I can’t believe the things I do for my job.

The members of Sp*nked, the new band I’m trying to sign to my family’s record label are making me jump through hoops. Literally. Their latest demand, for me to join them for a night at The Sterling Rope, just might cause me to scream in frustration.

I have no business at the exclusive gentleman's club, where billionaires go to indulge their every fantasy. That is not who I am! But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...

My mission was to go in and get the contract, signed, sealed, and delivered. Nowhere in the agreement was I supposed to fall for the man who owns the naughty club!

Oh my, things definitely don’t go as planned. Once I meet Roman, there’s no turning back. He wants to negotiate a whole different kind of contract with me. And I can’t say no to Mr. Tall, Dark and Naughty.

When the sun sets in Silver Spoon Falls, things heat up at The Sterling Rope. The best girls can find everything their hearts desire within, including some of the town's filthiest billionaires. There are no rules. Only submission.

Chapter 1

Raven

I stick my head in Mitch Murphy’s door and paste a hopeful smile on my face. “I just emailed you a contract. Do you have time to take a real quick look at it?” The white-haired company attorney sits back in his chair and stares at me as I quickly add, “It just came through, and I want your opinion before I sign it.” My two brothers would stroke out if they had any idea of the hoops I’m willing to jump through to sign the hot new band to our record label.

“Sure.” He sighs and puts his black square-framed glasses on his face before turning to his computer. He’s been the main corporate attorney for our family business for over fifty years. When my grandfather, Granddad Leo, ran the company, it was called Knightley Records. He signed countless popular bands and musicians throughout the years, and the company was thriving, but old age was catching up with him.

When my two older brothers, Hawk and Falcon, retired from the military, they took over and revamped the entire business. Knightley Records became Inked Knight Records, and I joined the family business as their marketing director. Within two years, we’d signed Bent to an exclusive deal. The band’s popularity soared, and our company became the “it” record label.

I’ve spent the last several years attempting to prove to my overprotective brothers that I don’t need their interference. It took a ton of hard work to convince them to give me a chance to negotiate contracts with potential clients, but they finally caved in. Since then, I’ve signed several high-profile artists, and I plan to add the hottest new group on the scene to my list soon.

“Oh,” I add, ready for the real kicker. “Can we keep this between us? I don’t want Hawk and Falcon to know until I finish my negotiations with the band I’m trying to sign.”

“Okay,” he agrees. “As long as the contract doesn’t appear to be detrimental to Inked Knight Records.”

I breathe a sigh of relief and step into his office. After shutting the door behind me, I sit across from him and wait for him to read. My mind wanders as I stare at the old metal clock on the wall and watch the second hand slowly ticking by. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice his face getting redder and redder while his eyes nearly bulge out of his head. It’s almost a relief when he finally chokes out, “What is this? Are you joining a BDSM club?” The usually unflappable lawyer stares at me with his mouth hanging open.

“No.” I sit across from him. “I’m trying to sign Sp*nked.” Crazy name for a band, but the theme is working for them big time. “It’s this hot new band that’s selling out all the clubs on the West Coast. I’ve been pestering their agent for weeks, and he finally got back to me yesterday. The band has rented a secluded house in Silver Spoon Falls, Texas, to work on their next album.” My sister-in-law’s best friend, London, is married to Bender Valentine, the former lead singer of Bent, and they live in the small Texas town. Harper, Falcon’s wife, has been friends with London Valentine since college.

As Mitch stares at me, I realize my brain has gone off on a tangent. “What does that have to do with this contract?”

“The band insisted I meet them at the Sterling Rope to discuss Inked Knight Records’ proposal. I had no idea it was a sex club when I accepted. I Googled and couldn’t find anything.” I point at his computer screen. “After scheduling the meeting, I started investigating the Sterling Rope and discovered nothing. Na-da. Zilch. The freaking club has absolutely zero social media presence and no website. I started to think someone was pulling a prank on me until I received that confidential email from the club. Evidently, the secret, exclusive sex club requires all guests to sign that before they will send any information.” It’s pretty annoying. The contract was signed by Roman Sterling, so I searched his name and found next to nothing—no pictures, no family history. The man might not even be real for all I know.

“This contract is very unusual.” Mitch draws my attention back to him and starts to explain what I’m agreeing to. “We need to go over each point to make sure you understand. Number one, you can never discuss anything that happens in the club with anyone. Not even your priest.” This is crazy, but I nod my head and cross my fingers behind my back because I know I’ll cave in and tell my best friend about it.

I’d rather get a pelvic exam than go over sex club rules with a lawyer who’s worked at my family’s company since before I was born, but I don’t really have a choice if I want to sign the band. “Thank you for doing this.”
