He'll do anything in the world for her...including sharing her with his best friend.

I'm not a good girl.
This town has had it out for me from a young age.

Jessie has done everything in the world for me that he could. And when I got thrown in juvie, he was there every visitation day, calling every week, and writing me every single day.

But now I'm out. And it's time for me to jump back into the real world.

I preferred juvie.

This town still hates me. My mother is still my biggest enemy.

Jessie is doing everything he can to keep me fighting...
But he may not be enough by himself.

Because Lincoln lights a fire in my soul, gives me hope where there wasn't any before.

Jessie may be my rock, but he's going to need Lincoln to make sure I don't continue sinking.

Trigger warnings: postpartum psychosis, postpartum depression, nervous breakdown, pregnancy, age gap, menage (two men sharing one woman)

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

PROLOGUE

West

Jessie rolled to a stop in front of my old high school. I stared out the window and heaved a sigh at the sight of the red brick building.

I really, really hated school. It was hell before, and I knew it was going to be hell now. Not a goddamn thing was going to change.

Good things didn’t happen to people like me.

Jessie rested his arm on the steering wheel, his other hand on the gear shift as he looked over at me through his Oakleys. “It’s part of your probation, girly,” he reminded me. I made a disgusted sound in the back of my throat that had a sexy smirk tilting his lips. My core clenched at the sight of it. “It’s one hell hole or another. You’ve just got to decide which one is worst.”

I pushed my fingers through my long, dyed red hair. “Yeah, I know,” I grumbled. Didn’t mean I had to like either of the choices though.

Jessie released a soft sigh. I looked over at him, running my eyes over his handsome features. There was a light five o’clock shadow on his face since he hadn’t shaved this morning. Jessie really was gorgeous—just totally out of my league. Jessie was successful with his own garage, his own home, and a numerous number of cars.

Me? I had just gotten out of juvie after being inside for three damn years. I didn’t have a single fucking thing going for me.

“Just remember that you get to spend the rest of the day in the garage when you get out of school.” Trust me, I was grasping that knowledge with both hands. Before getting arrested, Jessie had given me a job at the garage to not only help put my own money into my pocket but to give me an outlet for all my anger and frustration. Without him, I wouldn’t have even been given this opportunity to be free.

Without Jessie though, they probably would have just shipped me off to prison as soon as I turned eighteen.

“You’ve just got to make it through each day. You only have this semester and you’re done, West,” Jessie quietly reminded me.

I nodded at him. One semester. That was it. But I knew it was going to be tough as hell to get through.

With a small sigh, I slid out of the car, snatching my black Jansport bag from the floorboard as I did. I stood on the sidewalk and watched Jessie speed off in his Nissan 350z, switching through his gears smoother than any racer I’d ever known.

And I couldn’t help but wish that he was driving me away from this shit hole.

But it was like he said—I’ve got to decide which one is worst: high school or jail. And I really didn’t want to go to fucking jail or prison. Juvie sucked enough.

I pushed through the entrance of the school, instantly grimacing at the loud noise in the middle of the commons area. Everyone was in their little groups, and it was like no one knew the meaning of inside voices.

A girl with braces and her hair in a ponytail handed me a piece of paper. “Everyone is meeting in the auditorium this morning,” she informed me as she juggled the other papers in her arm.

But as soon as she looked up and her eyes landed on my face, she sneered. I bristled. “And here we thought we were done with the likes of you, Thompson.”

I rolled my eyes, not bothering to respond as I walked around her.

Scratch that. Juvie was already beginning to look like the better option.

1

Lincoln

“I’d rather go to fucking jail.” I heard a girl’s voice snap as Jessie stepped into the bay that I was working in, a red-haired girl hot on his heels.

And fuck, she was hot as hell.

“You say that now until you get back in there, girly,” Jessie told her as he nodded his head to me in a greeting.

“At least in jail, I can punch a self-righteous bitch in her fucking face!” the girl barked at him, her green eyes sparking with fire.

He tossed her a small bag, and she easily caught it in her hands, her eyes narrowed on my best friend. “Stop whining and get changed. These cars aren’t going to fix themselves,” he told her, ignoring her last statement to him.

She curled her lip up at him, making him smirk at her before she huffed in aggravation and turned on her heel. “Who’s she?” I asked Jessie as soon as she disappeared into the office.

