She’d begged me to let her cut her hair before school started last year, but Colton had had ten kinds of fits so we just layered the front a bit, which now that I think about it was the right way to go. It falls just perfectly along her well- pronounced cheekbones and draws the eye to her perfect features.

The girl is a damn knockout and she’s not wearing so much as lip-gloss, another one of Colton’s dictates. He still inspects her before she leaves the house and I don’t have the heart to tell him that she could change her whole appearance once she gets to school.

I happen to know for a fact that she’s never done and would never even give it a thought like so many others have done before. That’s how much she fears and respects her daddy. My poor child, I gotta do something before that nut destroys what’s left of her childhood.

I watched her a little while longer, before turning away as a plan began to form in my head. I can’t believe I didn’t think of this, it was always my go to in the past. It probably didn’t occur to me to try because in a house full of kids it’s damn near impossible to seduce my man these days. Nearly but not quite.

I grinned mischievously as I headed for our en suite bathroom to get prepared for the night ahead. It will be a few hours before the rest of the house settles down enough for me to put my plan in motion… I gotta remember to tell Catalina not to make one of her nightly visits to our room to give her daddy fits, snort.

I chose the bath salts, the music, got the scented candles out and tidied up the room a little before turning the light out and leaving. I was already getting excited at what was to come. It’s a dirty trick but no more than he deserves for being so damn stubborn.

I found my trusty kegel eggs in the drawer where I keep them and slipped back into the bathroom to put them in before washing up and going to look for the triplets. I hadn’t heard a peep out of them in a while and that might not be good with their sister on the loose.

The fuck is she up to now? Sneaky fuck is about to zing my ass with something I’m sure. I know all her looks by now and the one she’s wearing does not bode well for my ass. All through dinner she kept giving me looks, when she wasn’t turning red as a cherry each time she looked at her nasty ass sons.

I tried to remember what she had going on but couldn’t come up with anything that would put that look on her face. I was just grateful that she’d let the Caitiebear thing drop for now, but I wasn’t fooling myself that I’d heard the end of it. She’s worse than Mengele’s dog when she gets something between her teeth.

I waited for the room to clear and it was just her and I at the table while her kids went off to the kitchen to put the dishes in the dishwasher and clean up. They’re pretty good at that shit, even the little one who usually gripes with her miserable ass before doing anything that doesn’t involve her blowing up some shit.

I tapped my fingers on the table and studied her as she pretended not to notice me watching her. “What is it that you want now Katarina?” She gave me that damn ‘who me’ look and went back to rubbing her finger along the grain of the dining room table. She’d decided some time ago that we were to have all family dinners in here instead of around the kitchen table where we use to.

Don’t ask me the fuck why, her kids are still hellions around the dinner table, so if she was trying to teach them how to perform in a more formal setting she was shit outta luck. For that shit to work Mengele’s crazy ass would have to be in another state and or time zone. But the one time I mentioned it she got all huffy.

“What do you mean? Who says I want anything from you?” A thirty-five almost thirty-six year old woman pouting is hot as hell; who knew? She got up from the table and I damn near swallowed my tongue. I wasn’t here when she came to the dinner table, I was upstairs putting the last of the trips down for the night, I hope. So I’d missed the show.

“Where’d you get those shorts?” I was up like a shot and she ran from the room squealing because she knew what was coming. I ran her to ground in the hallway right outside the kitchen where her kids were trying to bang holes in the damn pots.
