Fury
I was sent to Florida on a mission. I'm here to help my club and my brother.Devil has been through hell, he's found happiness with his old lady and I want that for him.He has the life I've always wanted and tasted once… briefly.
I never dreamed trying to find someone for my club, would lead me back to my past, and to the only woman I've ever loved. Ellie Lane. I claimed her as mine and gave her everything I had.Losing her nearly destroyed me.I don't know if I'm strong enough to let her go twice.

Ellie
Walking away from Liam was the hardest thing I've ever done. It's been over a year and each day leaves me aching and empty. Every day we make choices. When it comes to Liam, I'm pretty sure I made the wrong one.I never expected to see him again.
I still love him.He still wants me. I've dreamed of a second chance. It happens in fairy tales, right?Although, I'm pretty sure the princess never got her prince under a hail of gunfire.

Books in Series:

Savage Brothers MC - Tennessee Series by Jordan Marie

Books by Author:

Jordan Marie Books

Prologue

Ellie

I thought I could handle it. I really thought I could. I’m not in the club life, or I wasn’t before falling in love with Liam. Maybe I was young and stupid, didn’t realize exactly what being in the club meant. I’ve put up with a lot, changed my whole world to fit in with Liam’s and I didn’t say a word. I didn’t care. The club was part of him, so I could accept it. There were parts I even liked. But, I’ve finally had enough.

A woman can turn a blind eye to a lot of things, but hearing Diesel order a hit on another woman is hard to overlook. Admittedly, I don’t like Vicki. I never did. But she’s a human. She’s a woman. She’s not one of these guys that sells out a brother or fucks over the club for money. She wants custody of her son. That’s it. Diesel ordered his men to find her. He wants her dead, either by his hand or his men. I can’t ignore that. You fight for custody in court. You let the court know what a whacko your ex is. You don’t order a hit on them. The fact that Liam so calmly accepts it scares the hell out of me.

“You can’t do this, Liam.”

“Stay out of it, Ellie. I love you, but I’ve told you before how things are. This concerns the club, not you. You aren’t even supposed to know what’s going on.”

“The man I love is planning on killing an innocent human being. I think that involves me.”

“There’s nothing innocent about that tramp, Ellie.”

“You can’t do this, Liam. You just can’t. No matter how bad she is, you can’t kill Ryan’s mother. Let the courts handle this.”

“It’s none of your business, Ellie.”

“None of my business?” I snap. His words feel like a slap across the face, but more painful.

“Ellie, damn it, I don’t want to discuss this with you,” Liam growls. His words bounce off of me, because the pain is moving too deep for me to focus on what he’s saying.

“Is this how you’ll deal with me, Liam?”

“Woman, what are you talking about?” he yells. I can tell I’m making him mad. Liam is intimidating most of the time, although he’s never tried to intimidate me before. He’s always handled me with care, even when arguing. Now? Now he’s just getting pissed. Probably because he feels trapped. Men hate that.

“What happens if we have a kid and break up, Liam? Will you—”

“Christ, woman. We’re not breaking up,” he rumbles under his breath, shaking his head at me.

“What if we did? What if you don’t want me to have custody of our child? Will you calmly order your club to take me out, too?”

“You’re not a crackhead whore, Ellie. Now, I’m tired of talking about this shit. I have a job to do and I’m going to do it. You need to step back from this and let it go. What happens is club business. It’s not—”

“Yeah, I got that. It’s not my concern. You said that. I only have one question, Liam. Will it concern me when the man I love is in jail for murder?”

“That won’t happen, Ellie.”

“And if it does?”

“Then, we’ll deal with it,” he says with a sigh.

“We’ll deal with it…” I repeat, not able to believe what I’m hearing.

“I’ve got to go. I’ll be back sometime next week.”

“If you leave, I won’t be here when you get back, Liam.”

“Don’t start that shit, Ellie. We’ll work this out when I get back and you will be here,” he orders, his voice gruff. It’s full of anger and frustration, but even through it I can hear his worry. He loves me, I know he does, but he loves his club more and that’s always been the case. I’ve been lying to myself, because now I know the truth.

I can’t accept coming in second to his club.

Not anymore.

Liam steps into me, his hands going on either side of my face and he pulls my mouth roughly up to his, kissing me.

