Emerson huffed and took a huge bite of the slice to get out of answering…inadvertently proving he could deep-throat without gagging.

Lane found it hilarious and started snickering again, but he managed to breathe enough to get out a sentence this time. “It’s the artist guy, isn’t it? The sexy one?”

Emerson nodded, shoving another bite in his mouth instead of answering in actual words.

“Wait? How did I miss this?” Artist guy? “Who is it?”

Emerson waved his hand at Lane and took another bite, which Lane gleefully took to mean he was supposed to tell the story. “He came in during one of the shoots about a month ago. He knows Eli and Preston…probably Roman too.”

Lane looked delighted to be able to tell us all about him, so I knew the guy had really made an impression. “He’s this big sexy bear who looks like a biker and does custom corsets and stuff like that. Nothing mass market, but they’re talking about doing a limited line of them next year.”

I looked over to make sure this was the guy Emerson was talking about and when he shoved the last of the crust in his mouth and flopped back on the floor, I knew Lane was right. “Is he scary bear or sexy bear?”

Lane shivered. “Both…like my sweetie but…but more.”

Oh goodie.

That’d be right up Emerson’s alley.

I was starting to see why he was being so dramatic.

I might like sweet guys like Bishop, but Emerson liked wicked Doms that would ask him to do wonderfully embarrassing things.

That just sounded stressful to me.

“What are you supposed to do?” I still wasn’t sure exactly what the problem was or why his erection would be coming into play, so I had a feeling we hadn’t heard everything about this meeting yet.

Emerson groaned from the floor, but as I leaned over the coffee table, he started his confession. “Roman and Preston asked me into a meeting yesterday. They wanted to tell me about a side job they said they thought I would be perfect for, but they were weird, and Preston was rambling about trying to be professional.”

That had our eyes going wide. Lane and I both knew that Preston didn’t do awkward or rambling. He was a professional in every sense of the word because he wanted to make sure everyone always felt comfortable and safe at L and L.

So for him to have been uncomfortable, it really said something.

I just wasn’t sure what.

I was starting to think we should’ve been sober for this discussion.

Taking another deep breath, Emerson threw his hands up and sighed. “It was awkward, but Roman finally spelled it out. The corset guy wanted someone to model the line, but he wants it to be erotic, and well, kind of kinky?”

Now we were getting somewhere.

This was starting to sound like it would be right up Emerson’s alley as long as the guy wasn’t bad weird.

“That sounds perfect for you. What’s the problem?” That might’ve come out a bit too excited because he made another dramatic sound and started mumbling something about him losing his mind.

When Lane and I just waited, Emerson finally answered after he stopped his frustrated mumbling as he stared up at the ceiling. “I might’ve said I’d think about it? And instead of active modeling like we do at L and L, he wants something a bit closer to a mannequin…or maybe a living sex doll?”

Oh.

Lane and I both sat in silence for a moment before we burst up onto our knees and scrambled over to look down at him. He was blushing, but we knew that just meant he’d be hard as a rock, so I wasn’t worried. Emerson went white when he was upset, not red. “You said yes to all of it, right?”

He’d definitely said yes.

“He wouldn’t let me answer right away.” Emerson looked down, brows pulled together and looking sad like that was absolute torture. “I have to wait forty-eight hours and then I can answer.”

“Oh, that’s such a Dom move.” Lane was clearly impressed.

“Did he tell you that you can’t jerk off while you wait?” It seemed like a legitimate question given the circumstances.

“No, thank god.” Emerson’s relief was obvious. “I’d have died.”

“Tell us more.” Because I had a thousand questions he hadn’t answered yet, some practical and some just kinky and nosy.

As we sat back, giving him some space, he pushed himself off the floor until he was sitting by the coffee table. “Well, after Roman and Preston explained the corset thing and what he was looking to do with the current line, I was interested enough to agree to meet Luca. He’s the artist.”

Okay, this sounded reasonable.

The models did shoots for other stuff sometimes. Mostly it was artists that Eli knew looking to show off a new line or one time it was for an art school project…they’d all been fully dressed for that and it’d been strange. But this was the first time anyone had come to them for deliberately provocative stuff.
