“Oh yes—there! Right there,” she moans and grinds her face against me. Is she reaching the edge as well? Am I giving her so much pleasure that she’s coming? The idea makes me even harder. Gods, it’s like I never came at all!

But at last she shutters to a stop and pushes my face gently away.

“You’re doing so well, my Paladin,” she murmurs as I look up at her, panting. “I’ve never had such excellent service before! Truly, your tongue is magical.”

My cock surges again at her words and I feel a sense of pride I’ve only felt in the past when I laid the head of a dragon at the feet of my liege lord. I gave her pleasure…and her honey is still smeared all over my mouth and chin and cheeks.

“Thank you, my Lady,” I say hoarsely. “For fulfilling my fantasy. For giving me what I’ve dreamed of for years.”

“Ah, Alaric—this is only the beginning,” she promises, smiling down at me. “You know, for a virgin, you’re very good at giving pleasure. How did you manage it?”

I feel my cheeks get hot but I answer truthfully.

“I’ve dreamed of it so often…rehearsed in my mind what I would do.”

“Of course, you did.” She strokes my cheek. “You were meant to be owned—meant to be mine.”

And at that moment, belonging to her is all I want. I forget that I’m the highest ranking knight in all of Solaris. All I want is to stay kneeling at her feet, pleasuring her with my mouth until the end of time.

Unbidden, new words rise to my lips.

“My Lady Sylvanna,” I say. “I vow myself to your service. My body shall be your shield, my shoulders shall bear your burdens, and my lips shall keep your secrets. I will pleasure you in times of joy and comfort you in times of distress. Not a drop of your blood shall fall unless all of mine has first been shed. I will not leave your side until you bid me to go.”

Her eyes are suddenly bright.

“Oh, Alaric—that’s beautiful. Thank you,” she says gently.

“Mistress, I mean every word,” I tell her. I wish fiercely that I could gather her into my arms. I want to hold her now…or maybe I want her to hold me. I can’t tell. I just know I want to be close to her.

But apparently that isn’t allowed for she takes a step back and closes her robe to hide her beautiful body.

“Rise, my Paladin,” she says. “The Ritual of Binding is over and your Oath has been accepted. I will keep you by my side until you ask to be released.”

I can’t imagine wanting to leave her now—though a part of me knows I’m here on a quest that has to end sometime. Eventually I must get The Heart of the Eclipse and bring it back to the GodKing—to whom I also swore a binding oath.

But for now, I just want to stay here with Sylvanna and never leave her side.

Sylvanna

The pure devotion shining in his beautiful blue eyes almost undoes me. I can tell that he’s been waiting his whole life for this—to submit to the right woman. It surprises me how much I feel for my new Blood-servant, though I haven’t known him long at all.

Of course, part of my affection for him comes from knowing so much of his past. I’m glad that the Jewel of Knowing isn’t addictive or destructive—it’s been so helpful. Still, I’ll take it off when I sleep tonight. It’s better not to use any magical artifact for too long, unless it’s made to be used long term. Like the Collar of Control and the magical cockring I placed on Alaric—those won’t harm him even if he wears them the entire time he stays in my service.

I murmur a quick cleaning spell to wipe away the wine of the circle and his seed which was spilled during the ritual. I hope my Paladin enjoyed his orgasm—it’s the last he’ll get for some time. Then I lead him into the bed chamber.

“Where do I sleep? Beside you?” he rumbles and casts a hopeful look at the bed.

I shake my head.

“No, I don’t allow my Blood-servants to sleep with me.” I don’t elaborate on that—don’t tell him that the last man who slept at my side was Kraven and he tried to Drain me. It’s going to take me some time to trust again. Even a male as straightforward as Alaric appears to be will have to prove himself before I can feel comfortable letting him sleep at my side.

“Where then? On the fucking floor?” he asks, scowling.

“I have a servant’s bed—it pulls out from the foot of my own bed.”

I walk to the carved wooden end of my tall canopy bed and push the hidden latch in the footboard. A trundle bed comes sliding out. It’s not quite long enough for Alaric’s immense height, but he can curl up or let his legs hang over the end. And the mattress is extremely comfortable.
