Leah removed the blanket from her chest and sat Benjamin up. Her shirt was slightly open, but he reached for his son, taking him and placing him on his chest, where he rubbed.
“Mommy, you don’t use dark magic, do you?” Kylie asked.
“No, there’s no reason to use dark magic. Always good.” She winked at Kylie.
David showed signs of having magic. Killian didn’t know if his children would turn into wolves, or if they would possess magic or have both.
When he asked Leah if she wanted to find out, she let him know that to discover a child’s magical gift was in essence dark magic. Some gifts came naturally to them, and she didn’t want to ruin the surprise.
Killian agreed with her. He hoped they all had the magical gift and that none of them turned into wolves. Mainly because a wolf’s first time was so fucking painful.
Staring at his children, he had a feeling Kylie was going to be a wolf, as was David. His wolf sensed something within them, but he wouldn’t push it.
