Chaos is inevitable when fate pairs the executioner of evil with a man of righteousness.
In all the years that Adres Cavalerie has inhabited the earth, he never thought he would discover his connection to the Prophesy within the Volkov Alphas stronghold.
As the oldest living vampire, Adres was also the strongest immortal of his time with abilities that surpassed comprehension. He was a warrior and guardian, a champion for the downtrodden and forgotten. His name was legendary, the brutal ways he killed, notorious. But there was a secret to his madness that no one of this world understood.
Until his evil soul comes into contact with Macauley Volkov’s righteous wolf.
“You may be a master at hiding your scent.” The alpha dipped his head low and pressed his nose to Adres’s temple, breaking through one of his impentrable shields, “but, I smell the real you … vampire.”
Adres has come to the White Mountain alphas to fulfill a duty and leave, but after one scent of the virtuous wolf he knew he wasn’t going anywhere. The Prophesy led him to Macauley and his light… Adres can’t turn away from the only hope of freeing his cursed heart.
He had to find out who else he was, and why fate has chosen someone as damaged as him to end the Prophesy?
Via Books

Adres was still miles away from the Alpha Zenith’s pack lands, but with his enhanced hearing he knew they were aware of his approach. Adres had traveled to the other side of the world from his beautiful home in Romania to pay a debt to the vampire king and his second-in-command, the Lord High, Belleron Liatos. King Chadwick Bentley had left his royal palace in Newcastle, England, for the sprawling, wintery White Mountain Forest of the Volkov alphas, a centuries-old generation line that had been blessed by the Mother to protect her coveted children, all wolf shifters.

King Bentley and his court now resided on these sacred grounds with his true beloved, the alpha of all alphas, Justice Volkov. Rumors of the pair’s miraculous mating had traveled far and wide, since there hadn’t been a fate-match between a vampire and a shifter in over a thousand years. Adres didn’t know why the Mother had seen fit to recreate this union now, but he could only assume it had to do with the prophesy that vampires and shifters would one day need to unite again in order to defeat a common enemy. But after years of shamans, elders, seers, and witches predicting this so-called prophesy, no one had seen any evidence of the premonitions becoming reality.

Until a few months ago.

After one of his brothers had gone through a near-death experience, as the eldest Cavalerie, Adres had stood sentinel at his bedside as he recovered. While his brother Andrei healed, his cherished told Adres of the Volkov alpha who had stopped and risked his own life to save one of their kind. With her heavy Hispanic accent, she had told him of the Lord High’s beloved, that he’d shifted into an all-black wolf with flames for eyes. A divinity no one had seen for centuries. She’d described how he’d leapt into the burning building and saved her amado, then emerged from the flames without a hair singed.

If the fire-god had returned, then Adres needed to see for himself. So, instead of getting on a jet and returning to his home after Andrei had recovered, he found himself in uncharted territory.

It was dangerous to breach the Mother’s land without invitation. Any vampire would surely meet his demise within minutes if it attacked. But Adres didn’t come to harm; he came bearing a gift his king would not refuse. When he was close enough for them to scent him, he put up all of his shields to protect his mind and soul from their powers. Adres was well-educated and knew that the Volkov alphas were descendants of the first Siberian dawn wolf, and each of them possessed an energy force that could attack from afar. And, as he moved through the dense forest, he could see a clearing that opened ahead, and just beyond stood his king next to his true beloved, with their army and pack behind them. Adres assumed they could feel how strong he was, though he was blocking them from his true identity.

Adres was still hundreds of yards away, but he was able to see when the vampire king removed his fitted black suit and crouched on his hands and knees. The air shimmered around him, and a sonic boom shook the earth as the king shifted into a massive white tiger.

Adres’s steps faltered. It is true.

Justice Volkov shifted into his intimidating white-and-gray wolf and stood beside his mate. Adres was almost too stunned to continue moving. He thought they were going to charge forward at him as he tightened his impenetrable shields, but neither of them had to move to knock Adres off his feet.

