They didn’t need to go through the main house. Guards were near a gate, and one by one, the kids entered. Roman and Alex, stepped into the backyard together.

As to be expected, he and Alex hadn’t been seen together in over a year, and it drew attention to them.

His father was talking with a couple of capos, but at their entrance, he had no chance to ignore them. Liam was already making his way over here, and the kids rushed toward him, calling him Grandpa.

Liam lapped it up.

Out of their two dads, Liam was the one who accepted their decision. His dad often tried to get him to foster the kids out, to move them on.

Not happening. He loved them all.

Lucas approached. as did his mother, who looked nervous.

The kids were laughing and happy.

“Dad, Mom, I’d like you to meet my family,” Roman said.

Now it was up to his dad. He could either send them off to play as some of the other kids were not doing because they were afraid of being told off, or he could tell them all that he was their grandfather.

He stared at Lucas, waiting. “I’m your grandfather, kids,” Lucas said.

Again, his children were … wonderful, and within seconds the Boss of the Greco mafia was swarmed by fifteen kids, all wanting a hug, or to shake hands. Kyle had taken up shaking hands.

Alex wrapped her arms around his waist. “They’re all staring.”

“Let them stare. Evil bastards that they are. They don’t get to share in this moment. This is ours, and will always be ours.”

“Roman Greco, I don’t think I have ever seen you quite so sexy as I do right now,” she said.

“Oh, you haven’t, huh?”

“I guess a man taking care of his family is … well … quite something.”

He stared down into her eyes, feeling her swollen stomach against him. “Stick around, Alex, because I will rock your world when it comes to our family.”

And he did. Rather than stand around, talking shop and work, he ran after his kids and completely destroyed his reputation as being a hard-ass bastard with no heart. He’d make them all pay, but for now, he had his family, and that was all that mattered to him.

The End
