When it didn’t stop, Sienna squeezed her eyes closed as if to block the sound. She popped them both open again when she felt fur touch her.
She looked up to discover Surge had stepped behind her. He wrapped his huge body around her protectively. When their eyes met, he communicated with her without words.

Jayce lifted a hip and pulled his cell phone out of his pocket. “I’m not surprised someone is calling,” he muttered. “Yep. Felix. Shocker.”
Jayce connected the call and put it on speaker.
Felix didn’t wait for a greeting. “Hey. Sienna had a vision.”
“Yes.” Jayce’s eyes widened. “Now Khloe can sense when Sienna has a vision?”
“Apparently.”
Another call came in. Jayce chuckled. “Hold on. Let me add Elias.” He pulled in the third party. “Hey, Elias. Let me guess, Leah knows Sienna had a vision.”
“Yes. Is everything okay?”
“As far as I know,” Jayce responded. “I don’t know what any of her visions mean. She doesn’t either. We should probably meet.”
Sienna stiffened at the idea of another gathering of Alphas and their mates. She wanted to be brave and outgoing, but it wasn’t in her nature. She had no experience with people. She’d spent twenty years mostly keeping to herself, not trusting others. She’d held a secret that made her uncomfortable around anyone—the marked and the unmarked—so she’d spent her time alone and isolated.
Right up until the day of her mating ceremony, no one knew about her mark. She wondered what they all thought now that she’d disappeared. Her parents would be fielding the questions. Luckily Sienna wasn’t the one who had to deal with the surprised neighbors and peers.

At least she knew their names were Khloe and Leah. She would probably recognize them when she saw them. There had to be a reason, and she suspected it was because the details of each couple or their homes would come in handy. But that idea was scary in and of itself.
Sienna popped the pacifier in her mouth as her Daddy ended the call. Her stress level was through the roof. He pulled her against his chest and started rocking, rubbing her back. “I’m so sorry, Baby girl. I know this is a lot for you to handle. I’m going to be with you every step of the way. I won’t even set you down without your approval. You can keep your pacifier around your neck. If things get too intense, I’ll know you need a break anytime you put it in your mouth. She nodded against him. There was no way for him to fully eliminate the anxiety she felt, but he was the best Daddy in the universe, and he was doing everything possible to protect her from her own insecurities. She loved him for it, and she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight.
“Let’s get your diaper changed. Elias is contacting the rest of the pack. Everyone will gather at his place in a few hours.”
She whimpered. The idea made her want to vomit. But she also knew she had a role to play in this pack. These people were her family. She needed to be brave and do whatever the universe was calling upon her to do.
Daddy rose and carried her to the changing table. He lowered her to her back and lifted her arms above her head before securing her wrists.
