“You are our daughter,” Uncle Raymond speaks up. “And you know, sweetheart, us Kincaids, we work hard, but we love even harder.” He winks.

“If I didn’t plan on letting Deacon change my last name, I’d beg you to let me change it to Kincaid.”

“Setty sounds better,” Deacon chimes in.

I turn to look at him. “Yeah, I agree.” I settle back into my seat but keep my eyes on him. “Deacon, you are everything I never knew that I needed. You brought me back to life and showed me the true meaning of a man loving a woman. I love you with every part of my soul.”

He blinks hard a few times before leaning over the console of the rental and kissing me soundly.

“I’m starving,” Uncle Raymond announces once Deacon finally releases me.

“You hungry, Rams?” Deacon asks.

“Yes. Let’s grab something at the hotel and then see if we can all catch earlier flights. I’m ready to go home.”

“So, it’s legit?” I ask Deacon. We’re sitting in his office two days later.

“It’s legit. You get access to all one hundred million now, and once you’re married, your spouse is entitled to fifty percent of what’s left.”

“You’re welcome,” I say, smiling.

“What?”

“I’m going to make you a millionaire.” I grin.

“Baby, you already gave me your heart. I’m already a millionaire.”

“You looking to get lucky tonight?”

“I’m lucky every day that I spend with you,” he counters cheekily.

“You’re impossible.”

“Only when it comes to you.”

“So, what’s next?” I ask him.

“You’ve signed the papers. Once you’re married.” He smirks. We both know he’s the one I’ll be marrying. “Your spouse needs to sign as well once you submit a copy of your marriage license.”

“How is that going to work when it's you?” I ask him.

His smile can’t be rivaled. “I’ve asked my partners to take over. I took care of the paperwork, but it’s their names on them. Not mine.”

“Always thinking ahead. I like it.” I stand and walk around his desk, placing a kiss on his lips. “I’m heading home. Palmer is meeting me.”

“You girls have fun.”

“We will. You better enjoy today. It’s your last day working without me hovering over you.”

“I look forward to it.” He smiles. “I’ll see you at home later. Love you.” He pulls me into another quick kiss before I force myself to leave his office. As I’m pushing open the door, Palmer and Piper are entering. “Hey, I was just on my way to meet you.”

She grins. “I had to drop something off to Deacon first.” She motions toward the package in her hands. Piper is carrying one as well.

“What are those?” I ask her.

“Come.” She motions for me to follow them.

“Piper?” I ask Deacon and Palmer's middle sister.

“All I’m going to say is that I love the love that the two of you share. It was evident from day one.”

What in the world are they talking about? Following them down the hall, I step into Deacon’s office behind them.

“Hey, you just missed Rams,” he greets his sisters.

“Oh, we found her.” Palmer steps aside so that he can see me.

His eyes soften. He holds his hand out for me, and I go to him. How could I not? He pulls me onto his lap and kisses my cheek. “Missed you.”

“It’s been like two minutes.” I laugh.

“Two minutes too long.”

“Aww,” Piper and Palmer say at the same time.

“You got them?” Deacon asks.

“I do.” Palmer sets the brown paper-wrapped package on his desk and slowly unwraps it.

I gasp when I see what it is. “Oh, my word.” I’m looking at a canvas print of one of our photo shoot images. It’s the one where Deacon has me sitting on the wall, his hands holding my face, his lips pressed to mine. It’s sexy and intimate, and Piper’s right. You can see the love. Sure, we weren’t in love then, but the way that Palmer captured the shot, anyone looking at this image would argue that there was love between us that day.

“That one’s going in our bedroom,” Deacon tells me.

“Is that another one?” I point at the similar package that Piper is holding.

“It is.” She grins and goes through the same unwrapping process that Palmer just did for her unveiling.

“That one, it was your smile,” Deacon tells me. In the image, he’s standing behind me. His face is buried in my neck. My head is tilted back, giving him access like the hussy I am for him, and he’s right. The smile on my face is wide and carefree. It’s everything Deacon makes me feel captured for us to remember for always.

“Palmer,” my voice cracks.

“Stop.” Palmer shakes her head, swallowing hard. “I’m just glad you two stubborn asses finally let me do this.” She points at us.

“What? You’re not claiming naming rights to their first baby?” Piper teases.

“Don’t encourage her.” I laugh. “She’s already mentioned that.”