King Chadwick Bentley lifted his large head and released an ear-deafening roar at the same time that Justice pushed his energy in his direction. Together the king and alpha produced a powerful surge that took Adres down to one knee, but not for long. Futu-i! He struggled to his feet, registering their surprise when the Alpha Zenith and the king shifted back to their human forms.

“That should’ve worked,” Justice Volkov said in his deep voice.

“It’s the vampire,” the king answered his mate. “I think it’s only one.”

“Let him move in,” Justice said, glaring into the trees. “No one attacks unless I give the command.”

Adres was glad to hear the AZ announce that. It was said that Justice Volkov’s wolf was the just and fair one, and for Adres’s sake, he hoped that was true. He used his flash speed and emerged through the tree line into the open compound. Beyond him were houses and cabins centered around a sprawling two-story home. The towering trees and deep valleys surrounding their land had made breaching their fortress a difficult journey, but a welcome one. If these had been different circumstances, Adres might have stood and marveled at the beautiful property, at the wonders of nature, but he wasn’t there for a pleasure visit. He had a duty to fulfill.
Shifter and Vampire True Mates story.
Alek’s older brother, Justice—the Alpha Zenith—was the first shifter to mate with a vampire in many generations, and it was believed the rare, fated pairing would stop at him. But, it hadn’t. Aleksei ‘Alek’ Volkov was second beta, next in succession to the most powerful shifter in the world. He was proud of his title and he took his duties seriously. It was all he had. Until his true mate literally showed up on his doorstep.
While his brother—the overachiever—excelled at having a vampire as a mate, Alek wasn’t that optimistic he would. He wasn’t averse to love, and he’d often thought of how different his life could’ve turned out if he’d ever experienced the emotion. His life was a mess and he’d worn a mask of stability for a majority of that time, only showing his siblings and pack what they needed to see—a strong Volkov alpha. Not the damaged man he was, with a tortured soul and a rogue wolf.
Alek dropped his heavy head in his hands. Now, for some reason, I’ve been granted a true vampire mate. And not just any vampire. The intimidating Belleron Liatos. Lord High to the King and the leader of his army.
Belleron ‘Bell’ Liatos had come to the states for one reason—his best friend and Vampire King, Chadwick Bentley. He certainly didn’t come to be pounced on by a wolf that could act independently of its master. Not only was his destined cherished a complicated and confused man; but he was also unaware of the powerful presence that lurked in the shadows of his soul. Bell didn’t know he’d be the key to unlocking an exceptional triad that would play a critical role in fulfilling the prophesy.
***This story DOES NOT contain or even mention MPREG. No multiple pairings. No cliffhangers. Ends with a very HFN.
Warning: This book is M/M paranormal: If you DO NOT like alpha men shifting into large wolves, or vampires feeding from their destined beloveds, than this may not be the novel for you.

Books in Series:

The King & Alpha Series by A.E. Via

Books by Author:

A.E. Via Books

Alek came to slowly as sunlight broke through the early morning gloom. His blackout drapes were parted just enough for him to see the slivers of light blue within the lingering darkness. Normally this was his favorite time of the day, but this morning was like none other. For the first time in his thirty-one years he hadn’t woken alone. Sighing, Alek turned his nose into his mate’s long black hair and inhaled the clean scent that he hoped remained there at all times. He’d only met his mate—Belleron—a few days ago, so he wasn’t exactly sure.

He kept silent, sensing the powerful vampire in his arms rousing from a light slumber. It was amazing how much he could already feel of their partial bond. They hadn’t made love yet, but he’d allowed Bell to feed from him for the first time last night, the memory causing a satisfying tremor to run down his spine. His mate’s bite was unlike any pleasure he could’ve imagined. So wonderful that he thought he might not deserve it, as if the blessed Mother had somehow for the first time in her infinite existence made a mistake. Aleksei Volkov was damaged goods—a man with a torn soul, and a rogue wolf. And for some reason, he’d been granted a true vampire mate. And not just any vampire. The second most powerful in the world—Lord High to the King, and his right hand, and leader and commander of his army. Alek closed his eyes and thought of how Bell had come to him so bravely last night, even though Wolf had ruined their first meeting. Alek’s heart sped up when he thought of his other half. To say the two of them did not always get along was the understatement of his existence. He allowed Wolf out to do his job as first beta to the Alpha Zenith to keep order in the many packs they governed, but nothing more. He couldn’t be trusted for anything else. Not for fun, and damn sure not for pleasure. Wolf could lose his temper and there wouldn’t be a damn thing Alek could do about it. That much was evident when Wolf had first laid eyes on Bell. He’d emerged and caused trouble without warning while Alek had become a livid, defenseless bystander.

