They’d forgotten a condom again.

She needed to see her doctor about birth control, because right or wrong, sin or not, she wasn’t giving up the pleasure she shared with Pierce Walker. He owned her—heart and body.

And he loved her.

Rough breaths and damp skin aside, she smiled up at him. “That was better than dinner.”

He smiled in return. “Way better. Want to finish the pasta now or…”

When he nodded toward the stairs, she didn’t hesitate. “Definitely or.”

“Hmm, you’re perfect.” Pierce kissed her, then eased free of her body before helping her off the table.

Brea stood on unsteady feet. “I’ll put the food back in the oven.”

“Great. I’ll start the shower.”

“Shower?”

His grin widened. “I want to clean you up before I dirty you again.”

She bit her lip shyly. He had a wonderfully filthy mind. “That sounds good.”

“I’m going for awesome. You can tell me later if I get there.” He cradled her face in his hands. “I don’t ever want to give you a reason to go to bed with anyone else.”

She blushed. He must know she wouldn’t. But his expression said otherwise.

Then again, she’d given him too many reasons to think she was still romantically involved with Cutter. She needed to sit him down and set him straight.

Promise me you won’t ever tell him we’re not a couple. That will be like waving a red cape in a bull’s face.

“Don’t keep me waiting.” Pierce kissed her, then dashed up the stairs.

Brea covered their dishes, then schlepped them into the oven. Back in the dining room, she picked up their clothes and left them folded on the table. Then she headed up the stairs.

She heard the water running, but he hadn’t turned on any lights. She stopped halfway down the shadowy hall. The air pinged with tension. “Pierce?”

Brea felt his body heat behind her an instant before he pressed himself into her back and plastered her, front first, against the wall.

He nuzzled his face in her neck. “You’re still naked.”

His breath made her shiver. Her own turned choppy. “Yes.”

“Good. I like you that way.” Pierce took her hands and tangled their fingers together. She had no idea what he was doing until he pressed her palms flat against the wall. “Keep them here.” Then he shoved his feet between hers and nudged them apart. “I want you splayed out and helpless. You can’t stop me from kissing your neck or playing with your pussy. I can rub against you, put my scent all over you, slide my dick inside you again.”

And he could. Already she could feel him hard and prodding her backside.

A thick ache of desire she would have sworn moments ago would be impossible to feel replaced her languid satisfaction. “You’re a very bad man.”

“Who gets off defiling this very good girl.”

As his lips trailed across her shoulder, his palms roamed down her ribs, curled in with her waist, then curved out to follow the shape of her hips. His fingers skimmed back and forth, dangerously close to where she ached.

“Pierce…”

“Pretty girl?”

“You’re torturing me.” Her head fell back to his shoulder, exposing her throat.

He took advantage of the vulnerable space she’d ceded, dragging his lips up her neck to whisper hotly in her ear. “You want me again?”

It was as if all Pierce had to do was touch her and her body went up in flames.

“Yes.”

“Not until I can fuck you properly. I want you in my bed, all spread out—waiting and panting and mine.”

When he took her hand and led her to the bathroom, she frowned. “You’re mean.”

“Poor baby…” He shot her a dark smile. “Don’t worry. I won’t make you wait more than an hour or two.”

“What?” she screeched in protest, every inch of her skin already sizzling and tingling for him again.

He laughed as he eased her into the wide walk-in shower. As the warm water cascaded down her body, she moaned with a whole different kind of pleasure, then tilted her head back and let the spray drench her. When she opened her eyes, she found Pierce staring as if he’d never seen any sight sexier in his life.

Brea felt confident, like a vixen who could wrap her big man around her little finger. “Come here. Don’t you want to be wet like me?”

“That’s a dangerous question.”

“Is it?” She raised a brow at him. “What are you going to do?”

His laugh was anything but reassuring. “You can’t even begin to guess. I’ve had weeks to dream up the filthiest ways imaginable to make you scream. My list is long and obscene.”

She shivered. If anyone had asked her before meeting Pierce what her sex life would be like ideally one day, she would have said things like loving, pleasant, considerate, and sensitive. But the need he inspired in her was carnal, almost animal. She couldn’t not want him.
