“Papi, I was thinking that I don’t deserve a spanking!”
“You don’t deserve a spanking? Are you sure about that? What were you caught doing this afternoon?”
“I was trying to get to Evil Elfie!”
“Get to Evil Elfie?” he repeated. “Why would you need to get to the elf? And why is he evil?”
Because he kept tattling on her to Santa and Papi.
Hmm. That probably wasn’t what she should tell Papi, though.
“I was worried about him,” she lied.
But it was all right because she crossed her fingers behind her back. So then it didn’t count toward naughty girl points with Santa.
That was a well-known fact.
“Worried about him?” he repeated.
“I mean, he was a long way up, what if he fell?”
“Kitten, are you lying to me?” he queried as he sat back on the sofa and crooked a finger at her.
“Um. What makes you say that?” She slowly walked over to him, and he lifted her onto his lap so she was sitting sideways across it.
“Because you spend most of your time glaring at the elf. And you called him Evil Elfie.”
“How do you know that? Did he tell you? That tattletale!”
But, seriously, how did he know that she glared at him?
“Yes, he told me that you glare at him. Sometimes, Santa is busy so the elf reports back to Daddies and Papis. Your elf has a lot to say.”
“All of it are lies!”
“None of it are lies. You need to be very careful, Pequeña, or Santa will leave you coal in your stocking instead of gifts.”
That would be terrible!
All of her friends would get gifts except for her.
How could she rectify this?
Tell the truth?
Nah, that didn’t seem like a good idea.
Maybe make up another excuse?
Also not a good idea.
Oh, she was definitely in a lot of trouble.
“This time it wasn’t just the elf reporting back, though. Both Rafael and Bernard caught you red-handed hanging off the banister. That was very naughty, wasn’t it? You could have hurt yourself really badly. What if you’d fallen? What if you’d hit your head or snapped your neck? Did you think of that?”
Okay. So maybe she hadn’t been thinking.
She’d gotten a bit carried away in the heat of the moment.
“I wasn’t thinking very clearly,” she told him.
He caught her chin and turned her head toward him. “No, you weren’t. You forgot that you’re the most important thing in Papi’s world and that he would be lost without you.”
Shoot. He sounded so disappointed and upset. And she hated disappointing Alejandro more than anything.
“I’m sorry, Papi.”
“So am I. I’m sorry that I have to spank you the day before your friends arrive.”
“Well, you could just not spank me,” she suggested.
“I don’t think so, I can’t have you thinking that you can risk yourself all the time. And this spanking will have to be more severe than the one I gave you yesterday.”
“Why?” she cried, trying to get away from him. “My bottom still hurts from that one.”
“Because it obviously didn’t make enough of an impression,” he told her firmly. “You need to learn. No putting yourself in danger.” He stood her up on her feet and drew down her yoga pants.
Then he stared at her panties.
“How many panties do you have on?” he asked.
“Um, eight.”
“Eight?” he said incredulously.
“Yes. It’s actually very comfortable.”
“You might as well wear a diaper instead,” he commented dryly as he dragged them down her legs, one by one.
“Papi! That’s not very nice. I’m a big girl. I don’t need a diaper.”
“No, what you need is a paddling,” he said once her bottom half was naked. “Go and get it.”
Oh noooo.
Not the naughty girl paddle.
She stuck her lower lip out. “But isn’t your hand enough, Papi?”
“It is not. I told you this spanking would be harder. It will also be longer. Go and get it, I don’t want to have to tell you twice.”
She moved over to his desk and opened a drawer with the naughty girl paddle. She now had several of them scattered throughout this house and their Manhattan home.
Hmm.
She glanced at the fire, then down at the wooden paddle.
“Don’t even think about it,” he warned. “That would get you the belt. And every night this week.”
“But it’s nearly Christmas!” she cried.
“That’s right. You’d be getting a spanking Christmas Day if you threw the paddle in the fire.”
Jeez.
That would just bre mean.
But it worked. She hastily moved back to him with the paddle held safely in her hand.
Alejandro took the paddle and placed it on the sofa next to him. Then he helped her lie over his lap. He got her into place before rubbing his hand over her bottom.
“Warm-up first. Then we’ll get to the real thing. Have you got anything to say for yourself?”
No.
Nothing other than she was feeling sorry for herself. And she was wishing she’d never laid eyes on Evil Elfie. Also, she was going to dream of revenge. But she wouldn’t go ahead with it until after Christmas.
