TPE. It doesn’t have to be twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Those things can be negotiated.”

Total power exchange? He wanted complete power over me? To discipline me?

Nerves shot through me making me tremble but I didn’t move.

“Shh. I said we can negotiate. Don’t let yourself get too worried right now and if you do, I want you to call me, okay? I’ll give you my phone number too.”

“Okay,” I replied. It felt like the only word I could say.

“If you don’t like those things, you tell me. If they don’t feel right, you tell me. If there’s something you really like, something that makes you feel good, I want to know that too. There’s all sorts of different kinks out there, Jared, but I think we both know what you need.”

Before I could reply, his hands dropped away and he said, “Stand up,” and I did, that fucking easily, I did. He stood too. Kieran raised his hands and wiped my tears. I closed my eyes because it felt so good…so damn good to be taken care of that way.

“Stay here,” he said when he was finished. “I’ll be right back.” He returned a few minutes later with a piece of paper. “This is what I want you to look up and my phone number is on there too. It’s late. You take tonight off. I want you to be here Saturday at noon and we’ll talk again.”

“Okay.”

“If we do this, it’ll be yes, Sir, or yes, Daddy, but my preference is Daddy.” He ran his fingers down my chest. “I very much want to be your Daddy, Jared. I want to take care of you the way we both need.”

It scared me because in that moment, I didn’t think there was anything I’d ever wanted more than what he’d just said.

CHAPTER SEVEN

The next couple days, I did exactly as Kieran had told me. Or Daddy. Should I think of him as Daddy? I still wasn’t sure about that. All of it felt weird and made me slightly uncomfortable, if I was being honest. But still, I did as I was told, because that part felt right. The schedule calmed me. I also went to bed at nine as he’d said, ate three square meals a day, and browsed the site he’d given me.
