I lift my hips and then push back inside her. The friction is intense—fuck, all of it is intense.

Her eyes start to drift closed, but I’m not having it. “Look at me, Sky. I need your eyes on me.”

She looks up at me, and I stare into her eyes as I pump in and out of her. She’s practically vibrating around me, and I know I’m not going to last much longer. I reach between us and stroke her clit. She’s already sensitive, and her pussy heats and floods. The only sound in the room is our heavy breathing, her whimpers, and the sound of our bodies slapping against each other.

“Come with me, sweets.”

Her orgasm hits hard and fast, and she clamps down on me like a vise. I can barely pump in and out of her, but my orgasm takes me over the edge, and I pump my seed deep inside her, groaning her name and saying “mine” over and over.

I’m trying to hold my weight off her, but she has her arms and legs wrapped around me, and she pulls me closer. “Don’t move. Not yet.”

I know she’s going to be sore, and the last thing I want to do is cause her any more pain. I pull out and lie next to her, pulling her flush against me. Already I can feel my body reacting to the feel of her, and I have no doubt that I’m addicted.

I wait for the guilt to set in. This is Logan’s little sister, and he’s going to be pissed, but I can’t even force myself to care right now. This connection with Skyler is everything, and I don’t want to resist it. I can’t.

The only thing I’m second-guessing is if I was too rough on her. “You should have told me.”

She presses her cheek against my chest. “I didn’t want you to stop. I didn’t want you to tell me that we should wait or that we shouldn’t… you know.”

I blow out a breath and brush my hand down her hair. “Baby, I would have waited until you were ready… I could have given you more time, made sure you were ready.”

She leans her head back and looks at me. “More ready than that? Is that even possible? I wanted you, Zach. Please don’t regret what happened.”

I cup her cheek. “Baby, there are no regrets.”

I swear it’s on the tip of my tongue to tell her I love her. I’m about to say it, but I hold back. When I tell her, I want to be able to do it with nothing hanging over our heads. No stalker, no pissed-off brother and friend. I want her to not have any reason to hold back from me.

“Are you okay?” I ask her.

She nods and blushes prettily.

I stroke a finger along her cheek. “Next time will be better.”

She blinks in surprise. “Next time?”

I kiss her softly and pull back before it gets out of hand. “Yeah, baby. I told you that this is more than just a way to pass time. We’re going to be together, Sky.”

She opens her mouth but quickly closes it and leans into me, hiding her face. I want to ask her what she’s thinking, but I feel that I’ve already pushed her limits, and we have time to figure out everything.

“Shower with me.”

She’s drawing circles on my chest, but at that, she stops. “You want me to shower with you?”

I nod. “Yeah, baby. Let’s shower together.”

I sit, drawing her up with me. My arms are around her, and I’m walking her to the bathroom when my phone rings. I look at it on the nightstand and tense. “It’s Logan.”

Sky’s eyes widen, and I force a smile to my face. “Go ahead and get started. I’ll be right there.”

She moves to the bathroom but stands in the doorway, watching me. I pick up my phone and answer. “Hey, Logan.”

There’s static over the line, but I’m able to make out that he’s asking about Sky. “She’s fine. She had a brand trip, and we’re up in Booker, TN.”

Logan blurts out questions one after another. “Have you found the stalker? Where is Sky now? It’s been days, Zach. Are you any closer to—”

Sky is staring at me from across the room, still naked. I have to avert my eyes from her body, so I stare up at the ceiling. “I’m getting close. There’s been a few clues he’s left. He had flowers delivered, and I was able to track down a description of the buyer from the florist.”

Sky’s mouth drops open. I’ve tried to shield her from the case as much as possible, and she’s surprised that we have clues and are closing in.

“Where is my sister now?”

I let my gaze travel down Skyler’s body. “She’s here… in the hotel room.”
