This time, when I kiss the buxom brunette, it’s full on the lips. She moans low in her throat, and my cock jerks in response. I’ll never get tired of Faith’s sweetness, and unbidden, my hand reaches up to cup one big breast. But then, Faith takes a deep breath. “Alright, I think we’ve wasted as much time as we can. The ceremony starts in ten minutes, so we better make an appearance.”

I grin.

“Sure thing, pretty girl.” Then, I get out and make my way around the vehicle to open her door. My eyes rake over Faith’s curvaceous form as she climbs out of the car, resplendent in her pink dress with pink heels that show off her long legs. I don’t know how I got so lucky with this incredibly gorgeous woman, but I’m going to be thanking God for a long time.

I hold out my arm and she places her tiny palm in the loop with a small smile.

“Shall we?”

Faith nods. “Yes, let’s.”

We walk into the hotel and follow the signs for the Randall-Fits wedding. It does seem like a waste of money to go to all this trouble when there are so few guests, but from what Faith has told me about her mother, Samantha doesn’t care about wasting money. She just likes getting her way.

“I guess this is it,” Faith says when we reach a door labeled with a sign that says ‘Randall-Fits.’

“Are you ready? It won’t be long, honey, and then we can leave.” She throws me a wry smile.

“I hope it’ll be short because I don’t think I could handle it if the ceremony drags on for hours.”

Laughing, I push open the double doors and sure enough, when we peer inside, there are only three people in the massive convention room: the justice of the peace, the groom, and the best man.

Faith waves to what must be her mom’s future husband. Georgie Fits seems alright, actually. Of course, he can’t be older than twenty-five with his soft, unlined baby face and fine brown hair swept over his forehead, but he seems nice enough. As we approach, he smiles excitedly.

“Hi, I’m Georgie!” he gushes. “I’m so glad to meet you, Faith! Your mother is just thrilled that you’re going to be here, and she’s told me so much about you.”

My girlfriend manages to be passably polite.

“Thank you, Georgie,” she says. “I’m looking forward to your wedding. May you live long and prosper.”

I choke a bit because that’s a line from Star Trek, but I manage to keep a straight face.

“Hi, I’m Hunter,” I manage in a growl. “Faith’s boyfriend. Pleased to meet you. So how did you meet Samantha, Georgie? We don’t know many details about your relationship, I’m afraid.”

The young man bobs with happiness, his smile reaching from ear to ear.

“Well, I was at my dad’s hotel in St. Louis and Samantha walked in because her car had broken down out front. It was love at first sight, I swear. She asked to use the phone because hers was dead, and I was able to help her out, and the rest is history! I can’t believe that was just four months ago.”

I manage to keep from gawking. “Four months? And now you’re getting married?”

Poor Georgie is so clueless that he nods excitedly. “Yes! We wanted to tie the knot immediately. Sometimes, you just know that you’re right for someone and they’re right for you, so why wait?”

I nod solemnly, trying not to smile. To be honest, there’s truth in his words because I would ask Faith to marry me right now if I thought she’d say yes. But from what I’ve gathered, her mother’s failed marriages have made my girlfriend gun shy, throwing a wrench into my plans.

Meanwhile, the best man slaps his friend on the back. “Don’t worry, Hunter, we already told this kid he’s crazy for tying the knot so fast, but he won’t listen. When Georgie sees something he wants, he goes for it like a true billionaire alpha male.”

Of course, there’s no one less like an alpha male than Georgie, but the young man merely lets out a high-pitched giggle. “Hey, it’s not my fault I’m a go-getter! I take after my dad. You know Georgie Senior doesn’t run one of the largest high-end hotel chains in the country by letting the world pass him by!”

Faith and I share another look. That confirms it: Samantha is only marrying this guy for his money. If I had to guess, Samantha quickly intuited that the man helping her with her phone was actually an heir to millions, and spun the situation to her advantage.

“Is the Medina Grand one of your dad’s hotels?” Faith asks slowly.

“You betcha!” her soon-to-be stepdad exclaims with excitement. “It’s actually the first one Georgie Senior opened, so you can imagine how excited we are to be here. Of course, Georgie Senior wanted to be here himself, but he’s convalescing from a heart attack, so that wasn’t in the books.”