“I don’t remember the last time I was up at dawn,” Bell said, pulling Alek from his private thoughts. “Our bodies are programmed to hibernate during the day. For protection, not because we need the rest.”

Alek bathed in Bell’s tone. His mate’s voice was as silken as his skin. He could listen to it all day. “You don’t sound alarmed to see the sun coming up. Should I close the drapes all the way?” Alek asked, tightening his arm over Bell’s chest. He was anxious to feel all of the vampire’s body, but he was also trying to be a gentleman.

“No. I um. Oh gods. Chadwick told me about this. Now that he lives off the pure blood of a shifter he’s able to walk in the daylight and not burn, so that he can always be with his beloved night and day.” Bell’s deep breaths could be heard in the dim room, “I’ve been the Vampire King’s best friend for over seventy years, and never in our wildest dreams did we envision our beloveds would be shifters. This is the first pairing of its kind in so many generations that I can’t help but wonder, why now?”

“I wonder, too.” Alek stared at Bell’s inky-black mane, then took the long streak of stark white hair and moved it over his shoulder, trying hard to focus on his mate’s words, and not his appearance. They’d only slept a few hours early this morning, having conversed all night. There was so much he wanted to know, so much he wanted to reveal.

“Your brother and Wick look inseparable, and seem to have it all figured out in a very short amount of time.”

Alek swallowed thickly. Man, he hoped Bell couldn’t sense his nervousness. He’d never thought he’d be in this predicament—responsible for a mate. The real beast was riding him closer than ever, and this had to be the reason why. “Maybe not all of it. My brother had a hard time in the beginning, and Wick had to test his level of patience like never before to get him to understand.”

“It’s a good thing vampires are patient.”

Alek couldn’t see Bell’s face, but he could hear his smile. Oh, I hope so beautiful. Alek had to clear the huskiness from his voice. “Are you an understanding person, Belleron? Patient?”

“In a few months I will have walked this earth for an entire century. I’ve acquired many skills over that time. Patience is one of my strongest.” Bell turned and faced him, his movements causing a waft of his amazing scent to wash over him and his bed. Everything about Belleron overwhelmed him. Alek inhaled sharply as his gaze roamed over Bell’s handsome face. He wanted him right then, and an urge like none other came over Alek to claim Bell completely.
An Enemies to Lovers ---- Shifter, Vampire True Mates story.
Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. Now at age thirty-three, he is alpha of the alphas. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice, himself is sometimes able to control.
His wolf howled long and hard but Justice kept it inside. It felt like a bass drum beating against his rib cage. The harsh breaths, angry snarls and the determined pacing inside him was overtaking him.
Justice takes his role of leadership and his legacy very seriously. He has little time for romance, not to mention a true mate. His packs are his priority. With a human government trying to regulate them, an uprising of rogue shifters, and a violent team of scientists trying to experiment on them, Justice has his hands way too full.
Chadwick ‘Wick’ Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. At over one-hundred years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.
“Natural enemies can’t be mates.” Or so Justice thought. He knows his skepticism and rejection is hurting his mate, so while he fights their connection, Wick gets help from a source very close to Justice to help him win his beloved’s heart. Wick is a force all on his own, but when he’s blessed with a special gift from the Mother herself, not even Justice’s powerful wolf can prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled.
****This story DOES NOT contain/mention MPREG. No multiple pairings. No cliffhangers. It ends with a very HFN.
****Warning: This book is MM paranormal: If you DO NOT like hot, alpha men shifting into large wolves, or vampires feeding from their mates, this may not be your read.

