He rammed me down on him and groaned into my chest.

After a few lovely moments, he fell forward, and I let out an “Oof!” when he landed on me. But no matter how big he was, I adored taking his weight.

Then again, he never made me bear it for very long before he took some of it from me.

Like now.

Thus commenced our stroking, nuzzling and cuddling portion of the morning, which was almost (but not quite) as good as the sex.

Eventually, he lifted his head.

“Clean up and coffee,” he said.

I nodded.

As was Javi’s way, he carried me to the bathroom, and after he set me on the edge of the vanity, with kisses on my lips and neck, he cleaned between my legs.

When he was done, he rinsed and smoothed the cloth on the edge of his sink (it still troubled me a little how careful he was with everything he owned, but on the other hand, it was great to have a guy who cared about that kind of thing) and said, “Be back with coffee.”

I nodded again.

Even though I could do it on my own, he helped me hop off the counter then went to the bedroom.

I followed him, seeing him pull on a pair of loose shorts before he headed out.

I tugged on one of his tees and went back to the bathroom to do my morning gig.

Suffice it to say, I was developing another morning ritual, and I liked this one a whole lot better than my other one.

I was in bed with my brush, brushing my hair, when Javi came back with the coffee.

Another part of our morning ritual was him setting mine on my nightstand before he crawled over me to his side of the bed.

I always enjoyed the show.

And I loved that he didn’t bother to walk to his side of the bed, instead, he crawled over me so he could give me the show up close and personal.

All around, I was just falling in love with this guy.

Think that might freak me?

Oh no.

Because I knew he was doing the same with me.

Not a doubt in my mind.

Not that first one.

Now, do you think that’s crazy?

Remember…

Groom carrying his bride.

Enough said.

He stretched out his long legs and sipped while he went for his phone.

I put my brush away and sipped then went for mine.

“See you women figured out Clampitt’s bullshit,” Javi remarked.

I looked his way to see he was thumbing the screen on his phone.

“Sorry?”

He turned to me. “Liam texted. Said Luna, Shanti and Tex did another pass through of Clampitt’s apartment. Primary focus, bedroom. Just a note, the cops know you’ve been there too, the split seal was a dead giveaway, and you have Mace to thank for them not tagging you about it.”

I’d thank Mace later.

Now, I asked, “You know what he’s been up to?”

“That he’d fuck chicks and film it and make their life a living hell until they forked over whatever they could afford for him to delete the videos? Yeah.”

Oh my God!

We were right!

And Javi was sharing!

Also, evidence was pointing to the fact Trev was more of a jerk than we guessed, and we already thought he was a big fat jerk.

I turned more fully to him. “Did Kevin tell you that?”

He nodded, then took a sip of coffee.

“Did Trevor delete the footage?” I asked.

“As far as Johanssen knew. Yeah.”

“But he landed a big one,” I went on.

Javi shook his head. “Johanssen didn’t give us that. All he’s saying is that was the play, and he figured someone got ticked at Trev, maybe thought he didn’t delete, when he swore he did.”

“You don’t buy it.”

Javi held my gaze as he took another sip, but he didn’t say anything.

They didn’t buy it.

“Did Kevin do that kind of stuff?” I asked.

“Another no from him, and since we got his phone and laptop and had a good look through both, we’re inclined to believe him.”

At least Kevin wasn’t that level of A-hole.

And now we knew (or once I told all the girls that would be a we) who had Kevin’s phone and laptop.

“The two bad dudes Cap and Gabe got on Saturday?” I pushed.

“Sorry, baby,” he murmured. “As your prize for being my hot, slutty cheerleader and making her man come hard, you got confirmation you women are on the right track. But that’s all you get.”

I…

He…

What?!

“You-you confirmed that be-because I…we…because of what just happened?” I spluttered.

His beautiful face split into a huge grin. “No. I woulda done it anyway. But now that my good girl is back, I like reminding her how bad she can be. She gets all uptight. It’s cute.”

Ugh!

I rolled my eyes, and while taking a sip of my coffee, I grabbed my phone.

I then choked on my coffee when I saw I had two missed calls from Dad already that morning.
