Leaning into the backseat, she messes with something behind the little dog before grabbing him. “Thank you,” she calls over her shoulder and races toward my SUV. After I’m sure she’s settled in the warm vehicle, I get to work changing her tire.

By the time I finish the job, I’m a soaking wet mess. I throw the flat tire in her trunk and lay the tools next to it. I’ll have one of the guys take it down to Drake’s garage tomorrow and get it repaired.

I feel her eyes moving over me as I walk to the SUV. After knocking on the passenger window, I wait patiently while she finds the button to open it. “All finished, kitten,” I tell her and feel a funny little squeezing sensation in my chest. My hissing little kitten has turned my cock to stone.

“Thank you.” The dog growls at me, and she shushes the little shit before rolling her expressive eyes. “Sorry about Luv Bug. She doesn’t do well with strangers.” She points at my shirt. “And sorry about your clothes.” The rain has slowed to a trickle, but my suit is soaked through. The gorgeous girl leans over and runs her eyes down the front of my body, causing my blood to heat. “I’ll pay you for changing my tire and your dry cleaning,” she offers.

“That’s not necessary.” Then an idea pops into my mind. “Why don’t you let me take you to dinner for payment?”

“Uh.” Her eyes pop wide before she blinks several times. “You buying me dinner doesn’t exactly pay you for helping me.”

“Spending time with you will more than make up for a little bit of work.” I wink at her and watch the adorable blush reappear on her cheeks. She hasn’t opened the door, and I don’t want to lose any ground with her, so I introduce myself through the crack in the window. “I’m Jason Montoya, but my friends call me Cash.” She stares at me for a few seconds, and I start to sweat.

My stubborn curvy girl unlocks and opens the door before holding her hand out. “Hadley Eaton.” She smiles shyly.

“Nice to meet you, Hadley.” I lift her hand to my mouth and place a soft kiss across her knuckles.

“You, uh,” she clears her throat, “too.” Then she pulls her hand away and glances down at her watch and gasps. “Oh, shoot. I need to get my arrangement delivered. Maybe we can talk about dinner some other time?”

Remembering that she told me she was lost, I ask, “What address are you trying to find?” I don’t like the idea of my girl walking up to some stranger’s door, so I look for any reason to keep her from leaving. She reels off the address of the compound and relief hits me. “That’s my place,” I tell her, and she blinks several times as suspicion fills her eyes.

Hadley’s eyes narrow as she swallows. “Mr. Davis ordered the flowers.”

“Rulie Davis is my friend and employee. I’m the President of the Silver Spoon MC.” I attempt to reassure her. “Gloria, Rulie’s wife, is our housekeeper at the clubhouse.” She looks even more suspicious now. “I’m headed there right now,” I explain, but she doesn’t appear to believe me. Pulling out my driver’s license, I point out my address and watch some of the tension drain from her curvy frame. Wanting to keep my privacy, I have an apartment in town next to my office where I stay most of the time, but I use the compound as my legal address.

The beauty bites her lip while staring at my license, then she glances back up at me. The suspicion has faded from her stunning blue eyes. “Could you give me directions?” She smiles.

“If you want to follow me, I’ll lead you there.”

She grabs the fur ball and smiles. “Thank you. It seems you’re determined to save me again.”

Keeping her safe and happy is my goal for the future.

I watch her buckle the little fur ball into its doggy car seat, then I hop into my SUV. My phone screen is glowing and I notice a text from Hands. His surgery ran late and he won’t be at the compound tonight. As I slowly drive down the long, winding lane that leads to the compound, I keep checking my rearview mirror to make sure she’s still behind me.

Rulie’s little fuck-up dropped my soulmate right in my lap.

We pull up in front of the two-story, white, plantation-style home. When we decided to build our clubhouse next to the Silver Spoon Ranch, one of our brothers, Lynch, stepped in to help design a building that compliments the structures on the ranch next door. After passing the circular driveway, I park in front of the four-car garage. Hopping out of the SUV, I signal for Hadley to stop in the circular drive.
