Her gaze fell to my stomach, and I flexed a little. Just to be a dick. “I’m surprised you didn’t just let yourself in.”

I would have, had she not moved the spare key. “I’ll be sure to make a copy of the spare next time.” I slid off the hood.

Drew backed up a step, then halted like she was forcing herself to stand up to some bully, and brought her arms across her chest. “What are you doing here?”

“I texted you.” I kept moving toward her, and she didn’t budge.

“I was busy.”

“Nah…” I swept a hand over her cheek, cupping her jaw for a second. My attention went straight to her parted lips, and dammit if I didn’t have to fight the urge to slam my lips to hers. “When it comes to me, you’re never busy, baby girl.”

Her breath caught, and her gaze slipped to my mouth. The thing about it, she may hate me, but she couldn’t hide the fact she was attracted to me. Just like I couldn’t hide my attraction to her. Girls like her only followed guys like me out to a van when we measured up to every sordid fantasy they’d had. And the magnetic pull that kept us coming back was nothing short of raw sexual urge. Drew could hate me all she wanted. Hate never kept anyone from fucking, only from falling in love. And that’s all I wanted from her—a good fuck and a challenge.

So why did I almost feel high by being near her? Why did it bother me when I thought that the most likely reason why she wanted out of Dayton so bad was so she could get away from me? I moved closer, dragging my thumb over her plump lip and smearing her lipstick. “Stealing my thunder to try to get a little vacation?”

Huffing, she pulled her face out of my hold. “I was trying to get expelled.”

“For stealing a history test that wasn’t even a final?” I barked out a laugh, slapping a hand over my slick chest. “Jesus Christ.”

“Whatever.” She started up the sidewalk of her ridiculously oversized, million-dollar house. “It’s only two more months.”

Armani jeans. Expensive car. Attitude out the ass—and that little tidbit was my Kryptonite. She was getting under my skin in ways I didn’t need, and the minute she was out of Dayton, whatever bullshit this was between us would be over. Which I needed.

“What’s it worth to you?” I shouted just before she reached her door.

She stopped. “Getting out of Dayton? A lot.”

“Good.” I started toward her front door. I could help us both out. Get her the hell away from me and get exactly what I wanted—what we both wanted.

She glared at me. “What are you doing?”

“This is called making a deal, baby girl.” I pushed past her, letting myself in and half-rolling my eyes at the new décor. Rich people. Just replacing shit like it was nothing.

She followed me. “What kind of deal?”

“Nice décor...” I rounded the hallway to the kitchen. “And a deal where you get kicked out of Dayton and I get you in a bed.”

“What?” Her brows pulled together. “You are not serious.”

I took a seat at the massive island, glancing around at the kind of kitchen that would Gordon Ramsey jealous. “It’s not like I don’t know you want to. Come on...You followed me out to a van, baby girl.”

“Before I knew what a dick you are.” She backed up to the counter, folding her arms over her chest.

“Like that has anything to do with fucking me.” I snorted a laugh. “For that hour of your life you wouldn’t give a shit how much of a dick I’d been.”

“Some of us have self-respect.”

This shit, huh? “Self-respect?” I pushed up from the seat, and she moved back, gripping the edge of the counter. “Why would you fucking me mean you didn’t have self-respect?” I stepped in front of her, gripping her chin and tilting her head back. “Huh, baby girl?”

“Because I hate you.”

I grabbed onto her waist and lifted her on the counter, placing myself between her thighs. “Yeah? You hate me, baby girl?”

Her chest rose on ragged swells, her cheeks quickly going pink. “So much.”

On a laugh, I leaned in. “Good, it’ll be way more fun when you cave.”

Then I slammed my mouth over hers, fisting her hair as I parted her lips. And she didn’t fight it for a second. Her hands went to my arms, nails digging into my skin while I fucked her mouth with my tongue, imagining it was her pussy. When I felt her legs press into my hips, I pulled away. “Tell me you wouldn’t enjoy it...”

She hesitated, anger ripping across her face. Because she wanted it, just like I wanted it, regardless of how much I hated her—or she hated me.
