“You’re out of your mind if you think I want him,” I’d replied, and he just waved his hand and walked off. But I didn’t want to make any waves because I needed this job. I was finally able to save a few bucks every paycheck too.

As soon as I heard the first note of our song, I decided to get a leg up, so I reached for his waist and pulled him firmly against me. When I heard him gasp, I felt a strange satisfaction. I started getting hard immediately, but this time I didn’t fight it because it was no use. So I gave it my all, moving against him, dragging my fingers up his lean waist and under his crop top to his sweaty underarm.

When I felt him shiver, I smirked. “Not too much to handle now, are you?” I asked against his ear.

He glanced back, his face flushed, and it somehow affected me too, heat pooling low in my abdomen. When he arched a devilish eyebrow, I just knew he was cooking up something.

Suddenly he bent his torso and planted his palms on the bar while he jiggled his tight ass. From the audience, it probably looked like I was pounding him from behind, and the noise was deafening. Christ, my skin felt on fire, and I tried not to stare as my fingers held on to his hips, but seeing him in this position was making me so hard. When he straightened, I reached for one of his wrists and braced it behind his back while my mouth found his ear. “Is that how you like it? Being railed on all fours?”

He moaned, and it only made me stiffer. “Bet you wish you could find out,” he replied before spinning away from me.

When the song ended, he was the one to jump down first, and he didn’t look back as he left the bar. I stood there stunned for a long moment, while my chest heaved and I tried to get my body to cooperate.

I was exhausted by the end of the shift but also still half-hard. Maybe it was time to hook up with a random, but definitely not anyone from the bar. Awkward.

I drove home, where I stripped bare, jumped in the shower, and pumped my cock into oblivion, absolutely not imagining a pretty twink with short blond hair and a tight ass.

Tips had been fabulous on Friday night. They always were when I danced with Dane, so I didn’t see what he had to be so pissy about. Dancing with me and getting money out of it couldn’t be that much of a hardship.

I had to admit, he’d thrown me for a loop that second dance. The way he’d taken control and the shit he’d said got my dick harder than it had been in a while. It had come out of left field where Captain Cranky Pants was concerned. Of course, afterward, he’d gone right back to that sexy, brooding look he did so well, but yeah, it gave me a little taste of what could be under the surface of all that brooding. Brooding was stupid hot when it totally shouldn’t be.

I’d ended up going home with a guy who’d had his eyes on me all night and had given me a large chunk of the cash that had been shoved down my underwear, but damned if I hadn’t come thinking about Dane fucking me.

Which I basically hated, because while I enjoyed giving him shit and thought he was sexy as hell, I didn’t like wanting someone with such a large stick up their ass, someone who obviously didn’t like me.

Ugh, then why did I want him to fuck me? Why did I want to see what was beneath that smoldering grumpiness?

Groaning, I rolled over in bed, just as there was a soft knock on my bedroom door.

“I’m awake,” I called out, and Seth came into the room. I scooted over, and he got into bed with me. He ended up there a lot, in a strictly platonic way.

“You got home late last night,” he said.

“I met a guy. It was fun.”

“Tell me about it,” Seth said softly, without looking at me. The kid was so unique—so damn innocent and a virgin, who definitely wouldn’t have problems finding a guy who wanted to sleep with him. Yet he never did, but he liked hearing about my hookups. He often wanted me to tell him about them, and I also wondered how often he listened in if I brought a guy home. I wasn’t sure what all that was about, if there was a reason he didn’t want to hook up himself, but I figured if he wanted to tell me, he would. I didn’t want to push him by asking. There had been one time a guy got a little handsy with him when we first became friends, but he said that wasn’t why.
