“No chance. But I get it, because I was worried about underwhelming you.”
He drew me into his arms and murmured, “That’s not even possible.”
Later on, after we’d cleaned up a bit and returned to the bed, my stomach rumbled so loudly that both of us laughed. “We definitely need to think about dinner,” he said. “We can order in, or I can take you someplace nice.”
“Let’s stay home.”
“Are you sure? You’ve barely begun exploring the city, and we could go somewhere you haven’t been yet.”
“All I want to do tonight is curl up with you and our cat and eat pizza in front of the TV, like an old, married couple. And really, there’s no hurry to get out there and explore. We have plenty of time.”
“You’re right,” Miller said, as his hand returned to my chest. “We do.”