Liam’s kisses always make my heart quicken. Even after all this time together, each kiss is like our first one. It never stops feeling new and exciting. I always feel my heart quicken and my skin tingle. My breath has to be pushed from my lungs, because it feels so good that I forget to breathe. From day one, Liam has been my everything. I thought I could accept being the second-most important thing to him.

Maybe I could have.

But, everything has changed now.

Everything.

When we break apart, his steel gray eyes bore into me.

“I love you, Ellie.”

His words break my heart.

“I love you, too, Liam,” I murmur, each word painful.

“We’ll work this out,” he says again. I don’t say anything. There’s nothing left to say.

Then, he walks away without a second look.
I’m tired of fighting. I don’t have a battle plan. I’m just stuck in the crossfire with no way out…
This is the ending to the story that began in Diesel: Savage Brothers MC—Tennessee Chapter. You will need to read that book first to understand this book. It is recommended you read the series in order.
This book will bring you away from the cliff and hopefully make you stop cursing the author.
It’s loud, and I can’t afford to attract attention.

“Is this…,” I clear my throat as fear almost keeps the words in. “Is this the man they call Crusher?”

“Yeah,” he says, sounding alert now, whereas before his voice seemed thick with sleep. “Who’s this?”

I swallow. I’ve gone around and around this conversation in my head. I didn’t know how to tell him, and I don’t want him to doubt that what I’m telling him is the truth. It’s definitely irony, but to get this Crusher person to believe me… I’m going to lie my ass off.

“My name is Rory McDaniels,” I tell him, giving him one of the very few truths I can give him.

“What do you want?” he asks.

“Cowboy? Are you okay?” I hear a woman ask in the background.

“I’m fine, Hellcat, go back to bed,” he says, his voice muffled, like he put a hand over the receiver.

“Are you there?” I ask him, looking around in the dark. Something about the way he spoke to the woman reassures me that this was the right man to call.

“How did you get my number?” he growls.

“From a friend,” I tell him… not exactly a lie.

“Lady you need to start talking a hell of a lot more than you are, or I’m hanging up,” Crusher says.

“I live in Whitefish, Montana,” I tell him and that lie… That one hurts.

“So?”

“My boyfriend was mugged last week,” I tell him and that lie… that one hurts too.

“Lady—”

“He’s been in a coma,” I tell him, and my voice shudders with that truth. You can hear it vibrate through my voice, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

“I’m sorry for his bad luck, but I don’t see what this has to do with me. I—”

“He’s awake now,” I tell him and that lie… God! That one burns like liquid fire down my throat. “He’s awake and… he asked me to call you and ask you to come to him.”

“Darlin’ I’m not about to—”

“My boyfriend’s name is Westin Cross. Do you know who that is?” I ask, knowing he will… or at least praying he does. I’m not sure if I know anything these days.

“Fuck,” he says and I can hear the pain in his voice. “Yeah,” he says finally, letting out a deep breath along with the word. “Yeah, I know who that is.”

“He needs you to come to the Westlake General Hospital near Whitefish, Montana.”

“Whitefish, Montana—”

“I have to go now. The doctor is coming in,” I tell him, adding yet another lie…

“But—” Crusher starts to argue, but I really have to go.

I look around in the darkness and the shadows around me seem to come to life. My heart-rate has kicked into overdrive and my palms are sweaty against the receiver of the phone.

I’m calling from a payphone… Who knew they still had those? I lay my head against the glass and try to still my nerves. It doesn’t work, but I try anyway.

“I have to go,” I tell this Crusher person again. “Just please hurry. He needs you. We all do,” I tell him, my hand going to my stomach.

“Listen, Ms. McDaniel—”

I hang up before he finishes talking. I pull my black jacket tighter around my body, wishing it was thicker. Then, I leave the phone booth. I slip back into the darkness, letting it hide me. It’s the only friend I have these days.

2

Rory

“Rory do you think Uncle Crusher will find Daddy?” Ryan asks quietly. His voice sounds so sad, there’s no trace of the little boy I met when he first moved to Montana. If I didn’t already have reason to kill my brother, that would be reason enough.

“He will since I called him,” I whisper, kissing the top of his head and holding him close.

“I told you my Daddy would live. I knew the monster hadn’t killed him. I knew it,” Ryan whispers and I try and hold back the tears just as I always do.

“You did, sweetheart. You knew it.”

“Daddy gets better he’ll find us Rory. He’ll save us and you won’t have to worry anymore,” he tells me and I kiss the top of his head.

