“Down boy!” I say to hide my uneasiness. Then, standing on my tiptoes, I pull him in for a kiss, knowing if the talk of babies is on his mind now, it will distract him.

“Get a room,” Nick yells just as the kiss is getting more heated, causing us to pull apart, both of us breathing hard with want.

“I think we should listen,” I say in a whisper, and Jase’s eyes go wide in shock that I would say such a thing. Before he can argue, I walk around him and head toward the stairs which lead down to the rooms. “I need to use the restroom,” I announce without making eye contact with anyone. I’ve only just stepped off the stairs and into the cabin when I feel Jase’s hands on my body. He shoves me into an open door and slams it shut behind us.

“That bathing suit is a fucking tease, woman,” he murmurs as he lifts me onto what looks like a table of some sort and shoves my legs apart. He removes my bottoms and kneels down, set on eating me out. My back and head hit the wall with a thump as he spreads my lips and suckles my clit with his talented mouth. My hands go to my breasts, and I pull at the hardened peaks, losing myself to the pleasure.

When I’ve come so hard that I about see stars, Jase lifts me off the table and turns me around so my back is to him. With my ass in the air, and my breasts mashed against the hardwood surface, Jase enters me in one fluid motion. Gripping my hair, he pulls my head back so he can suck on the side of my neck. His lips trail downward, kissing my shoulder, as he continues to fuck me, hard and deep. It doesn’t take long until my legs are shaking and I’m screaming his name as we both come completely undone.

When he stills, his hard-length still deep inside me, he places another kiss to my shoulder and murmurs, “One day I’m going to tattoo this flawless body.” I let out a content sigh. “I’m going to mark you permanently,” he growls. “Make you mine.” His voice is so matter-of-fact, it sends heat through my entire body.

He pulls out of me, and I miss the contact immediately. Turning around, I wrap my arms around him, not wanting our connection to end. He lifts me, and with my legs wrapped around him, carries me to the bathroom to get cleaned up. With me sitting on the luxurious marble countertop, Jase gently opens my legs and cleans me up—and my heart picks up speed at how sweet he is.

My thoughts go back to what he said a moment ago: make you mine. I’ve never wanted to be anybody’s before. I’ve wanted to be wealthy and successful, have a nice home, a comfortable life. And I wanted to find a man who would help ensure that I would have all of that. But until Jase, I never wanted to actually be somebody’s. Belong to him. Be his everything. Now I can’t imagine anything I want more. And with that thought, I say a prayer that one day, when we have the conversation we need to have, our futures align.

After spending the rest of the day on the yacht, hanging out and relaxing with everyone else, we head back to Jase’s place. He said he’s cooking Skyla’s favorite—chicken fettucine alfredo—and asked me to join them for dinner. Jax says he’ll be home right after he drops Kirsten off. It was obvious she wanted to be invited back, but Jax either didn’t catch on, or didn’t care, because he made it clear he was dropping her off first.

When we arrive at Jase’s house, we’re greeted by a very excited Skyla and a glaring Quinn. I’m not sure why Quinn still has such an issue with me, but at some point we should probably discuss it.

“Dad! Celeste!” Skyla hugs her father and then me. “Did you guys have fun?”

“We did,” Jase says, giving his daughter a kiss on her forehead before excusing himself to go start dinner.

“Aunt Quinn showed me a picture of a yacht, like the one you guys were on. I wanted to go today, but Dad said no,” Skyla says as we walk into the living room. “It’s so beautiful!”

“They are,” I agree. “Today was just for adults,” I tell her, sitting down on the couch, “but we can go on one if you want.”

Skyla sits next to me, her eyes as wide as saucers. “Really?” She pulls out her phone and shows me the image of a yacht a little smaller than the one we went on today. “One like this?”

“Sure.” I smile at her. “You can invite some of your friends if you want, too. And we can even have the captain anchor, so we can go swimming.”
