“Ouch!” she cried out when her head knocked into the wall.

“Sorry! Sorry about that. Watch out,” I called, laughing as I maneuvered us down the narrow hallway.

By the time we made it to the bed, we were both laughing. I gently put Adelaide down on the mattress and watched as she eased her way up the bed. She’d pulled her hair down from her ponytail and it was fanned out on the white pillow, making her look like a fucking goddess.

“I’ve missed you so much, Addie,” I whispered, crawling onto the bed and kissing up her leg.

“Missed you. Too. Oh. My. God. Don’t stop.”

“Never,” I rasped right before I spread her legs and feasted between them.

Adelaide arched her back and fisted the sheets. “Gannon! Not going to last.”

I moved my hands to cup her ass, arching her hips. The moment her body began to shake, I knew she was about to come.

“Gannon! Yes! Oh, God, I’m coming!” She brought her hands to my head and pulled me in closer, screaming out my name in pleasure.

When she pushed my head away and proclaimed she couldn’t take any more, I moved up her body and positioned myself at her wet entrance. “I’ve been dreaming of this for so long.”

She smiled and opened herself to me, allowing me to push inside. She was so tight, I nearly came on the spot.

I dropped my head to the curve of her neck as I tried to focus on not finishing right then and there. “You’re so…so tight…Addie.”

She wrapped her legs around my hips as she drew me in deeper. “It’s been awhile since I’ve had sex.”

The last thing I wanted to think about right now was another man inside of her. All I wanted to concentrate on was how amazing she felt and how beautiful we were, together as one.

I moved faster, and Adelaide matched my movements. I wanted to go slowly, but I was losing the ability to think clearly.

“Harder, Gannon. Please. I need more of you!”

That was my breaking point. I pulled out and thrust harder, causing Adelaide to suck in a breath.

“Did I hurt you?” I asked.

Wrapping her arms around my neck, she cried out, “No! Don’t stop. Please don’t stop!”

I moved faster and harder, and when I felt Adelaide lose herself again, I fell right along with her.

Never in my life had sex felt so amazing. Not even before, with Adelaide herself. Was it because there was no barrier between us? Because it had been so long? Or simply because I was finally making love to the woman I’d spent so many years dreaming of?

Holding my bodyweight up off of Adelaide, we both worked to regain our breathing.

“That was…amazing,” she said, her eyes meeting mine.

“Are you sure you don’t want to move in with me? We could do this whenever we want.”

She giggled. “As tempting as it is, I think it’s better for me to move in with Palmer right now.”

I dropped my forehead to hers. “You’re really no fun, Addie. Think about all the gossip we could generate.”

“I am thinking about that! I haven’t even been back in town for a month and there’s already been two stories about me in the column.”

I chuckled and rolled over, bringing her along so that she lay flat on top of my body.

Adelaide rested her chin on the back of her hand. “I don’t remember sex with you being so amazing,” she purred as she ran her fingers lightly over my chest.

“Pretty sure it was the no-condom thing.”

She nodded. “I’ve never done that before, just so you know.”

“Me neither.”

I brushed a stray piece of hair away from her face and tucked it behind her ear. “I love you, Addie.”

Her eyes seemed to sparkle before she leaned down and kissed me gently on the lips. “I love you too.”

“I think our first date was a success. What do you think?”

She pushed up and straddled me, the soft curls from her hair falling around her face and shoulders. “I think you’re right. Good food, a beautiful sunset ride on a stunning boat. Amazing sex on said boat. I’m giving it an A-plus for sure.”

“An A-plus. Man, the pressure is on for the second date.”

Adelaide chuckled. “How about if I plan the second date to take some of the pressure off?”

I placed my hands on hips. “I like the sound of that. Now, are you ready for round two?”

Her brows shot up. “The question is, are you ready?”

Pushing my hard dick against her warm body was my only reply.

Adelaide lifted up, positioned me at her entrance, and sank down. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

“Are you whistling?” Trish asked a few days later, as she poked her head into the office I shared with two other pilots. Neither of them were on duty today, so I had the place to myself.
