I’m surrounded by Isabel and my other wedding attendants, nearly asleep myself.

However, my princes are waiting for me.

Prince Casen left the celebrations first, and Prince Jasper followed shortly after him, surrounded by his own wedding party. It is a tradition for the groom to be escorted by his friends to the royal bedchamber.

Now I’m to be offered to him. After my visit, such a torrid affair, I was escorted back to my own kingdom and Jasper asked for my hand in marriage. Isabel has been my chaperone since then and we both have priorities to attend to in our own kingdoms, so I’ve only been able to indulge in my new life with both of my partners for small chunks of time.

And in that time, Jasper requested that there be no need for me to see my doctor to confirm my virginity as he had his own doctor who would attend to matters. As I’ve heard, the doctor was paid a hefty sum in jewels his own wife favored to never lay a finger on me unless I come down with sickness or request him myself and to report to the king whatever it is he wanted to hear. All of my worries were for naught.

My escorts now draw me into a smaller bedchamber near the prince’s rooms and help me out of my wedding gown. Isabel has had a nightgown laid out for me, and a hot bath. There is much laughter as they help me rinse the long day off me and dry me off and braid my hair. Many of the women whisper advice into my ear about my wedding night. Isabel whispers that I have already had the equivalent of several wedding nights, so I should try my best to enjoy myself.

Then they lead me to the prince’s chambers and knock on the door. When Isabel knocks, Prince Jasper—my husband, now—opens it with a wide grin on his handsome face. He wears a nightshirt that is like mine, and all I can think when I see him in it is that I would like to see him out of it.

Isabel presents me to him, telling him that if I do not have the most perfect wedding night, they will make him pay tomorrow. He promises that I will have a wedding night like nothing any princess has ever known before, then shuts the door on all of them.

I’m sure the guards who stand in the hall surely have heard worse.

Prince Casen, who had been leaning behind the door all the while, steps out then and kisses me. He has had to wait for his turn for most of the day—most of two days, now—and I can tell he has grown impatient.

I have been impatient, too.

“I missed you,” I tell him, though he was there for almost all the celebrations and could hardly be pulled away from his brother’s side.

He kisses me back and does not have to say that he missed me, too.

Then his hands are on my nightgown, and he and his brother take it off me together. It is finally our wedding night.

Casen

I’ve not told many people this, but when I was captured during the war, I worried most for my brother.

If I died, it would ruin him. Jasper has always been the more soft-hearted of the two of us, and I knew that my body being returned to the castle would turn him into a man he never wanted to be. It would consume him, even if the war ended. He would spend the rest of his life avenging me, and probably never marry. Our kingdom would surely come to ruins. Though we were almost sure by then that he could not have children of his own, he could have had a family, and I didn’t want to take that from him.

When I was returned, I thought for many months that it would have been better if I’d died. He could not stand to see me the way I was and wanted to search the earth for a way to repair the damage.

My scars mark my survival, but losing my voice…never hearing again my own voice, was something I didn’t manage well. A few words in bed with Cora and loving the way she moans as I manage them, it heals me in a way I didn’t know could exist.

Still, for all that, my brother was the first one to accept that some damage cannot be undone. My mother has not yet reached that point, and I don’t know if she ever will. Although tonight, I saw her smile so joyously and hug me as if the war had never even happened.

But Cora has never known me to be any other way.

When the three of us tumble into bed on what must be our wedding night—I thought the guests would never leave, and the celebrating would never end—she licks down the front of me, straight to my cock, then wets it with her mouth until it is slick enough to climb on.
