"You told me," I lie.

"Oh. Did I also tell you that you made my pussy wet?"

"No, you didn't." My voice is gravelly and rough, wanting nothing more than to drag that blanket off of her and get a long look at her wet pussy.

"Hey, Darius?"

“Yeah, baby?" I smirk. There's no way she’ll remember this

conversation.

"You made my pussy wet," she says, giggling. "Very wet and achy." She's snoring again in the next heartbeat. Shit.

I leave her room quickly and book it down to my truck. Driving home is a must right now. As soon as I am in the door, I have my hand wrapped around my throbbing cock, jerking it to the sight of her lying in bed, staring up at me with ‘fuck me’ eyes. I have never been with a woman, but I want that and more from Stacey.

Sweet, sinful Stacey. She's definitely out to kill me, but what a way to go.

Why did I drink tequila last night? This isn’t like me. I’ve never gone out drinking before, and I let the excitement about being out with Franny get to my head slightly. ‘It seemed like a good idea at the time’ is the best excuse I can come up with. I’m seriously dragging ass this morning as I make it in to work fifteen minutes late. Coffee doesn’t even sound good right now with my queasy stomach, and I love coffee. My stomach turns just at the idea of it. Today is going to suck.

I barely remember getting home last night. Most of it is just blurred memories of someone carrying me up to my room. I’m pretty sure it was Darius because I know Jason wouldn’t let me go home with just anyone. I was so reckless. Anything could have happened to Franny and me last night. I need to be a better friend and look out for her.

When I get into my office, Darius is sitting at his desk in a crisp black suit with a navy blue tie. He looks fucking hot.

“Good morning,” I mumble, right before it hits me. I run to the nearest trash can and fall to my knees in front of it just before I lose everything in my stomach, which isn’t much. I managed to hold it all in until now. The bottle of water I drank when I woke up this morning might not have been the best idea.

Darius is next to me, gathering my hair into one of his hands, so it’s out of the way, and rubbing my back with his other hand. I keep getting sick into the trash can for a few more minutes. When I’m finally done, I rest my forehead against my arm that’s hugging the basket.

I groan. “I hate throwing up.”

“I don’t think anyone is a fan of it,” Darius says with a hint of humor. “Come on, let’s get you off the floor and cleaned up.” He helps me to my feet and guides me to the black leather couch I have in my office. “Sit here and don’t move. I’ll be right back.” He tells me and walks out of the office.

I’m tempted to get up and prove to him that no man will tell me what to do, but my head is spinning, and I don’t think I’ll make it too far without throwing up again. A couple of minutes later, Darius returns with a bottle of water, a wet washcloth, and a few Advil. He sits down beside me and begins to wipe my mouth.

“I can do that.” I murmur and try grabbing for the cloth.

“Let me,” he says, leaving no room for argument.

When he’s finished cleaning me up, he cracks open the water bottle and places three Advil in the palm of my hand. I pop them into my mouth and reach for the bottle, but instead, he raises it to my lips. I glare at him, but he doesn’t relent. I let him hold the bottle to my lips so I can drink enough to take the meds.

When I’m done, he pulls the bottle away from my lips.

“Thank you, Darius.”

“Have you eaten today?”

“Look, I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I’m a big girl. I can take care of myself.” I stand and walk to the door. “I’ll be back in a few. I’m just using the restroom, and then we can go over what we need to do today.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

When I’m finished in the bathroom, Jason is leaning against the wall, waiting for me. “How are you feeling, Stace?” He asks with a grin on his face.

“Oh, hush. I don’t want to hear it from you. I’m sure there were plenty of times you went out and got crazy with your buddies at school.” I say, glaring.

He holds his palms up to me. “Easy there, Stace. I really was just checking on you.”
