Rook’s hands guided me, finding the right angle, then keeping me moving at it as I drove closer and closer to that precipice.
Then, on a choked cry, fell right off of it, crashing down into the pleasure.
Rook held me against him as the sensations pulled me under over and over.
Coming down and finding him still rock-hard inside me had a little whimper escaping me.
“Yeah, I’m nowhere near done with you yet,” he said.
He slowly shifted back onto his butt, then back, leaving me astride him with him looking up at me.
Somehow, just that adoring, heated look in his eyes had my need reigniting, making my hips rock restlessly until I found the rhythm and started to ride him again.
“No,” Rook said as I threw my head back, eyes closed. “Look at me, baby. Please,” he added, raw need clear in his voice.
My eyes found his as I started to ride again, my movements slow and purposeful, wanting to freeze this moment in time, to remember every feeling, each sensation.
My body, though, didn’t get the memo about patience.
It wasn’t long before I was falling forward into Rook as the pleasure soared through me. I cried out against his shoulder as he rocked his hips up into me.
He gave me no time to recover this time, though. His hips were quick, demanding, forcing my desire to ratchet back up.
My little whimpers became ragged moans muffled by the material of his shirt.
“You’re taking me so fucking good,” Rook rumbled against my ear, making my sex clench hard around him. Even as my heart inexplicably did the same thing. “Give me one more just like this.”
As if he was giving me any choice.
He drove me ruthlessly up, his hips hard and fast, sending me stumbling to the edge before I could catch my breath, I was tumbling down, my whole body shaking as the pleasure coursed through me.
He still wasn’t finished with me, though, as he hooked me to him, then rolled me under him once again, surging deep—the thrust hard, borderline brutal.
And all I could do was beg for more.
He’d given me so much of his discipline, allowed me to be in charge. I wanted him just like this—unrestrained, out of control with his own need for release.
I expected him to be selfish with his desires after already giving me so much. But despite the way his body tensed, his breathing got short and ragged, he fucked me until I was arching, moaning, then coming hard one final time. Only then did he press deep, his body shuddering as he came.
His weight pressed down on me for a while afterward, both of us too overcome with the aftermath of what we’d done to move away.
It was Rook who recovered first, taking some of his weight off of me, pressing up to look down. His face was mostly cast in shadows, but I could feel the warmth emanating from his eyes as he looked down at me.
“I’ve—”
I never would find out what he was about to say right then.
Because suddenly cutting through the darkness was a set of headlights. Heading right our way.
“Shit,” Rook said, voice tight.
“What?”
“We lost track of time,” he said, moving fully off of me, rushing to tuck himself away.
“What?” I asked, still too come-drunk to think straight.
“The event planners,” he said, reaching for my hands and pulling me up to a seated position.
Reaching out, he pulled my bodice and straps back up, covering me.
“They have to come back and clean up,” he explained, making sure he was all sorted, then yanking my skirt down.
Finding my panties, he shoved them in his pocket as I finally got my legs to work and rose from the ground.
“I, ah, think we are just going to go ahead and… take this,” Rook said, leaning down to roll the blanket up while I slipped my sandals back on.
Heat flamed my cheeks as the sound of car doors cut through the night.
Rook reached for my hand, fingers squeezing, then led me forward.
“Hey, ladies. We lost track of time,” he admitted as I wondered if my hair was sex-messy.
“Understandably,” the brunette said, giving him a warm smile.
“We, ah,” Rook started, then changed tack. “Charge this to our bill,” he settled on, waving the rolled-up blanket.
The two women shared a knowing look.
“Happens all the time,” they admitted as I studied my feet.
“Do you need anything else from us?”
“No! No, go enjoy your wedding night. We hope you enjoyed your picnic.”
“We did,” Rook said, leading me away.
He pushed me into the passenger seat of my car, setting the blanket on my lap, then going around the car to drive back toward town.
We drove in silence, both of us lost in our own thoughts.
I wouldn’t pretend to know what might be on Rook’s mind.
As for my own, I was a little too stunned to form any truly coherent thoughts.
