She put a hand on Gabe’s shoulder. “Gabe, I love you like a brother. Stay out of this.”

“Well, I love you like a sister, so I probably won’t.”

She growled at him and strode to the kitchen. At least she didn’t have to feel self-conscious around Gabe. He’d seen her naked plenty of times. The kink family was different, but she enjoyed the intimacy of not worrying about her clothes in the club. Now that she thought about it, she was kind of an exhibitionist. She liked to sit around mostly naked in the bar with her friends.

“What do you know about these guys?” Gabe asked.

“I know my uncle hired them,” she continued as she made her way down the hall. And smelled the coffee. At least her invader had made some coffee. She wondered if she could get Gabe to make breakfast. The events of the night before left her super hungry.

She bet Keane could make eggs. There was a lovely competency about the man that appealed to her.

“Okay, I’ll give you that, but there’s more to know than whether they’re trustworthy enough to hire,” Gabe pointed out. “Oh, hey, I should mention…”

She turned the corner, and there were her friends. Gigi stood at the range flipping pancakes.

Miranda was pouring a mug of coffee. Her eyes lit up when she saw Olivia. “Good morning, you dirty little sub. Did you have a fun time?”

It felt good to be the bad girl for once. She took the coffee. There was no one in this kitchen who would think twice about her spending the night with two hot tops. She felt like she had her groove back. “I was an excellent sub, and my Masters were terrible brutes who barely let me get a moment’s rest. I need that coffee.”

A low chuckle came from behind her. Keane stood in the doorway. “You’re not so obedient. Or maybe I didn’t make it plain. I don’t like it when my sub leaves the bed without kissing me.”

Her heart practically melted. She was in so much trouble.

There was a chiming through the house that stopped her from leaping into his arms. She winced. “That will be the contractors.”

Gabe nodded. “I’ll get it. Gigi, are you making some bacon?”

Gigi wrinkled her nose. “I only found a pound. I don’t think I can feed three of you with that. The new guys look like they can eat, and I know how much you do.”

“I’ve got sausage at my place,” she said. “And yogurt. I think Mom has some fruit. We’ll make it work.”

Gabe left to let the contractors in. Now she saw the upside to having him around. Gabe was a take-charge kind of guy, and while she would never let him take the lead on something she knew well, she was perfectly happy to hand this over to him. It was his area of expertise. And it gave her the chance to cuddle against Keane.

His arms went around her the second she was close. “Good morning, gorgeous.”

He kissed the top of her head and hugged her.

That felt way better than it should. It felt like safety and warmth and desire. But not a jangly “I hope he wants me as much as I want him” feeling. There wasn’t a ton of insecurity in it. Keane felt solid. Like the kind of man one built a foundation and a future with.

Miranda sighed, looking at them with a smile. “That’s so sweet. You know all you’re missing is a lawyer.”

Keane chuckled. “The lawyer is getting ready for work. He snuck back to Livie’s place where all our clothes are.” He looked down at her, heat in his gaze. “He’s probably still in the shower, and you need to get in that shower and explain why the big guy is here.”

Oh, she could do all of that. Her damn nipples immediately perked up, and she felt a tug at her core. “We should go get the sausage.”

Gigi snorted. “Only one kind of sausage you’re getting, girl. And don’t take too long. I have to be out at the resort in a couple of hours to give CPR classes. I even brought along my own dummy. I call him Carl Peter Rong.”

Gigi was a weirdo, and she loved her for it. Olivia pulled back and took Keane’s hand. “Don’t wait for us. We’ll get breakfast at the café if we need to. Keane’s going to have to drop me and Garrett off at the office in town.”

Where it wouldn’t be a terrible thing if they happened to screw right there on her desk. It would definitely put her in a better mood. She had to deal with Scott today. She could use more stress relief, and her guys knew how to give it.

“Livie,” Gabe began as he approached the kitchen. “The cops are here. Something happened.”
