She quietly walked out the door. She would pick up all the clothes she’d used to mark the path to pleasure the night before, and after she cleaned up no one would know.

Except the ridiculously tall man standing by the stairs, her lacy panties hooked to his hammer.

She started and then made sure her robe covered everything. The guy standing there wasn’t a threat to anything but her dignity. “Gabriel. What the hell?”

Gabriel Lodge. Who was supposed to be back in Dallas. He was standing right there. With her undies.

She reached out and grabbed them.

Gabe was strikingly handsome and definitely dominant, but with an amused air that rarely left him. If they hadn’t grown up so closely together, he might have been someone she was attracted to.

Like she was to Garrett and Keane.

Keane was undeniably dominant, and Garrett moved back and forth in a way that made her pulse quicken.

Gabe’s lips curled up. “I’m supposed to work on the new playroom, but you seem to have had some fun in the old one. You know you might have been conceived in there.”

“I was not.” She felt her whole body go pink. “The playroom used to be in the guesthouse. I might have been conceived there. I don’t even think we had the upstairs back then. Mom didn’t mention you would be here. You could have called. Why didn’t you fly with us yesterday?”

Damn, Gabe had the best luck when it came to finding and putting himself in the middle of drama. Oh, he wouldn’t call it that. He would call it being in the right place at the right time so he could help, but he enjoyed the drama.

“I wasn’t supposed to be. I had another job that fell through,” Gabe admitted with a chuckle.

Sure, he did. She felt her eyes narrow. Gabe worked, but not in a nine-to-five way. He was an excellent carpenter. With a wretchedly large trust fund. Though she rather thought at this point it wasn’t truly a trust fund since he controlled it all. He also controlled his work schedule. So there was only one reason for him to show up out of the blue. Especially when she knew he liked to work alone without the hassle of dealing with contractors. “When did you find out Gigi is here?”

It was Gabe’s turn to flush slightly. “Gigi’s here?”

She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, like you didn’t see her SUV outside.”

She brushed past him, starting down the stairs. She definitely was going to need coffee. Should she wake up the guys? Or see if she could get Gabe out of here first. She could text Gigi and beg her to get Gabe to take her to the café.

If Gigi was awake.

Gabe followed. “I had some time. I thought I should come down and make sure nothing goes wrong. Gigi gets in trouble. Her brothers asked me to keep an eye on her.”

“Her brothers wouldn’t if they knew how hard you perv on her.”

“I don’t…” Gabe huffed. “Why are you here instead of in your own house?”

She stopped on the stairs and picked up her bra and shirt. “Because my house doesn’t have a playroom.”

“Who are they? I assume this is the guys from the wedding. Who are they and what do they do that they can take a couple of days off to act as your studs?” Gabe asked.

“They acted as my Doms,” Olivia countered.

“Then I really want to know who they are.”

She should have known he would get serious the minute she used lifestyle words. “Is this a good time to point out that it’s none of your business?”

He simply stared at her.

She was never getting coffee this way. She walked past him and grabbed the last of her clothes. “The good news is they didn’t take time off their jobs. Turns out this is their job. Garrett is a lawyer who works with Uncle Lucas, and Keane is Aidan’s foreman.”

A brow rose over Gabe’s eyes. “Whoa. They’re the guys who were coming out here to work?”

It was good to know he kept up to date. “Yes. And as for your inevitable next question, no, I didn’t realize the connection. I snuck out like the coward I am and then they showed up on my plane.”

Gabe followed her. “Okay, well, first, not a coward. You are one of the bravest people I know. And second, it seems to have worked out. You know I always did think you would be happiest in a ménage. Although I would have told you it would be best if the top and switch were lovers, too.”

Well, she was kind of working on that. It was clear there was something between them they hadn’t explored. Hadn’t even begun to say out loud until the night before.

She’d done that. She had made that happen, and it filled her with something she couldn’t even name. A good thing. She was good for them, and they seemed to bring out a part of her she hadn’t allowed to have space in years.
