“We’ve made it work for the most part, you Lily down to part time, me working nights, then taking the day shift so you can still manage Kissme Sweet Shop, but you’re right. A little one waking up in the middle of the night, getting the boys off to school, we’ll have to do some fine tuning,” I state, one of my hands leave her stomach going to the nape of her neck, moving the hair so that I can place a kiss against her sun kissed skin, feeling our little girl kick against the palm of my other hand.

“We’ll make it work,” the slight hitch in her breathing, my wife still lights up for me with one small touch. If the boys were with their grandparents, I’d be taking advantage of this moment, turning off the oven, stripping her bare, placing her legs spread open on the kitchen counter, and using my mouth between those full lush thighs of my wife.

“Don’t stop,” she moves the pot off the burner, giving me more of her weight, my hand drops lower, knowing that with just a few sweeps of my fingers along her clit, and Lily’s body will be more than ready to go. I’m talking she lights up like it’s the Fourth of July, wetness coating my fingers, her begging me to make her come, and once I slide inside Lily she’ll be falling apart.

“I would, but your boys are bound and determined to terrorize something if we don’t keep our eyes glued to them twenty-four hours a day seven days a week,” earlier today both boys got into mischief with Hudson being the ringleader, the instigator of the two. Lane is along for the ride and for taking the fall when they get caught doing something they shouldn’t be. Last week it was the two of them in the barn, going through the tack, attempting to clean the reins Lily uses on Emma when she’s not pregnant. Except using water and soap almost dried it out until I walked in, showing them the correct way in doing it while also telling them it’s off limits unless an adult was around.

“Why are they my boys when they’re bad but yours when they’re good?” Lily replies saucily over her shoulder. I back away, not talking about our kids while getting my woman off.

“That’s because you’re the one that created the mischief makers, they get it honestly, from their mother, honey,” Lily’s brother might be the troublemaker of the two but from what her parents say, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Hudson and Lane.

“Are they giving you a run for your money, old man?” If she only had any idea what they were doing when I took a phone call regarding the Tipsy Cow. One, five minute phone call and they were scheming something, and this was after the tack incident.

“Damn straight, make sure our little girl is the calm one of the bunch, will you?” I press my side to the counter while watching Lily getting back to working on dinner, knowing she’ll pay me back later on tonight once the house is quiet and the only thing that will be heard is the soft moans of her and I together.

“I’ll start telling little Delilah here that she needs to go easy on her daddy,” when it came to names, we both looked through the never-ending lists of baby boy and baby girl names, with the boy Lily wanted them to have strong names, something similar to my own and for our little girl well it was me that wanted our daughter to have something similar to Lily.

“I’d be much obliged, I better get back out there. Do the boys and I have enough time to ride the south pasture? Old man Bob said that he thought the fence was down between our properties, we can’t have our bull out there impregnating his heifers for free,” last night I made cheeseburgers, asparagus, and French fries for dinner, tonight it’s Lily’s choice to figure out what we’re having for dinner. We usually take turns when it comes to dinner or make it together, with me needing to fix a potentially down fence it looks like she’ll be on her own.

“If it means an hour of peace, be still my heart. I’m going to plop this in the oven and take a bath,” Lily places her hand on her forehead, being dramatic yet I know she’ll enjoy the time to herself.

“I’ll take my time then, call my cell if you need anything but we’ll be home in an hour or so. Maybe I’ll get the boys nice and tired, then they’ll give us fifteen minutes and I can join you in the bath,” I wiggle my eyebrows, laying my intentions out.