“I know, sweet boy. I know.”

“He’ll make sure the monster pays for hurting you too. He will make him sorry!”

“Get some rest, Ryan. Tomorrow we’ll have to move again.”

“We do?” he asks, sounding worn out and it hurts me. I’m tired too, so tired that everything inside of me is screaming for rest.

“We can’t let King find us,” I tell him, but he knows. I tell him the same thing each time we move on to the next town.

“Are we going back to Uncle Crusher’s? If we can go there, he’ll protect us.”

“We can’t right now, Ryan. I told you why.”
My club and my son. I gave up one, trying to keep the other safe.
It worked, too… until an enemy took my son. But he made one mistake— He left me breathing.
There's nothing I won't do to save my child. A woman is the last thing I need, especially a woman like Rory McDaniels.
She's stubborn, beautiful and drives me crazy. I've told her it's too dangerous to be involved with me. She vows to stay, no matter the cost.
She has no idea how high that price might be.
What are you doing in my office?”

Even as I ask the question, I know. Crusher is at my back; he knows too. Fuck, I think my whole damn club knew, but me. I was blind. Blind to another goddamn piece of ass. So busy sinking into her pussy that I couldn’t see through her lies.

Just like liars do, Violet jumps, slams the drawer on my desk shut—the drawer that was locked when I left it last night—and turns around to look at me. She pastes a smile on her face.

“Sweetheart! I thought you were gone today with Ryan to have that father/son bonding time?”

Sweetheart.

That word from her lips makes me sick. Lips that just last night held my cock, sucking it so fucking good, I swore I’d found heaven. The woman was born to suck cock. I guess that should have clued me in. No one gets that damn good without a lot of practice. I knew she wasn’t completely innocent, but she seemed so bashful that I fucking thought there weren’t many before me.

How the fuck was I to know she had a whole damn army of cocks in that mouth before me?

“Answer the damn question, Violet. What are you doing in my office?”

“Baby—”

“In a room you aren’t supposed to be in—”

“Diesel—”

“In my fucking desk, that I know was locked—”

“If you’d just let me talk, lover, I could explain,” she says.

She tries to look so cool, but she can’t hide the panic on her face, or the desperation bleeding through her voice. She’s scared.

And she should be.

“Can you, Violet? You can explain how you ignored every rule I have in place?”

“Of…Of course I can,” she stutters.

“Good. I want you to explain, Violet. I want you to explain that and while you’re at it, I want you to explain how that bitch of an ex knew exactly where I’d be today with Ryan.”

“Your ex? Why would I know anything about that?” she asks. She starts backing away the minute I walk into my office.

“That’s what I asked myself,” I admit. “Why would you, the sweet little librarian who came to take care of my son, treated him like her own, the woman who I gave my dick to every night and protected—why would she do anything that endangers my son’s wellbeing?”

“I wouldn’t, Diesel. You know how I love that boy?”

My control snaps. It’s not a cognizant thing; I do it without thinking. I grab her, my hand going around her throat—the same throat I kissed as she whispered her lies to me night after night—and I enforce pressure until she’s bent backwards over my desk, her eyes wide open with fear, gasping in alarm, and clawing at my hand to let go.

“He is not that boy, you lying cunt. He’s my son. Mine.”

“Diesel—” she gasps. “Whatever you’re thinking—”

“I’m thinking of the millions of different ways I could kill you for your betrayal.”

“You can’t—”

“I can do anything I fucking want, Violet—if that’s even your real name.”

“Diesel, please…”

“Does this look familiar?" I ask her, finally yanking her burner phone from my back pocket. It’s a cheap flip phone bought at any local two-bit store and so out of date that you still have to go through a million steps just to text the letter A. It’s also one of the easiest to resist tracing—although I’m guessing the bitch knew that well.

She doesn’t say anything, but then, she doesn’t need to. She was panicked before, but now she’s absolutely terrified.

I lean down, my voice going soft—but cold and deadly. It’s nothing like the lover that she’s used to. “You made one fatal mistake, lover,” I tell her, flexing my fingers against her throat. It’d be so damn easy to choke the life out of her. It takes all the willpower I have not to do it. “You counted on Vicky not to be the stupid cunt she’s always been and fuck up. I had a man watching my back. You didn’t plan for that either did you, Violet?”

“I…I…”

I squeeze my hand tighter on her neck, not allowing her to talk.

