“I can see that.” Jobe’s eyes darkened and his nostrils flared. “I’d love to help you out with it.”

“Yeah?” Wesley’s stomach tingled and his balls drew up. “I don’t think I’ll be able to return the favor.”

“Letting me suck your dick is a favor.” Jobe plunged his hands into the water and pulled the plug.

“I don’t know how I can be horny and nauseous at the same time, but—” Wesley swallowed hard, leaned against the back of the tub, and dropped his knees open. “I want you so much.”

“Must be the hormones.” Jobe kept his gaze on Wesley’s groin as he waited for the water to drain. “I’m not complaining.” When Wesley’s dick was completely exposed, Jobe plugged the tub again and reached for him. “Not complaining at all.” He swiped his tongue around the perimeter of Wesley’s cockhead and then dropped his mouth over it and sucked.

“Oh lord.” Wesley closed his eyes and pushed his fingers through Jobe’s soft hair. “Jobe.” With his mate’s attention, the aches and pains that had pulled Wesley from sleep and sent him stumbling into the bathroom disappeared to be replaced by an overwhelming flood of emotion. “I love you.”

Rather than answering, Jobe moaned and bobbed his head. He kept the suction on Wesley’s cock firm, but not rough, and he gently ran his hand over Wesley’s stomach.

Faster than he would have expected, Jobe’s tender touches pushed Wesley’s overheated body over the edge and, with a quiet gasp, he emptied himself into his mate’s mouth. “Wow,” he whispered, heart racing, limbs heavy, and body sated. “Thank you.”

“I enjoyed every second of that.” Jobe kissed him, a soft press of lips. “You taste wonderful.”

“I’m tired.” Wesley’s rebelling stomach had woken him up early, but they hadn’t gone to bed terribly late so he had gotten enough sleep. But if his body was fighting off a bug, he’d need more rest than usual. “Do we have meetings today or can we stay home?”

“Nothing we can’t miss.” Jobe dipped a washcloth into the bath, and then wiped the damp fabric across Wesley’s forehead. “Let’s dry you off and get you back in bed.” He pulled the plug, rose to his feet, and got a bath towel.

After managing to stand without swaying too much, Wesley stepped out of the tub and into Jobe’s embrace. His mate rubbed the towel over his body and hair, led him out of the bathroom, and tucked him into bed. Wesley sighed in relief as he snuggled into the soft sheets and buried his face against Jobe’s pillow.

“I’m going to get you another glass of ginger ale.” Jobe brushed the back of his hand over Wesley’s bearded cheek. “Hopefully it’ll keep your stomach calm enough for you to rest.”

Before he could thank Jobe for taking care of him, Wesley’s eyes closed and he fell asleep.

Wesley woke to the sound of Jobe’s voice outside of the bedroom.

“I’m hoping this first part is the hardest, and once his body adjusts, he’ll be more comfortable.”

Moving slowly so as to ward off another spell of dizziness, Wesley slid his legs off the bed and sat up.

“I need to go check on him, but I’ll call you if we have any questions.” Jobe’s footsteps sounded. “I don’t know if he wants to make a big announcement or share the good news himself so don’t tell anyone but Dad.”

If Jobe said anything else, Wesley couldn’t hear it above the buzzing in his head. It wasn’t possible. His conversation the previous day with Ricky was making him misinterpret things.

“You’re up.”

Wesley blinked until his eyes began working again.

“How’s the nausea?” Jobe hurried to the bed, sat beside him, and placed his hand on Wesley’s stomach. “Still giving you trouble?”

“No.” Wesley shook his head. “I heard you on the phone with your mother.”

“Did I wake you up?”

Disregarding the question, Wesley focused on what mattered. “You told her not to tell anyone. You said I might want to announce the good news.” He gulped. “What good news?”

Jobe glanced down at his hand and caressed Wesley’s stomach. “I know you haven’t taken a test yet, Wes, but what else could it be?”

Ignoring the implication, Wesley said, “I have food poisoning. Or the flu.”

After staring at him in disbelief for several beats, Jobe said, “You’re nervous and I jumped the gun by telling my parents.” His shoulders drooped. “I shouldn’t have done that without talking to you but I was so excited and…” He sighed. “So how mad are you?”

“I’m not mad!” Wesley snapped and then blinked in surprise at his own outburst.

“Not mad, got it.” Keeping one hand on Wesley’s belly, Jobe curled the other around his nape. “I’m sorry anyway.”

“I don’t know why I just yelled at you like that.” Wesley shook his head. “I’m honestly not mad, I’m just…” Terrified. He was absolutely terrified.