“Remember Loretta Thompson—the slutty, high waitress from Jim’s the other night?” he asked me. I nodded in answer. Jessie shrugged. “That’s her daughter.” I arched an eyebrow at him. I was pretty sure I would have remembered her if I’d ever seen her before, and if her mother lived in town, I should have already known about her. “Girl worked in my garage before she got caught up in a lot of bad shit. I made a deal with the judge that she could stay with me instead of her mother when she got released from juvie and that I’d keep her busy and out of trouble. He agreed, so she’s staying with me.”
She finds comfort in misery… Are they enough to finally make her glow again?

I never truly get better.
I just learn how to go through the motions and hope for the best.
When I’m having a panic attack in the middle of the library, a guy with dark hair, even darker eyes, and tattoos comes to my rescue, walking me through the steps to ground myself.
Now, he wants to breathe life into me.
I’ll give him a chance, but I’m pretty sure my darkness is going to run him away.
And when his brother comes home from the military with his own demons… Well, I can’t expect either of them to help me.

Trigger warnings: mental health disorders such as – but not limited to – depression and anxiety, mfm menage (two men sharing one woman), mental health medication, overdosing, miscarriage, self-hate, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, sexual assault, abuse

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

SPIRALING

Ally

I frowned as I stared down at the textbook in front of me. I hadn't been getting much sleep lately, and it was making it hard to concentrate on my schoolwork.

I had kind of placed my life around school. It kept me grounded, gave me something to focus on. But times like these, when my anxiety started acting up and my depression took a plunge, it was hard for me to do the things that kept me sane.

I shoved my textbook away from me and frowned down at the table, my chest feeling tight. Today was my dad's birthday, and he hadn't spoken to me in three years now.

After I had spiraled to the point that I was hospitalized in a mental health facility, my parents had turned their backs on me. I ruined their perfect little image that they tried so hard to keep up. So, I was shunned, just as my brother was.

All because we didn’t fit into their perfect little lifestyle.

My phone began to vibrate on the table, jerking me out of my head. I picked it up when I saw my older brother's name on the screen.

"Axel," I whispered when I answered. I swallowed thickly. "Why is it still so hard?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"You were Dad's little girl, Ally," my brother said softly, understanding in his tone. My chest squeezed. He knew me so well. I didn’t even have to elaborate. He instantly knew today would be a hard day for me. "He turned his back on you. It's normal for it to hurt, for it to bother you."

"I didn't ask to be this fucked up," I croaked, my voice breaking. Why did I have to be made out to be the bad guy? If I could be normal, I would.

Axel growled softly. "Ally, don't," he warned me. "Don't do this to yourself. You're not fucked up. You have bipolar depression; you went through hell and back to control that and overcome postpartum psychosis,” he reminded me. I rubbed at my chest, that ache never fading. It was just something I was living with. I’d been pregnant when I found my boyfriend cheating on me. I overdosed on my medication. And after finding out I’d lost my baby…well, I sort of lost myself, too. “I know it feels like your loss, but it's Mom and Dad's loss for not wanting to know the amazing, beautiful, young woman you've grown into."

Axel had never lost faith in me. Even when I lost faith in myself, was so lost in my hatred of the world that I self-destructed, he had always believed in me.

"Can I come stay with you guys for a few days?" I asked him. "I feel myself slipping, Axel, and I'm scared," I shakily admitted. "I don't know how to stop it."

"Sis, our home is always open to you," Axel reminded me. "I'll let Julian and Meghan know you're coming."

"Thank you, Axel–for never giving up on me," I told him, my voice soft and filled with gratitude.

"I love you, Ally. No matter how bad this shit gets for you, I'm always here for you if you'll let me," he promised. "Come on home."

A little over two years ago when I had been released from the center, I had moved in with my older brother. Since he and his best friend are both with the same woman, I moved in with all of them. Meghan, my brother's wife, had been my rock while I was in the center, and to this day, she was still always there for me when I needed her, even if it was at the drop of a hat.

I honestly didn't know if I would have made it to where I am today without her.

Which is quite hilarious considering I used to hate her guts. I hated her for taking my brother from me. I hated her for having everything I’d ever wanted–unconditional love, a family that gave a damn…

But when my eyes finally opened, I realized she was far from my enemy. Meghan taught me how to swim in treacherous waters.

I quickly packed my bag, but my phone vibrated again as I got ready to zip my bag up. Frowning, I picked it up off the table, my heart beginning to race in my chest when I saw my dad's name on my phone screen.

I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to remember how to breathe, trying to remember how to stop my anxiety attack. Why was he reaching out now after all this time?

I couldn't remember, and I was panicking.

