“What will I do with you now?”

He asks the question I have been thinking. Unlike me, however, Brawn knows the answer.

“You may reside as a guest in my palace for as long as you like. I may not always be in residence. My realm requires much in the way of ruling, but I will always be there for you, Ariel. I owe you a life debt, and I will pay it.”

“A guest. In your palace.” I repeat his words.

There was so much intimacy between us just moments ago. I sucked his cock and he fed me. Then he punished me, and he spoke to my fucking soul. And now I will be a guest.

I don’t know why I feel so offended by that word. Guest. A guest is someone you’re taking care of, and I guess he has taken care of me. But is that all it is?

I feel… silly. I am so attracted to him I can barely stand it, but does he even want me? Could he be with me if he wanted to be? I can’t stop thinking about what lies beneath his pants, those two cocks massive and ridged and plated. They would probably tear me apart if they were to get inside…

“You have turned pink,” he observes. “Does this indicate your happiness?”

“It does,” I say, thankful for the convenient cover of my thoughts.

“Then a guest you shall be. You shall never have to work again. You will spend your days in endless leisure, enjoying the riches of my empire.”

“Thank you, sire. Your generosity is, well, very generous.” I tell him what he wants to hear, and what I know I should say. What I should feel. Secretly, I am not nearly so pleased.

I am going to be So. Fucking. Bored.

Gotta Eat

“Tell me about your world, please.”

It has been a day, or perhaps a week. Maybe a month. I do not know. Time has ceased to flow in the normal way thanks to the strangeness of my situation. I am on a voyage with a very strange king, and he has become the sun around which I orbit.

“You want to be prepared,” he says. “You don’t want to be surprised?”

“I've had enough surprises recently,” I deadpan. “Is it like Earth? Is it completely different?”

“It’s quite different. Your world spins in such a way that both sides of it are exposed to the sun at different times. Mine spins in such a way that one side is constantly exposed to the sun, and the other is always in shadow.”

“Wow.”

“One side of my planet is arid, boiling with lava. Few species can live there because of the intense heat and the almost complete lack of moisture. The other side is locked in ice. There is a narrow inhabitable band which runs the circumference of the planet. That is my primary territory. That is where our cities are constructed, and our farms tended. That is where life clusters in all its richness.”

“I can’t wait to see it.”

This time, I’m not lying. Listening to Brawn describe his home planet makes me realize that there truly is a world waiting for me to see, something completely alien, something no human has ever laid eyes on.

“It is a violent, but beautiful place.”

“Violent?”

He smirks, his fangs getting longer with the wrinkling of his lips. “Look at me, Ariel. Do I look like a creature conceived in peace?”

“You do not,” I admit. You look fucking hot, I don’t add.

I lie down in a sort of window seat on the bridge. I don't know what other spaceship bridges look like, but this one is very much designed for general lounging. Or at least, it is for me. My relatively small stature means I fit into all sorts of places their species isn’t supposed to.

King Brawn takes a seat nearby, and together we rocket through the universe en route to a whole new world. I should be excited, probably. Or maybe terrified. But I’m not that either. I’m not anything really.

I put my hands over my eyes and try to center myself. I’m probably just overwhelmed. Or maybe I’m about to have a huge mental breakdown and make a total fool of myself. Could go either way.

“Does that body part hurt, human? I can get the doctor again.”

“I’m just tired. Don’t worry about me.”

He gently moves my hand away from my forehead. “I will always worry about you. Tell me what is wrong.”

And that’s the part where I start crying. Just crying and crying and crying.

“You are so wet,” he says, but not in a sexy way. More in an astounded way as he beholds the sheer volume of liquid traipsing down my face. I try to wipe my tears away, but they just keep flowing. It’s been so long since anybody was so unashamedly concerned about me.
