He’d never been possessive of anyone before and didn’t like this feeling at all.
The resort is your playground. Don’t limit yourself.
He tried to convince himself that he hadn’t had sex with anyone else for the last two weeks because he had too much sex the week they were guests.
But deep down, even he didn’t believe that.
Yes, they’d had a lot of sex, but it wasn’t any more or less than what he normally would have had.
The fact that he had zero interest in anyone else right now scared the shit out of him since it never happened to him before. He also never had such a deep attraction to anyone the same as this. Where he couldn’t get enough.
It wasn’t only for one or the other. It had been both of them. How could he fall this deeply for two people at the same damn time? And in only one week?
Was he sick? Did he snap?
Or was he simply tired of the revolving door in his wing? Finding new sex partners every night could be exhausting. Not only would he have to find the right ones, they had to figure out boundaries.
He now knew most of what turned on Heath and Cara as well as what turned them off. What their limits were. How to get them to orgasm more quickly or how to selfishly delay it.
Quite simply, the three of them had fallen into an easy sexual relationship. They gelled.
Finding partners to take their place, even for a night, would take more work right now than he was willing to do.
He couldn’t wrap his head around it all. The hollowness in his chest. The crazy feeling of loss. The even crazier realization he currently had no interest in others.
This was not Dayne Lyons. He had to have been a victim of body snatchers. No other plausible explanation existed.
While he hated to have to go to his brother for advice, he needed to talk to someone about it. If anyone would understand what he was experiencing, it would be his twin, since Dylan had gone through the same thing.
Only, look where Dylan was now. In a committed relationship. With both a man and a woman. Is that what Dayne wanted?
Shit.
The three of them only spent a week together. A damn week! Less than seven days wasn’t enough to determine whether he wanted a committed—or even semi-committed—relationship with them.
Heath lived in New Jersey. Cara in Carlisle. A long-distance commitment meant he’d hardly ever have sex again. Especially since their visits would most likely be few and far between since both had busy lives elsewhere.
He couldn’t survive that.
A bit dramatic? Sure. One thing Dayne was serious about was sex.
Unfortunately, when he went to find Dylan, his twin wasn’t alone. Their sister Danica was hanging out in their brother’s office, too.
Of course, a day couldn’t end without him giving one or both of his siblings shit. Being a shit-stirrer was in his blood. “Are you two discussing our crazy food bills and how to keep it within the budget I gave you?”
Dani barked out a laugh. “Budget? What’s a budget? Quality ingredients are priceless.”
Dayne rolled his eyes and, with a huff, threw himself into the seat next to her.
“What’s up?” Dylan asked with his brow pulled low.
“I need to talk to you about something.”
“So, talk. Nothing has ever stopped you from running your trap before.”
Dayne glanced over at Dani, waiting for her to excuse herself.
Of course, she didn’t. “If it has to do with the business, I want to hear it, too, since I’m a silent partner.”
Dayne snorted. “You are far from silent.”
Dylan shook his head. “Okay, spill. I have important things to do.”
“Are you saying I’m not important?”
“If that’s what you heard…”
“I think I’m broken,” Dayne reluctantly confessed.
“You’re only figuring this out now?” Dani snort-laughed. “We’ve known it since you were two.”
“You weren’t even born yet when Dyl Weed and I were two.”
Dani grinned and shrugged. “Mom said you are the way you are due to a lack of oxygen to your brain.”
“Then it’s Dylan’s fault. He hogged the womb.”
Dylan clicked his tongue. “I should’ve choked you with the umbilical cord. What a wasted opportunity.”
“I’m telling Mom.”
One side of Dylan’s mouth pulled up. “She’d agree with me.”
“Boy, Ford and Erin have really changed you. Though, despite the effort, you’re still not funny.”
“What do you want, Dayne? Is it important? Or are you in here to waste my time?”
“And mine,” Dani added.
“You could leave at any time, sis,” Dayne suggested. “No one’s making you stay.”
She tapped a finger against her bottom lip. “I don’t know. You look a little green around the gills. Is it an STD? Did you knock up one of the guests and need to take a paternity test?”
Dylan’s expression turned from amused to serious in a flash. “You better not be spreading shit around this resort. And if you—”