If you look behind me, you can see all the mayhem and chaos. It’s a nightmare. Shifters and vampires fighting in the middle of the street. Pedestrians are afraid to walk through here to get to their residences. Businesses are closing early out of fear.

Justice rubbed his hand across his forehead while he listened to the news anchorwoman over-dramatize the events. The recording was on a loop. There were five wolves and three vampires posturing behind her. Between the way the vampires moved with lightning fast speed and the intimidating growls of the wolves, it was understandable humans would be frightened.

“When was this?” Justice asked.

“Last night. The wolves are still in holding cells in Carson City.”

“Send a few pack leaders to get them, please.” Justice kept his anger to himself. It was a rancid odor no shifter liked to smell. When his brother didn’t respond, Justice looked up from his desk. His brother was almost as tall as him at six feet two. Justice’s hair wasn’t as curly as his brother’s and his eyes were an astonishing shade of arctic blue, while Alek’s eyes were a shade paler. A trait passed down from the original pack of Siberian wolves they were descended from. His brother looked uncomfortable. “Spit it out, Alek.”

“The governor of Nevada is requesting to see you personally. He won’t release the shifters to anyone else.” Alek rolled his eyes. “I tried to reason with the man, but he’s being a bit difficult. I told him you were extremely busy, Alpha.”

“This is crazy. I can’t go to Nevada right now. I’m still working with the Secretary of State on getting them to approve our new registration system.”

“It looks like we have no choice. The mayor is threatening to get the National Guard involved.” Alek shook his head sadly when Justice’s head shot up in surprise.

“The National Guard? Alek?” Justice lifted his nose and scented. His brother wasn’t being dishonest, but he wasn’t telling him the whole truth, either.

Alek sighed, knowing he was busted, and opened a thick manila envelope that Justice had paid little attention to. “This is the print-out of attacks and incidents involving shifters and vampires reported in Nevada in just the last eight months.”

Justice growled, making his brother struggle against his energy. His brothers Alek, Macauley, and Taleb were all very strong alphas, but none held an ounce of the power that Justice had. He was careful to lock down his strength when he was around other shifters. Especially alphas. It could make their wolves anxious to feel pushed. Justice took a calming breath.

“All of that happened in only eight months? Why didn’t I know about this?” Justice stood to his full height.

“I put one of the pack leaders in charge of Nevada and—”

Justice cut his brother off. “Never mind, I just called a meeting.” Justice was able to communicate with all the shifters telepathically. Some were a bit rebellious and would put up blockers or have witches cast spells to protect their thoughts, but if Justice really wanted to exert his full power, none of those things would keep him out. “We need to get this resolved. If it gets reported to the National Guard that I have lost control of the shifters, then the government will try to take them from me. Lock them in cages for years for even the slightest infraction.”

“This could start a war, Alpha,” his brother said seriously.

There was no way they could face another war. It’d been over two hundred years since the last one. It was still used as a teaching tool on what not to do. Whether between shifters, vampires or humans, if they fought, the casualties would be too great on all sides for any species to call it a victory.

“But you want to meet now, when we’re here visiting on another pack’s land? We should not talk politics here, Justice.” His brother continued to voice his concerns as a couple members of his pack came into the room.

“They’re far enough away and enjoying the celebration too much to hear us. Justice raised his nose and took a couple deep inhales. He smelled no one around except the ones he’d summoned – his immediate circle.

Justice pointed to the long conference table next to the patio door and gestured for his pack to take a seat. Justice sat at the head, letting his large frame sink down in the chair. The accommodations while he was visiting the Black Mountain Pack had been top of the line. He was used to packs going out of their way to receive him when he visited. Either for business or pleasure. He refused to stay in hotels. There was no way that his wolf would handle that. He had to be free to shift and roam. He also couldn’t connect with his wolves if he was in the city, twelve stories up.