I gasped for air, hot tears sliding down my cheeks as I struggled to breathe. Black spots were dancing in my vision, and my ears were beginning to ring, a sure sign that I was moments away from completely losing my grip and passing out. It happened more often than not.
I lived and breathed dancing. Without it, I was a shell - a mess of a young woman with no outlet for the pain and torment residing inside of myself.
But everything changed when I met him.

We were toxic. God only knew why we loved each other so much.

He was part of my downfall.

But them together?
They'll be my salvation.

Because I'm Julian's goddess, and I'm Axel's fighter.
I bleed brown and blue.

My name is Meghan Fallows.
And this is my painful, yet beautifully tragic story.

Trigger warnings: miscarriage, self-harm, drug abuse, mental health illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and nervous breakdowns, mfm menage (two men sharing one woman)

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

I tapped my pencil on the table in front of me in boredom, a sigh of irritation slipping past my lips. I was in my last class of the day, and it was dragging, to put it mildly. I had already stopped taking notes, completely zoning out from the lecture as I fought to keep my eyes open. I knew the professor posted all of his power points online. Honestly, I could pass the class with an A without ever dragging my lazy ass to the lecture hall, but he was one of those picky professors that graded his students on attendance as well.

So, unfortunately, I had to come to class if I wanted to continue passing. Attendance was a huge part of our final grade.

I leaned back in my seat, my eyes landing on Julian Markos almost subconsciously. He was the school’s star senior quarterback. Julian would be graduating this year, but instead of going into a job that would be in the field he had majored in, he was going pro.

Rumors had it all over the country that he would be the next Tom Brady. I had seen him play, and I knew the rumors to be true. He was a God on the football field. He owned it. It seemed when he played, the wind favored him. I hadn’t seen him struggle once.

And off the field? Julian Markos was every woman’s fantasy. His olive-toned skin was covered in black tattoos. I was pretty sure there wasn’t a hint of color on his body. Inky black hair always sat in a messy array of curls that made you want to sink your fingers into the soft depths—maybe even tug.

But those eyes he had? They were such a startling shade of blue—so blue that when he focused them on you, it momentarily rendered you speechless.

I snapped out of my daze when everyone suddenly began to get out of their seats, blocking my view of Julian. With a thankful sigh that class was finally over, I grabbed my already packed bag off the floor and quickly began making my way to the exit, wanting nothing more than to get out of that classroom so I could go practice for my dance routine tomorrow that I would be performing at half-time.

This was my one chance to impress a scout and possibly be given a shot to dance professionally. It was my biggest dream—had been since I’d found an escape in letting my body go, just focusing on the movement of my body.

My best friend, who was also my dance partner when I needed to practice, was waiting outside of the lecture hall for me. He nodded once in greeting to Julian, who I hadn’t even realized was right behind me. I quickly moved to stand beside Vincent.

“Ready for the game tomorrow night?” Julian’s deep voice rumbled from behind me.

Chills of awareness raced down my spine, and my body flushed at the sound of his voice.

Was it normal for a man to have such an effect on me?

“Always,” Vincent easily replied as he protectively draped an arm around my shoulder. “I’ll be at the field in a few for practice. I just need to walk her to dance,” he informed the quarterback.

Julian looked down at me, a smirk twisting his lips as he ran his eyes over me. He looked extra sinful today. His black hair was messily hanging over his forehead, obviously in need of a cut, and his striking blue eyes seemed to suck me right into the depths of his soul.

“Yeah, she looks like the ballerina type,” he mocked.

Fuck you.

I instantly bristled, all of the lust I had been feeling completely gone. How dare he assume I was a ballerina? I wasn’t a ballerina. I was a fucking hip-hop dancer. I fucking hated it when people assumed just because I danced that I was a fucking ballerina. Don’t get me wrong; I had nothing against them. They could do things I’d never be able to, but we were two totally different types of dancers.

Julian smirked down at me, amusement ringing in his blue eyes. I scowled, but my annoyance only seemed to amuse him further.

Without another word, Julian turned on his heel, his large, muscular body moving down the hallway. “What an asshole,” I seethed, forcing my hands to relax at my sides when I realized I’d had them clenched.

Vincent laughed softly as he began to lead me in the opposite direction that Julian went. “You ready for tomorrow night?” he asked me.

I blew out a nervous breath, thinking of the dance I would have to put on tomorrow. “No,” I confessed. Vincent gently squeezed my shoulders. “I’m extremely nervous. There will be recruiters from professional dance companies out there,” I reminded him. “My future is on the line here. This is practically a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” As my dance teacher continuously reminded all of us.
