“Aren’t you supposed to be at work?” she asked. “Did you come back to take a bubble bath with me?”
Delighted by the invitation, Street chose not to waste the chance. “Glad to see me, hmmm?” he asked, reaching behind him to grab the back of his T-shirt and pull the garment off over his head.
An “Eep!” escaped from her lips before she rushed to ask, “I was trying to make a joke. You’re going to join me?”
“Sure. I seem to be overdressed.” He popped his button open on his jeans and drew the zipper down. Street could almost feel Rosa’s gaze on his body as he pushed the jeans over his hips, removing his boxers with them. He paused a second to yank his socks off before stepping out of his clothing.
“Did you find the toys?” he asked.
“No. You have stuff to play with in the tub?”
“I do.” Street walked to the vanity and pulled out an unopened bag of bath toys. He thanked his impulse to stock this house in case he found his Litte girl and couldn’t wait to see Rosa play. Returning to the tub, he tore the bag open and allowed them to cascade into the suds. Immediately, they popped up on the surface, peeking through the white bubbles. “Dibs on the purple dinosaur.”
“There are dinosaurs?” she asked, combing through the foam, creating gaps in the white mounds shielding her petite form.
Street took advantage of her distraction to step into the opposite side of the tub. He pushed some of the soap suds aside to sit down. As he settled fully into the water their legs brushed against each other, drawing sharp inhales from Rosa as he enjoyed them. The touch seemed to affect her too. Street spotted the animal he’d mentioned. He plucked the toy out of the bath and held it out to her. “Here you go, Dinorosa.”
“Dinorosa? I’d love to be a dinosaur. Then no one would mess with me.”
His heart almost broke at the sadness in her voice. No Little girl should have to battle the world to survive. “Then that’s your official nickname. You can be a badass T-Rex.” Street deliberately used the wrong name for the animal she held. Perhaps he could make her laugh.
She gave him a genuine smile instead that went straight to his heart. Reaching out a hand, she accepted the plastic toy. “This guy’s a brontosaurus.” Her fingers stroked the dinosaur’s long neck. “I love dinosaurs almost as much as jaguars.”
His mind went straight to the gutter and imagined those digits caressing his shaft. Street stifled the groan that threatened to spill from his lips as his body hardened. Being around Rosa totally destroyed his self-control, and Street loved the temptation she offered. “Keep an eye out for the others, Little girl. I bet there are other dinosaurs in the tub with us.”
She held the dinosaur out to him, “Here, StreetStreet, hold please.”
He grinned, discovering she at least cared about him enough to give him a pet name too. She combed through the bubbles, looking for more toys.
“Want to try Daddy, Dinorosa?”
“Daddy?” she asked, pausing in her search.
“I’d love for you to call me Daddy, Little girl. When you’re ready. Until then, you can use StreetStreet if you like that.”
She stared at him for a moment before announcing, “Okay.”
Street spotted something green next to her. “Check by your right knee.” When she turned to her left, he corrected her gently, “Your other right knee.”
She laughed, “I never learned right and left.” Shifting to the other side, she nabbed the green creature and announced, “Stegosaurus! Do you think there’s a T-Rex?”
“I’m pretty sure I saw one in the bag.”
Street reclined on the tub wall and watched Rosa search through the foaminess, her actions allowing him glimpses of her high, upturned breasts. He sent Razor a mental thank you for sending him home. The razzing he would get would be worth this alone.
“You’re hiding it,” Rosa announced, launching herself forward to reach around his torso. Her knee slipped on the bottom of the tub, making her tumble downward onto his chest. Her lithe body slid against him erotically, skyrocketing his arousal even more. Street wrapped an arm around her to hug her securely to his chest. She had to notice his erection pressed against her. “Whoa, Little girl.” He tried to ignore the feel of her curves brushing over his skin and failed miserably.
Damn, she feels good in my arms.
“Sorry, StreetStreet,” she whispered and raised the Tyrannosaurus rex above the water. “I protected you from the bad guy.”
“Thank you, Dinorosa.”
“Why do you call me Dinorosa?”
“You’re full of roars and armored to protect yourself. The Little girl I see peeking out when you’re brave enchants me.”
“I didn’t know people actually got to be Little,” she whispered.
“The courageous ones do, and you’re pretty badass.”