“Did you really think I’d be stupid enough not to when she’d already tried to get my son once before?” I ask, but she doesn’t answer—simply because she can’t. Right now, she can’t even breathe. I watch as the color leaches from her face, leaving a pale white that’s slowly fading into blue.

It’d be so easy—too easy.

“Crusher.”

“Yeah, Boss-man?”

“Hold the bitch,” I tell him and then, just by the hold from my hand, I pull her up and toss her behind me.

Crusher catches her immediately and I sit on my desk facing them. He subdues her hands behind her back and holds a knife at her throat.

“Not a word from you—or my knife might slip,” he growls. I’ve never been more thankful than I am right at this moment that Crusher decided to leave Kentucky and come be my VP. He’s one of the few that I can trust. That has never been more evident than right now.
I don’t know who the fuck came up with that, but it sounds like a boring life. Leading with my dick has led me to some of the sweetest pussy a man could hope to touch and quite simply, I’m a man who likes to fuck. I’m also a man, not a boy. I’m almost thirty-six years old and I live my life exactly like I want. I don’t have bullshit that holds me back.

I take what I want.

Sanctimonious assholes can look down on me and how I choose to live my life. They won’t be the first and they probably won’t be the last. While they’re doing that I’m usually swimming with pussy in my bed. That’s my life and I make no apologies. The woman—or women—know the score before they climb in and join the party. They get what they want and I get what I want. It’s a beautiful bargain. The only loyalty I have is to my club.

Until her.

I used to look at bastards like my Vice President Crusher and just stop and wonder how one pussy could wind his dick so much that he’d be willing to give up other women. That kind of bullshit confused the hell out of me. The thought of just having one woman for the rest of my life terrified me and my dick.

Until her.

One look at her and it was like I was struck by lightning. Sounds like a fucking cliché, but it’s true all the same.

I’m standing in the pharmacy aisle at the local K-Mart stocking up on condoms. I might like sticking my cock in a lot of different holes, but I do that shit smart. One, I’m partial to my dick and I’m not sticking it in any snatch where it’s going to come out looking like it’s been stuck into a beehive. Women can look smoking hot on the outside, their pussy can smell like fucking lilacs in the spring—but inside it can be deadly. I will never be caught without a condom and that’s the fucking truth.

I usually order the damn things in bulk, but there’s been hurricanes everywhere and I’m not risking my dick because of a delayed shipment.

I wheel my cart around—only having a cart because I’m a lazy ass motherfucker who wants to lean on it, but also because the boss told me to pick up some beer and shit for the club. Other chapters have open bars and crap. Our group is smaller. There’s a room, there’s a fucking wall of refrigerators and a bar where the alcohol goes. There’s no bartender and we stock that shit ourselves. We’re trying to convince our Prez, Diesel, to get the prospects to do that shit. But the bastard has been dealing with people trying to steal his kid since day one almost, and he’s very picky about who he trusts. Prospects for the club have guarded access at best until they prove themselves, and there’s very few of those. I can’t say as I blame him.

My usual brand of condom is the “Legend.” I don’t mean to brag, but fuck, the name fits my cock. It’s made for big and wide, both of which—thank God—is me. If I was one of these poor bastards born with a pencil dick I probably would have swallowed a bullet by now. Some men can deal with that blow from Mother Nature—hell, maybe they even compensate by learning to use their tongues to bag their women, fuck if I know. I just know I’m not one of those men. I love my dick and it works out well the women do too.

They don’t sell Legends at K-Mart, and that sucks. I find the extra-large, ribbed for her pleasure and extra strength latex and grab those. I throw about ten boxes in the buggy and they slide down until they’re leaning against the three cartons of beer.

“Planning a party?” a soft voice asks me and that’s when it happens. The moment my dick gets so tangled up in a woman the bastard will never get free—which sucks, because my dick and I are attached.

She’s beautiful. A long, silky-haired brunette with eyes the shade of whiskey. Her skin is a golden tan and so smooth I ache to touch it just looking at her. She’s dressed in a white skirt that hugs her curves—and she’s got a lot of them—and falls just at the edge of the prettiest knees I’ve ever seen. Her legs don’t have stockings on, it’s just them, and they’re as golden as the rest of her. A woman who lays out in the sun and lets the rays worship her body. That’s the image that comes to mind and I fight down the urge to adjust myself—evidence my dick has the same image.
