I pried her lips open with my other hand, holding her mouth stretched wide as I slipped my sodden fingers inside.

“Fucking lick them clean,” I hissed, and she did. Her tongue darted between those pretty lips and she licked at my fingers tentatively, tasting herself and letting out a small moan once the sweetness hit her tongue. “Good girl.”

She grabbed hold of my wrist then, and I didn’t need to hold her mouth open anymore. She sucked my fingers with vigor until they were wet with her spit. I took them out and she gave me a needy look.

“Aren’t you gonna ask what my name is?” she asked in a throaty voice, and I grinned at her.

“I don’t give a fuck what your name is.”

“What’s yours?” she asked, her eyes drinking me in.

I let go of her, buttoning up my blazer and bringing my fingers up to my mouth. They smelled of her.

I didn’t like virgins. Messy, in every way possible.

She was way too young, probably barely legal, whereas I’d just turned forty. I didn’t look it, but around girls her age I sure as hell felt it.

She’d probably be a needy little thing, dependent on me within days. Or maybe even hours.

She looked feisty, like she’d pick a fight for no reason than just to annoy me, or just because she fucking could.

All things I hated. So why the fuck was I considering this?

“King,” I told her simply.

“Is that what I should call you?” she batted her lashes at me.

“If you want,” I told her. “But eventually, Pet, you’re going to call me Master.”

Nothing mattered anymore. Not Veronica, not the hundred bucks, not Elliott probably spitting and hissing fire in the kitchen. All I cared about was King, standing right in front of me, more solid than my reality. I wanted to come with him. I wanted to give him everything.

I knew what I was doing was stupid, I knew I was being foolish, yet I couldn’t stop myself. I wanted this, I wanted him.

I followed him out of that coat room with my skirt hiking up on my thighs, my face flushed from the taste of my own juices and my needy pussy clenching. He took my hand firmly and led me out of there without so much as a glance over his shoulder. I didn’t get to say goodbye to anyone, or see Elliott’s enraged face as we left the gallery. I didn’t even get to take my clothes or my damn coat, and I only realized it when we were outside and I shivered in the chill of the night.

“Cold?” he asked, pulling me along the street. He was walking briskly and I had to take long steps to keep up.

“Yes,” I nodded, my teeth starting to chatter. “Very cold… sir.”

He stopped for a second and slipped off his blazer, placing it over my shoulders. I felt so small when he touched me, like I was a doll he was playing with. I loved the feeling. And I craved more of it.

I looked down as he draped the blazer over me, suddenly too nervous to return his gaze. What was I fucking doing? He was a complete stranger, and I’d let him… touch me. And take me back to his place.

“Are you a murderer?” I asked him out of the blue, and he chuckled.

“No,” he replied smoothly. “I’m a man who knows what he wants, Pet.”

There was that nickname again. The way he’d discarded my real name like it meant nothing, but it felt oddly liberating instead. My pretentious name had always been the most unique thing about me. Without it, I was just the boring girl next door. But as Pet, I felt anything but boring. As Pet, I felt special.

I wondered briefly if he’d called any other women by that name, but my thoughts dissolved into thin air when a car pulled up to the curb and the driver exited, opening the doors. I realized it was meant for us when King led me inside, his hand firm in mine when he guided me to my seat.

The door closed behind us and we were alone in the darkness, cut off from the driver by a black mirrored partition. The car pulled away and I wondered if the driver could see us. And I wondered again how I could be so stupid to trust a man I didn’t know, but my worries turned to dust when his mouth latched onto mine.

I hadn’t kissed a lot of guys, let alone men. And I’d never kissed anyone quite like King.

He didn’t let me kiss him back. He fucked my mouth with his tongue, pushing it forcefully between my lips and claiming every drop of the wetness that lay behind them. I moaned against his lips and he deepened our kiss, making me tremble against his hard body.
